Cons:

1. Taller than the Macbook keyboard (flat) and the Apple wired keyboard (slightly tilted). Noticeably harder to type and easier to develop sore wrists after minutes of use (compared to Apple's other keyboards).

2. Battery died after 6 weeks of use (average 4 hours per day of typing). Previous logitech K250 lasted 3 months.

3. Flimsy keys compared to Apple's wired keyboard. When I put my finger on the a key and move it sideways, the keys could hit the aluminum frame on all four sides. This did not happen on my unibody macbook's keyboard or Apple's 2010 wired keyboard.

Pros:
1. Updated key texture compared to Apple's 2008 keyboards. Now there's more friction on the keys!

2. Easy connectivity on Mac and Ubuntu! Automatic and fast connection after each restart.


Other Thoughts:

I bought this keyboard for the iPad. As a computer science student, I have to constantly switch between Apple's wired, wireless, Macbook and dell's desktop keyboards.
The other three keyboards all work perfectly for me, but the angles of the keys are just too steep on the wireless keyboard that my wrists starts hurting after a short time of use. This is even more bothersome than the many typos I make because my fingers keep hitting the aluminum frame in between the keys. Now I use it with a magazine tucked beneath to keep the keys flat.
Also the keys give a high click instead of the usual firm click like Apple's other products. Overall, this is the first Apple product I bought that I felt was too much style over too little substance.

Get the wired keyboard instead, for the right feel.

Needs a number pad and the extra delete button that comes with it. I hate where they've put the left/right/up/down keys.

I loved this keyboard . . . until it quit working. Yes, jackholes, I have changed the batteries.

After about 2 years, the keyboard just quit. My bluetooth still recognizes it, but it won't communicate. For $70.00, I expect a keyboard to last longer than two years. I am now using a six-year-old Compaq-brand usb keyboard that cost way less than $70.00. I never thought I would be praising the quality of a Compaq product over Apple.

I was disappointed to find that the only wireless keyboard available for my new Mac is this tiny one. Sure it is pretty and sleek. But it has no numeric keypad. The keys are shallow and squished too close together. Also, there is an additional function key below the lefthand shift key. This has messed me up on most of my combo keystrokes that I used to be able to do without looking.

I suppose I could get used to typing on this thing, as the keys are shallower and there is potential for faster data entry... but I ended up going back to my old wireless extended Apple keyboard (even tho it uses up batteries quickly).

I can't help but think that this new smaller keyboard feels like Apple skimped on the options that are usually available on most other computer brand keyboards.

Apple really needs to offer an extended wireless keyboard!

Attractive but very inadequate keyboard. The wireless part is great, but too many other important features are missing. This keyboard came with my new iMac (one month old). First and foremost, it definitely needs a numeric keypad. I still haven't gotten used to the flat keys - they just don't feel right. While I don't consider myself an accomplished typist, my work using the wireless keyboard certainly seems to have many more typing errors than what I was used to with my old eMac's keyboard.

This keyboard is nice and small, but the buttons on it look tacky and cheap!
Why couldn't they create a wireless keypad with silver metal buttons and throw in a numeric keypad with calculator button and volume control knob. I want to know when will Apple add usb ports to their wireless keypad, think of how cool it would be to hook up a flash drive to your keypad and send the info wirelessly to your computer.
ANYWAYS THE KEYPAD IS TACKY AND ALMOST FEATURELESS, with the exception of the ON & OFF switch found on the side of the keypad.

The keyboard looks great, light weight, hardly longer than the ipad, but man are those keys louder than you think they are! I didn't notice when I first tried it out, or when I was home playing music while I worked....then I took it to a lecture with my ipad and by the end of the lecture I was using shorthand to reduce the number of noisy keystrokes. It is embarrassingly noisy in a quiet room along side macbook/Pro users. After typing for longer than a few minutes I really began to notice the wobbling of the keys that just isn't present in the laptop keyboards. I'm really disappointed.

I'm extremely frustrated with the wireless keyboard. The learning curve is use for anyone who works with code, long documents, or even the web. There are no "Page Up", "Page Down", "Home", and "End" dedicated buttons. Home and End are taken care of with Command + an arrow key, but Page Up and Page Down are not replicated (as far as I can tell thus far). Command + Up or Down is supposed to be the shortcut, but those take your immediately to the very bottom or very top of whatever screen you have open. This is no help if you are working through anything that is longer than two screens. Volume and playback buttons are combined with function buttons and so far, no combination of FN, Control, Option, Command, or Shift has allowed me to change the volume on my Mac since I synced the wireless keyboard.

Aesthetically, it is very nice, but the learning curve for anyone who does anything with longer documents is huge. There are shortcut pages on the web, but I haven't seen one specific to this keyboard yet. I can't believe I have to track down some sort of chart to use a keyboard.

The rest of Apple's products are intuitively designed. This is not.

While the keyboard is light and slim, it is certainly not much better than the touch screen. I hardly ever use it, and the area that the keyboard and iPad take up together uses as much space as a good sized laptop. Save a perfectly good $75!
