    Nice Keyboard

    • Written by from Rensselaer

I purchased this with my new MacBook Pro and at this point I have not used it much, It seems I could have saved the money but when I have a need for it, it is very nice to have and performs well. The keys have a good feel and it is a nice compliment to my MBP.

    Wireless keyboard

    • Written by from ALFRED

Just purchased the new wireless keyboard, absolutely fantastic.love the size of it,small enough for your lap ,not bulky, nice and slim. Do not buy this if you cannot handle not having the numerical keys on the end , works fine for us. Recommend buying the rechargeable battery PAC,always have fresh batteries available . Highly recommended.,

I got this to go with my iPad, which I found I typed on a lot more than I expected. Works perfectly. It is so lightweight and has a similar profile to the iPad (give or take a few inches). It's convenient and talks effortlessly with my iPad. I highly recommend it.

Not sure why this isn't a perfect 5

    • Written by from hinckley

I give this a 5 anyone who gives it less has the wrong expectation of this. It would be like giving a ferrari a 3 because the shocks where bouncy.

The keyboard was designed to be small and compact which it is so why would anyone complain about the lack of numerical keys.

The click feel on the keys is great and although not identical to that of a macbook pro I would say it is very close. Again though the main priority was size so the keyboard is very thin and I am sure this affect the feel of the keys.

Other people are complaining about the size. Which is silly in all honesty I don't see this as the PERFECT workstation keyboard but in all honesty why would you need wireless at a workstation. I see this as the perfect highly portable keyboard.

The compatibility and the ability for the device to be synced with multiple devices is GREAT. I have used this device with my windows pc, ps3, macbook pro, and my ipod touch.

With the ipod touch just put your ipod touch in a dock to hold it upright and have at it. The same goes with the ipad however if you are buying this keyboard for just ipod or ipad use I recommend the dock keyboard since it is annoying to turn on and off every time you use it as if it is left on the onscreen keyboard wont appear. With the dock you just plop your ipad/ipod into the dock and use it when you need it.

PS3 was super easy to sync and this really is the BEST keyboard for PS3 it is tiny and can be left on your coffee table any time you need to type something in the web browser or in a chat you can quickly grab the keyboard. This is the main reason I purchased this keyboard.

Macbook pro is a sinch as well and I use it anytime my macbook is plugged into my TV.

    Great Keyboard

    • Written by from PInedale

First off the people who complain about not having a backlight should learn how to type and learn where the keys are. You are not supposed to look at the keyboard! The leaking batterie leak if you use them for too long just like all batteries, Duh. This keyboard works great and typing on it is very easy and very fast. I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent device - just new keystrokes to learn

    • Written by from Cheektowaga

I saw a number of people comment that this device suffers from a lack of a lot of keys that are critical. I can definitely accept that having a numeric keypad would be useful, but aside from that one part, there actually ISN'T anything that you can't handle.

They key is to use the FN key and learn a few keystrokes. For example, there isn't a DELETE key that lets you remove characters before the cursor, but holding FN + delete (backspace) does it.

Likewise, you can emulate the HOME or END keys with CMD + Arrow Up or Arrow Down. These aren't really new keystrokes, just ones that we're used to having single keys for instead. Once you get past that idea, they keyboard is excellent. Mine is hooked up to a Mini with a Magic Mouse in the living room and I can use it perfectly from my couch across from the TV (10 + feet no problem - have tested it to 20 with no problems either). If Apple adds a number pad, so much the better, but this product has been excellent for two weeks already.

Just got the keyboard in today, works great with my macbook. i can finally stop leaning over the keyboard to work. I highly recommend, if you're wondering about the size of the keyboard it is identical to your macbook keyboard with a slight tilt toward you. Great product.

The Apple keyboard is wonderful. I'm using it now. I also have a mighty mouse. You'll be able to type while sitting on your couch having your macbook hooked up to your big screen HDTV. Truly a great product. As for an insert key on the keyboard, its command key+V.

This product shall never be transcended

The wireless keyboard is the defining item that makes Apple´s computing hardware the best in the world - it is as if almost by conspiracy others have chosen to be medicore in their own interesting ways and let Apple be the lone good ranger who delivers the result every time in a most boring and predictable way - this includes companies solely dedicated to producing keyboards.

Products and companies this good usually do not make it to users like you or me who are not at the top of the pyramid or the food chain, - so I often wonder often what made Apple slip through the cracks? Contrary to the popular myth, this item as well as others are not that expensive when it´s components and design quality is added up.

Having this keyboard will make your life more richer, productivity will rise, period!

Great keyboard, excellent feedback from the keys. Nearly identical to the feel of a Macbook Pro. As with all Apple products, the construction is phenominal. Nice and sturdy and a pleasure to use.

    Great Product Match with iPad

    • Written by from Shelton

This keyboard is excellent in its functioning and size. I have very large hands and find thie keyboard to be quite comfortable. While it is smaller than a standard keyboard (with the extended area for a numeric pad) the form is about the same size as a standard keyboard.

My primary use is with an iPad and it works quite well. It pairs via bluetooth seamlessly. I recommend this keyboard without any concerns. You can't go wrong.

    Great. Lacking NOTHING

    • Written by from Douglaston

With a small overall size but large and great feeling keys to type on, I have liked nothing better. THERE IS A DELETE KEY. Backspace is the delete button on the top right, and to deletee forward you press Function + Delete, so there is nothing missing. I have been a gamer all my life, and I owned a gaming keyboard. This lacks nothing (besides the macro keys which I never used much anyway) and the keys feel great to play games on. People complain about the arrow keys, I have had no problems with them, and they are easy to hit. All the keys that are on the right side of a full-sized keyboard can be accessed using either the function, control, or option keys, so you really are not missing anything besides wires and unnecessary space. Bluetooth is an awesome feature, no lag.

    works great with ipad

    • Written by from Saint John

I purchased this keyboard for my ipad and I love it. I use it for all my school assignments on my pages app and they are both excellent together I would recommend buying this product for this reason, its making my Ipad more and more like a laptop and I love it its just what I wanted and the keyboard is not a bad price either. Now if a wireless mouse would work with my ipad it would be awesome. thank you apple!

I have a 2yr ol dell latitude 630, its decent but since i got an ipad i barely use it. It serves as my tv viewing - movie watching better than google tv lol

But with this bluetooth keyboard i can lay in bed and stream tv/movies from hulu/netflix/abc/fox etc...its a better google tv and a way to recycle an aging laptop.

This keyboard is also a life saver when it comes to typing papers on the ipad, sure ipad keyboard is fine for writing on forums an txting & emails but 5plus page papers or writing stories this keyboard syncs up great and with an ipad case the ipad becomes a more flexible "laptop" you can sit in class take notes more comfortably

I plan on getting Magic mouse or probably magic trckpad both have multitouch, in the near future.

One of the best apple products, so far so good. Except the white keys turn yellow/black. Nothing some handiwipes or lysol wipes cannot remove :).

    A must have!

    • Written by from Bakersfield

The wireless keyboard is a must have! I purchased the docking station keyboard initially. I didn't like it and never used it. I exchanged that keyboard for the wireless keyboard. It is awesome. It is very easy to set up. It's so easy to use I find myself using it even when I don't really need to. Do yourself a favor and get one.

I am currently using the keyboard with my iPad. I haven't used it with my Macbook yet but I can.

    • Written by from Belmont

This keyboard is the best keyboard I have ever bought from the Apple Store. It works exactly how I expected it to. I'm not in school just yet, but once I'm back, I can put this thing to good use for note-taking.

If you can't trust your own handwriting, and you need the use of a note-taking device, then use this with your iPad and get the Documents to Go for your iPad as well.

Be sure to play around with your keyboard a bit to make sure it stays in good condition. Use it to unlock passcodes, log in from websites, etc.
