    Are you serious!?!?

    • Written by from San Leandro

I purchase this keyboard back in Feb. 2011, I missed the side number pad because I'm a Logic user and prefer using shortcut keys. I got pass that. I loved the look of the keyboard and how clean my desk appeared without cables running acrossed. Yesterday, out of the blue, certain keys no longer responded. (Cap Lock, Delete. Space, Enter, left and right arrow) My keyboard is now useless. (only 8 month of use?)I had to plug in my old keyboard. Glad I hadn't already tossed it. :(
BTW, this is a known issue, just google it.

    Flawed Keyboard

    • Written by from Boulder Creek

This keyboard looks great, and is a staple if you own any apple computer. But great looking is about as far as it goes. I have had nothing but constant problems with this keyboard - it takes forever to connect, or doesn't connect... or just plain old does whatever it wants (typing the same letter over and over again until I have to take the batteries out). I own two of these, and one of them has a battery permanently stuck inside. I know it's probably because the battery corroded, but why not try to make a little space to work with? Please don't sacrifice reliability for good looks.

So, if you're like me and have to have all matching products, this is your only choice. But don't expect the quality of all other apple products, because this one is a lemon.

Great on the road and with iPad

    • Written by from Macomb

Purchased in 2010 to accompany my magic mouse, this has been put through its paces for ver twenty months. Has worked great with both my iPad and 2009 MacBook aluminum model, and has made getting work done while traveling much easier. It's been pretty durable and survived a couple of spills in its time. Only issue is that after loosing the end cap accidentally once, it was hard to find a replacement anywhere other than online auction sites which took over a month.

    a little small

while the functionality of the keyboard is awesome, it's just a bit small. I'm probably going to buy the keyboard with the numeric keypad anyway.

Best keyboard ever for iPad 2

    • Written by from Porter

This keyboard has been great for my iPad 2. I bought the joule iPad stand to go along with it and I must say I use this on a daily basis. Don't waste your time on them other built in keyboards that are attached to the case because they are hard to type on. Not comfortable at all. Those looking for a great keyboard the apple Bluetooth is the way to go.

I wish I had bought this earlier...

I've been using my new wireless keyboard and I just love it. Now my computer set up is more ergonomic and much more comfortable when I use my MBP. [The desk where I usually work is a a bit too high to use laptop comfortably for extended hours, but now I can use the slide-out keyboard tray.]

Since the keyboard is the same configuration as the laptop [keys just a different colour], I can type at the same speed.

The only thing I miss about it is that the keys aren't back-lit like on the laptop, thus it's not as convenient when using in low-light, but, aside from that, I'm extremely satisfied with it.

    Great keyboard!

    • Written by from Walworth

Wonderful keyboard! Easily accessible, small, yet easy to use! This is without a doubt the best keyboard you'll ever use. Even though it is a little pricey, as with all Apple products, the price is well worth it.

    This keyboard can handle abuse!

    • Written by from Toronto

If you do not have experience with this keyboard, as soon as you start typing on it you notice the difference. The keys are soft and easy to push, which makes it very easy to type. The keys are also very quiet, which is a nice plus for those of us that are quick at typing.
The wireless range is amazing. When I am watching a marathon of shows, I bring my keyboard with me to curl up on the couch. I never had a problem with this keyboard in the 2-3 years I've had it.
I am pretty clumsy.. I've dropped this keyboard many times and it is tough enough to handle me... even when I dropped drink after drink after drink on it.. Eventually (and many drinks later) when I spilt my last drink on it, even though the whole keyboard was completely covered, the only keys effected were two keys (the question and colon key)... which is absolutely amazing.. since I went threw a few keyboards (other brands, not this one).
I sincerely recommend this keyboard. My last incident was about a week ago, and although it is unfortunate I am unable to use my question mark and colon (which you can just click in character viewer) that is obviously my well deserved fault. I will be buying this keyboard again as soon as the iPhone 4S hype dies down!!

    Bluetooth Keyboard

    • Written by from Beverly Hills

When I first got this keyboard, I had a hard time without the numbers on the side as well as the top.

I got past that and learned to love it.

    Now it has dies.

    I would not recommend.

One of the best keyboards, hands down!

    • Written by

This keyboard is probably the best keyboard that I have ever used. I am already a fast typer but the design of this keyboard makes typing even more effortless.

The slight tilt is also helpful in allowing the typer to avoid wrist cramping/carpel tunnel syndrome (as opposed to the laptops).

I find this keyboard to be compact and small, yet it still allows me to complete my tasks efficiently.

Also, I like that it is uses bluetooth and is completely wireless, it doesn't take up any usb slots.

    Apple wireless keyboard

    • Written by from Ottawa

I love my new Mac.(July 2011) That said, I am still learning how to do the things I used to do on my PC now on the MAC. One thing I would like to do is program the function keys. In some of the PREFERENCES you can customize the Fn keys; all of them to #19....the only problem I have now is that with the standard keyboard you only have 12 Fn keys so some of the standard ops in the PREFERENCES section are just not available to me. As with other reviewers i love the ability to type better on this keyboard than on my PC ones...if only the full size apple numeric keyboard came in a wireless version.......I'm thinking ahead now....

    Need to have more improvements

    • Written by from San Jose

It would be nice if the keys color is black and the keys should be the same type of those keys on macbook pro. The white keys are sticky sometimes and the material are not the same like the ones on macbook pro. It should also have back-light for working at night. Need to have more improvements on this product. Those are the reasons I only give 2 stars. It is far away from being an ideal keyboard I would say. Hope Apple engineers can make changes to this keyboard.

Quality item, effective, functional. - Much Style.

    • Written by from Kingwood

IThe keyboard is functional and aesthetically pleasing; however, I find that I prefer the wired, extended version of the keyboard.

    The unit is well engineered.

The fastest keyboard I've ever typed on, a pleasure to use. I use it almost every day, and it's so sturdy I know it'll last me for years. Hard to believe it's only $69.

    Great Keyboard.

    • Written by from Honeoye Falls

I got this for my new desk for my birthday. Plugged my MacBook Pro into a 40" 1080p TV, paired this and an Apple Wireless Trackpad, and I love it. The keyboard is great. I was somewhat skeptical if I'd want the wireless keyboard and trackpad since I already have them built-in to my MacBook Pro, but it just lends a whole different experience to using the external monitor. Having the Trackpad off to the side of the keyboard is great because you don't have to avoid the trackpad with your palms. The Wireless Keyboard is theoretically identical to the one built-in to my 15" MacBook Pro. However—I don't know if it's a deeper action of the keys, being able to put it anywhere I want it without affecting the position of the screen, or the pleasant angle that it sits at, but—something just feels good about it. The angle, size, and mobility of it make it a breeze and a blast to use. It just feels incredible to type on it—I actually want to write my next essay, just to type on it.

    WELL-worth the pricey price-tag.

As far as setup, it just works. One intuitive trip through System Pref. to pair it and you're good-to-go.

Also has EXCELLENT battery life. I've been using it for a few days and it still reads "Battery Level: 100%".

I highly recommend this (especially in conjunction with the corresponding trackpad) to anyone who uses any kind of Mac at a workstation—Laptop or not.
