great i wish it works on my tv

I needed a replacement remote for my Apple TV, since the one that came with it had been damaged. No one at Apple could confirm that this was the right one, but, I took a chance. Surprise! It works perfectly and looks identical to the original I may order another one to go with this one. This remote is so slim that it's easy to loose. Fortunately, the Apple TV lets you use other unused remotes with it, so I'll let the kids use another bigger remote, and, I'll keep this one safe--I hope.

I just love the Apple Remote, the sleek, aluminum case is so complimentary and elegant sitting next to my MPB.. Totally unexpected, but very very happily surprised with the range of the remote, and how easy it is to use, and that it works with ALL my Apple stuff is fantastic!! NOW, if Steve would just design a house that ran on Snow Leopard, all would be right with the world! :)

Smart move on Apple's part. This product is awesome, both functionality wise and design wise. I love the fact that Apple has changed the design to match the rest of their products. Another plus, it costs the same as the previous version.

This new remote has a sleek deign in complicated packaging. When i got it i was surprised at how light it was. I love it if you have iAlertU it is great if you are leaving you just press a button as you walk out the door.

I was really excited to get the new version because i had the previous one. When i got it, it seemed so cool, but it was weirder to use than the old one. I find myself pressing the menu button instead of the center button often, and it is heard to find buttons in general. The old one was much easier to use, but not as attractive. Now that i lost the old one, i guess i will have to deal with the new one.

Works with my iMac (Mid 2011). iTunes and DVD Player. I sure I'll find other apps to use it with.
They should make an app to enhance the function of the remote. (deduct 1 star)

I have my Mac desk top and Apple TV in the same room. The remote drives me crazy because it will control both my Mac and apple tv at the same time. To picture how frustrating this can be, imagine every time u start a show on Netflix it starts up my music on my computer at the same time. Then if u attempt to stop the music you of course stop the show at the same time. (even if computer is in sleep mode it will pull it out of it)

I have basically deemed It obsolete and just use my iPad as the remote. The only issue with this is if I leave the house with my iPad my family is SOL if they want to watch TV

Works great right out of the box. I use it with a mac book pro and love it. great product

It has excellent build quality. Apple has definitely done it again! Works great and I love how it's made from aluminum and not cheap plastic like every other electronic accessory out there.
