    Really nice accessory...

    • Written by from Coraopolis

I am using this wireless keyboard with my new ipad 2 and i must say it rocks!!! The main purpose of purchasing ipad 2 was browsing and as we know browsing is not limited to reading any more and just like this one you might want to put lot of reviews, write emails, searching for stuff has got lot more easier. I also plan to use apps like iwork and logmein so that i can do some time work remotely. This keyboard just make things lot easier than using that ipad virtual keyboard...

    You'll need AA batteries!

    • Written by from Brooklyn

This is a pretty cool device. I quickly made the purchase, totally overlooking the fact that it doesn't have a charger. It works with AA batteries:(. So, stock up on them batteries! Another drawback for me was that it doesn't have the numeric section like the USB keyboard. I do a lot of financing thingies, and while this shorter keyboard version is cute, it's no bueno for me!

    Solid, but needs num pad

    • Written by from Fairfax

Excellent keyboard, but I wish it were full-sized. It types well especially if you are used to apple laptop keyboard and with the magic track-pad, it's a great match-up.

    Good....but

    • Written by from Lomita

The design is great and the feel of the buttons is different than previous models, but you get used to it rather quickly. No problem there. My problem is that it does not have a numerical keypad. I did not know that when I optioned out of the wired keyboard and chose the wireless one during my MacPro purchase. After the computer arrived and I realized there was no numerical keypad, I was disappointed but hoped I wouldn't miss the keypad that much. I found that if you used it in the past for passwords or any other numerical type of entry, you will miss it every time with this model. I have no idea why Apple doesn't offer two wireless models. One without a numerical keypad and one with. I am selling my wireless keyboard and purchasing one with a keypad. I lasted 5 months.

    works great with ipad

    • Written by from Saint John

I purchased this keyboard for my ipad and I love it. I use it for all my school assignments on my pages app and they are both excellent together I would recommend buying this product for this reason, its making my Ipad more and more like a laptop and I love it its just what I wanted and the keyboard is not a bad price either. Now if a wireless mouse would work with my ipad it would be awesome. thank you apple!

    Works really well

Was looking around for a bluetooth keyboard for my Vaio. The only product that I found being small, light, ergonomic and strong was the Apple Wireless Keyboard.

After using the product I love it. Its very well engineered, strong, lightweight and looks really good. On top of that the keys are really the best I tried to type with. Short keystroke and distinct.

The keyboard is missing some keys for Windows. However, that is not a problem. I downloaded a small free program that remaps the keys (like the Win key that I never use) to another key. Its all done by adding registry entries, so no resident program. Got all the functionality that I need and I am very happy with the product.

    complainers are fools

    • Written by from Stamford

everyone please be advised that so many of the complaints below are invalid. these people do not know how to use mac products and therefore assume the keyboard is incapable of certain features.

scrolling, pg up/down, delete fwd/back, blah blah blah - learn how to use command/function/control/option keys. all your worries are solved. my macbook pro doesn't have pg up/down, but its still the best laptop on the market

to the complaints about numeric keyboard - anyone can see from the pictures that it is absent. don't buy the product if it doesn't have the specs you desire. if you do purchase, you can't give poor grade based on features you knew were absent prior to purchase

    great accessory for the iPad

    • Written by from Austin

I purchased this device to use with my iPad. Pretty much the only initial annoyance with the iPad was typing. You have this large virtual keyboard, but I find that I can't type on it much faster than the one on my phone. So I picked up this guy and so far so good. fast sync with the iPad, small size, easy to throw in your laptop bag. Still on the first set of batteries after 1 month of use. Hardly travel with my macbook pro now.

    What a Great Keyboard!

    • Written by from Pasco

I am a new Mac user... brand new... Recently switched from PC to Mac within the last month (after over 20 years on a PC). I had been used to full-size PC keyboards for so long, that when I saw this keyboard arrive with my new iMac, my startled self thought, What the HECK is this?? But it's really a HUGE improvement in keyboards in general. It has such an easy and quiet touch on it, and its "smallness" doesn't affect the speed with which I type/key. In fact, I type FASTER on this keyboard than on a regular-size keyboard and with less mistakes. I think this is because the keys are within easier finger-reach and it doesn't take a lot of pressure to key in the letters. I highly recommend it!

Nicely done ... just need extended keyboard features

    • Written by from SAINT LOUIS PARK

A page up/down, forward delete and 10-key are pretty much a must for me. I'm still having trouble adjusting, so may have to set this one aside, which is a pity.

Really like the feel and wireless capability, just too limited.

    Nice!

    • Written by from Jakarta

I bought this for and addition with the new MacBook Pro 13 inch and it turns out great! Working effectively with my professional mighty mouse. It's really something different than using your iPhone as a keyboard. A must for people that likes to connect their Macs to TV's or projectors or Cinema Displays!

    Awesome keyboard!

    • Written by from Portland

I love this wireless keyboard, it was so easy to hook up it took me less than 60 seconds and I was using it with my MacBook. This keyboard has great range, excellent battery life, and makes writing a lot easier for me. I have no complaints at all with this product it is one of my favorite accessories to use with my MacBook.

Thank you Apple for a great product!

    Excellent Keyboard

    • Written by from Modesto

I bought this keyboard because I own the mStand; and I must say, it is an excellent keyboard. The keyboard is lightweight, compact, and easy to move, it pairs very quickly with all of my Bluetooth devices, and it's compatibility with the Mac makes it a joy to use. Great job Apple!

    Not backlit

    • Written by from Pittsburg

Bought this to use with my MacBook when it is connected to my tv. It weighs about as much as a paper clip which is taking some getting used to since I type in my lap. I'm baffled as to why it has white textured keys, I can't wait to see how dirty it will look in a year. The lack of a backlight is completely dumb and I would have purchased another keyboard if I would have realized this before.

    No delete key

    • Written by from Shickshinny

I recently bought at the Apple Store in NY the new iPad and Apple Wireless Keyboard in Spanish to use with my Apple computers and the iPad. The iPad, great! but was disappointed by the keyboard because it does not have a delete key: you can delete letters, etc. backwards, but no letters or anything else to your right, something people who write do constantly. Can someone offer a solution? Thanks.

    Wireless Keyboard

    • Written by from Yonkers

Had my keyboard for a few years now. One consistant problem is the keyboard lossing connection to my mini mac. Others have had this problem as I read through the reviews.

Other then that it works fine

    Looks Ten, Types 3

    • Written by from Bloomington

So this keyboard has a great look and feels like a laptop. This is not a good choice for doing a lot of typing as the keys are too close together and don't give enough feedback - either tactile or auditory - when you type. Useless for data entry. I thought Apple wanted to appeal to the business and scientific community. The separate aftermarket calculator has gotten only two stars.
I made my own keyboard stand to put this keyboard in the proper angle and position to type with a wrist rest. Still not as good as some of the after market keyboards. Bluetooth can be buggy at times and depend on battery charge, USB less of a problem. If it came with an iMac, save it to use with your iPad, and buy an aftermarket wired keyboard if you do a lot of typing. I wouldn't buy it as a replacement keyboard.
This is a case of form being subservient to function.
