Well made product for the 'average' user although I have had no problems yet I am sure that with heavy use it will be more likely to fail in certain crutial ways.
Otherwise its a great product.

Cons: I wish it would turn on and off quicker because like most people, I dont like to wait.

This keyboard looks great, and is a staple if you own any apple computer. But great looking is about as far as it goes. I have had nothing but constant problems with this keyboard - it takes forever to connect, or doesn't connect... or just plain old does whatever it wants (typing the same letter over and over again until I have to take the batteries out). I own two of these, and one of them has a battery permanently stuck inside. I know it's probably because the battery corroded, but why not try to make a little space to work with? Please don't sacrifice reliability for good looks.

So, if you're like me and have to have all matching products, this is your only choice. But don't expect the quality of all other apple products, because this one is a lemon.

The Apple wireless keyboard is a great product. Reliable. Useful. Compatible. Its software even tells you when the batteries are running low in plenty of time to replace them. I use my keyboard as part of a desktop setup with a MacBook and I've also used it with an iPad.

What don't I like?
1. No reminder on which way to insert the batteries.
2. No number keypad.
3. No "forward delete" key. You have to use FCN+DEL for forward delete.
3. Can be just a bit dodgy on the initial pairing and the return pairing if the keyboard and its host machine have been separated.

I just finished cleaning up a full glass of water that spilled everywhere. This keyboard still works. I have spilled so much on it and I am ready to declare it waterproof. It is light, easy to type on, and looks great. The batteries last a while and it is convenient for travel if necessary. I love this keyboard and would never buy anything else now.

im typing this review with this keyboard right now. Its amazing I love it, its smooth to type on and very light weight and small. Its also very portable i throw it in my bag and go. there is no lag from the second i tought a key it appears on the screen.

This keyboard has only one Control key and that key is narrow and not in the lower-left corner. This makes editing in Emacs cumbersome.

There are no page up/down keys. To scroll a text window by one page, one must hold the "fn" key and tap the up or down arrow key. This cannot be done with one hand, which makes it an accessibility issue.

Works great and was easy to pair with the iPhone. It comes with batteries installed and ready to go. Took only about five minutes to go through the manual. Now, looking for a carrying case!

I use this exclusively with my iPad - Works like a charm. I love the tactile feel and portability. Connects quickly. Highly recommended.

I use this keyboard with a laptop stand and it is lovely and wonderful. A cinch to set up.

One line that should have been included in the documentation:
To turn off the keyboard, hold down the on/off switch until the green light goes out.

It wasn't obvious how to turn it off until I found the answer in a discussion group.

A few weeks ago when I had purchased my new Mac mini, I included the wired keyboard with numeric keypad.

Immediately after using it, I realized how much better this keyboard is than my old one, so I placed an order for this wireless keyboard for use with my iPhone.

Now, I simply mount my iPhone on a portable tripod and with this keyboard, I have a mini-computer!

Typing in Pages or Numbers on my iPhone with this keyboard is just incredible!

The keys click the moment they are pressed with such a satisfying sound that is music to my ears that encourages me to type faster.

Apple has done such a perfect job with the quality of the aluminum base, this keyboard makes the others (made out of cheap plastic) look cheap in comparison.

In other words, there is no competition!
