    Made me ditch the remote.

    • Written by from Richmond

Before i got my first truly modern Mac, I was using an iMac G5 followed by a white plastic Intel. Both of those had wired keyboards and I had to use the Apple Remote to control the iTunes when I'm not close in front of the machine. However, I bought a 2011 27" iMac used and it came with both the remote and this. I immediately found myself ditching the remote and doing everything remotely on the keyboard, whether it's controlling itunes, typing, or controlling the computer. And since it's not IR, it can be used anywhere in the range. The remote just sits there collecting dust right now… Also it seems to be very efficient or maybe it's the less use it gets because the mouse dies faster than the keyboard.

    The Best ever

    • Written by

This keyboard is sleek and good looking and everything. it has access to a lot of features and has a lot of options. But for pc users, they need some way to edit their keyboard to, but i'm a mac user so i don't care. the keys are all responsive (except for a small flaw in the caps lock, could be just mine) and not being able to tell if its on or not. the wireless is awesome, never disconnects, and these Ωƒß¥†ƒ∑ƒ˚ߨ¥©•ªtg2h©ß¨¥ƒßˆ¬¥ƒ¥™¨∂¬ƒ©ˆ†¶©π® i love doing that and i love this keyboard <3

    Perfect and swift

    • Written by from Findlay

I just bought an iMac and I chose to keep the wireless Keyboard for the first time.

I work all day on my mac (10 hours a day) and I play quite a lot too (at least 1 hour everyday). In both usage, it is perfect :
    - keys are not too soft but not too hard, they also produce a shuffling sound when you strike them that is comfortable.
    - the keyboard is fast. I play FPS games (Counter Strike, Left4Dead, Team Fortress etc...) and I play Diablo3 and in both case, the Keyboard is responsive, never lagging and really comfortable.
    - I bought the mac a couple months ago and I'm still at 90% of the batteries (included with it) despite an intensive use.
    - the size is the same as the laptop keyboards from the Macbooks. but the angle makes it way more comfortable.

On the minus side for workers :
    - No numeric keyboard. I don't care, my work doesn't make me need that, but some people will be annoyed.
    - white keys get grey really fast (dirty). You still can clean them really easily.

    Best keyboard iv ever bought.

    • Written by from edwardsville

this keyboard is thin, very sturdy, always responsive and iv found its compatible with every device iv tried it on. this list includes iPads, the microsoft surface, dell laptops, HP laptops and my dell desktop. I bought this with 2 rechargeable batteries and i haven't looked back. i also find its a little easier to type on this particular keyboard than on a standard logitec or dell one. idk if its due to the key size and shape or overall size and shape or the tilt or what but i can definitely say i saw an increase in speed once i started using this keyboard.

    Just love this keyboard!

    • Written by from Glendora

I use this with my MacBook Air when I have it at home and use it like a desktop. It's very light and the keyboard has a great touch. I type very fast and there's no lag whatsoever. It's also very portable. I can just throw it in my bag when I take my Mac out. I use it with the wireless mouse and together they make a terrific combination. Also excellent battery life. I've used it every day for between 6-7 hours a day for almost 2 months and it's still at 100%.

    Excellent and Comfortable Keyboard

    • Written by from Singapore

For those who are looking for a great keyboard on which you intend to type a lot on, GET THIS. It can pair to your IOS devices, and pairs really easily. It feels comfortable, and it is tilted slightly, creating an easier environment to type with. Keys are not too chunky [like most other keyboards] and not too thin [like MB keyboards]. Battery lasts really long [My battery is at 100% from abt 1 mth ago].

    Amazing thank you

    • Written by from Missoula

I just want to say thank you to apple for creating such a sturdy keyboard. I was sitting in a lecture hall with my iPad and keyboard out and a fellow student knocked them both on the floor and then proceeded to step on both of them. Needless to say they both work and nothing on either are broken. Best keyboard I have ever used. It is very comfortable to type on and I seem to be making fewer mistakes then before.
    Again thank you apple.

Works beautifully, decent battery life and range

    • Written by from Monona

This keyboard seems to work really well: the range is decent, the battery life is good, and it has a compact footprint without feeling cramped. Solid construction, too. I liked it enough at the office that I bought a second one for home.

    Very Nice Keyboard

    • Written by from Harpers Ferry

I have to say with all the reviews out there saying this key board is hit or miss, I was scared to buy it. I finally put the money down and bought the wireless keyboard. If your mac supports the bluetooth required for the key board I would say buy it! It is a great. I have a 13" 2011 macbook pro and it connected immediately. Once connected, you can actually check the charge of the batteries. I would suggest before you buy go to best buy and see if you like the size. I have seen people rate this keyboard one star due to their hands being bigger. That isn't fault of apple. If you like the size and feel of the keys do not hesitate. Great keyboard. Have not run into any issues with connectivity once.

100% Back this product by apple.

    Works perfectly!

I love this device so much, I bought a second for my iPad. Even with an iPad 2 it syncs in only a couple of seconds to connect once you press the power button. Plus the batteries last a really long time, at least several months with significant use. An added bonus is that it is lighter than any of the other rechargable keyboards that I have found that had decent ratings.

    Should be no confusion.

    • Written by from LAFAYETTE

This is the best keyboard hands down. I use it daily for school and although a tad pricy, definitely worth the price. I have the Incase Compact backpack (in case you're curious about space management) which if you'd like to look at, is on this store. The backpack is quite slim itself, and the content in my daily bag are my Macbook Pro 13 inch, Magic Mouse sometimes, iPad Air with smart case, and 3 five subject notebooks, yet somehow the keyboard is still able to fit without problem. It's slim, has a long battery life, is compact, durable, and still able to have the quality and size of a normal keyboard. Being my fingers are longer than average, I still haven't had a problem typing with it yet. Now that you get my point, I think you should stop reading this and go buy and experience one for yourself.

The keys on the keyboard are really easy to push. They fill like marshmallows!! So smooth! I don't afitally own one but at bestbuy the keyboard felt awsome!!

    Works great

    • Written by from Dartmouth

Was worried about buying this at first based on the reviews I read, one of them being if it drops the battery could get stuck... Well, i'v been using weekly for about 2 months now.. The box that the keyboard comes in is where it goes when i'm done using it..

Besides that, LOVE the feel of this keyboard, very fluent, feels good to type. Highly recommend but it is a bit more on the pricey side.

Me Too - Best Keyboard I've Used

    • Written by from Hilton

As an electrical engineer for 32 years now and having experienced the evolution of keyboards as it occurred, I can honestly say that this little guy is now the best I've used. I've owned an MBP 15" Retina for a year now (as my sole computing device) and have also recently purchased the Matias Mini Tactile Pro with the mechanical switches used in the old Apple extended keyboard, what many say was the best keyboard Apple ever made.

These are all great keyboards and, ultimately, this is a very subjective issue. But, for me, the new Apple Wireless takes the cake. The touch response has a little more throw, "kickback" and springiness than the MBP but nowhere near the travel and "clickiness" (or the sheer volume) of the Tactile Pro. IMO, the Apple Wireless perfectly nails the balance between these opposite ends of the spectrum.

For the life of me, I don't understand the lower-rated reviews, including those complaining about the lack of numeric keypad. How many people actually even use one anymore (accountants, etc, aside) and does it even begin to make up for the fact that your mouse (or trackpad) cannot be located in a more ergonomic position, closer to your body and keyboard? If you really need one, Apple makes one, albeit wired. But, isn't it most likely the case that if you need an extended board, it's going to be sitting in one place most of the time anyways?

Regarding battery life, I haven't owned mine long enough yet to tell, so I'm hoping I get the same results as those reporting great results in that category too. Apparently this newer model automaticaly powers down when not in use and then back up when tapped into use again, so the complaint about not knowing when it's turned off have been addressed in the newer models.
