    Simply Amazing!

    • Written by from Bangalore

Not only that this batteries charge much faster than others, it also has an indicator light which turns green once fully charged. Not many Ni-Mh chargers I know could possibly do that. About the batteries- Even after the fact that they have a lower mAh rating compared to other ones in the market(2300mAh), I could shoot upto 250 photos on my canon 10x zoom powershot with most photos shot with the flash. Now thats what I call as performance! Way to go Apple!

    Not impressed at all

    • Written by from RESTON

all 6 batteries when used in my Magic mouse or wireless keyboard lose the bluetooth connection and only ever read 72% as max charge, also have repeatable issues with batteries not seating correctly in the charger - cheap product - can't say I recommend it.

    Doesn't Charge Very Well

    • Written by from Los Angeles

    Really disappointed with this product.

When I bought my new iMac in November it came with regular AA batteries already installed in the mouse and they lasted over three months so I replaced them with these rechargeable batteries and they last about a week or two and never fully charge. I can't get them to charge about 80% and I start losing a connection when they go under 50%. And half the time I can't get the charger to even register that the batteries are in there. I thought maybe I had a single faulty battery, but all of them are the same way.

    Perfect in so many ways!

As usual, Apple continues their expertise in ecology, economy & 21st century design & ease of use! Is there a AAA battery charger on the horizon?

How are you able to determine if the charge lasts a long time when you wrote your review on the same day you bought it? Please be honest with your reviews.

This product is one of the few let downs i have experienced with an apple product. Batteries do not fit properly and after four charge cycles my battwries no longer hold a charge for more than several days. Very dissapointed.

    Great Product!

This product is very compact and a great value! You get 6 batteries with a 10 year warranty. These batteries at a full charge last longer in my digital camera than throw away batteries! I love this product.

Not worthy of the Apple name

    • Written by from DAYTONA BEACH

Very disappointed. I purchased the charger after listening to the Sales pitch from the Best Buy Apple rep. After 6 weeks, the batteries in my mighty mouse died. I expected more than that out of the batteries. Regular batteries last about three months. I returned it and exchanged it for another. I gave it one month and this new one did the same thing. After 4 weeks, the batteries died. I will be returning this to the store with hopes of getting my money back. What a shame. It seemed too good to be true and it was. I expected more out of an Apple product. I noticed that everyone either absolutely LOVED this product or absolutely DISLIKED it. I'm sad to say I'm in the latter group. Please work harder, Apple, on improving this.

Second time around - and it works well

    • Written by from Westcliff on Sea

My previous review was highly critical, due to the fact that the battery charger unit did not fit!

However, one call to Apple Customer Services, and within 24 hours I had a complete replacement. Sent back the defective unit this morning.

Great service from Apple and I have to say the charger is excellent.

    They don't last long.

    • Written by from New York

They last about 17 days in the Magic Mouse with a usage of 10 hours a day.

After a year the charger and the batteries started acting up. It's hard now to get them to charge. Often the amber light will blink and i have to remove and reinsert the batteries and the charger a dozen times to get them to charge. This wasn't a problem in the first year and i don't do anything differently now.

It's interesting that the warranty expiry and the onset of problems coincide.

    Miserably Disappointed

    • Written by from Dallas

I've been an Apple booster for some 20 years but this charger is a miserable disappointment. The first one I bought was simply defective and had to be exchanged. The replacement charges, but almost never to 100%. The batteries last about 3 days in my mouse before I have to switch them out again. It can only be used with NiMH AA batteries, so all my other rechargeables are left sitting in a drawer. If I had it to do over again, I would have bought one of the more versatile (and less expensive) universal chargers that are available elsewhere.

    Terrible, doesn't work

    • Written by from Boulder

I bought one of these for work and it failed to charge after about 2 charges. THey sent me a second one as replacement and it failed in the same way. Don't buy this product! They don't work and it is a waste of money. Get some other battery recharger.

    Great, Reliable.

I bought a set for myself and will be purchasing more for friends as gifts. I only wish they would sell additional batteries separately so that I could run everything I own off of them!

    Incorrect information

    • Written by from DARIEN

Unfortunately, the comment on Oct. 12 by BB from Gonzales is only partially correct. The current 2009 Apple wireless keyboard uses two AA batteries. The 2007 version uses three and the original 2003 version has four.

    Not impressed

    • Written by from Auburn

I like the design and thought it's from Apple, must be good. But it doesn't charges the batteries full, 70% is the maximum I get. Disappointing, the charger should look good AND charge.

    Nice design but poor performance

    • Written by from Granada Hills

It's a nice, stylish compact unit, but when it comes to the crunch the experience is not so nice. The batteries that come with the charger are pathetic, lasting a lot less time than other rechargeable batteries, meaning you will be continually changing out the batteries in your mouse.

The charger itself (and I must admit this may be down to the poor quality batteries, I'm not sure of the technical details) does a poor job of charging the batteries, often charging them to an incomplete level. Right out of the box the charger from time to time would give a blinking orange light suggesting the official Apple batteries are incompatible (this is when the batteries are seated correctly).

In short, chances are you already own a battery charger, and you're thinking about getting this to compliment your Apple products. If that's the case, I'd say: don't bother. Stick with another charger.

    Stopped working after 2 weeks

    • Written by from Brooklyn

It's barely been 2 weeks since I've started using these batteries/charger and after a single round, all I get now is a blinking amber light and no charge. Terribly disappointed.

    Bit Disappointed

    • Written by from Kitchener

I purchased 2 of these because unfortunately for me my blue tooth keyboard is the older one which requires 3 batteries, and not 2, so I needed the extra pack. What I don't understand is why the batteries don't charge to 100% I only seem to be able to get about 80% if not less. This is applicable to both the batteries going into the keyboard, trackpad and mouse. Looks like the Energize batteries are a better option, for me at least.
