    Amazing!!!!!

    • Written by from SAINT AUGUSTINE

I absoloutly love the mac computer keyboards!! The keys are more spread apart than they would be on any normal keyboard, making it a lot less likely to hit the wrong key!! I definatley give it a thumbs up!!!

Great keyboard ... but I want more :-)

    • Written by from Vancouver

Really great keyboard, but having a MacBook experience makes it "not so good" without the backlight.
Also, as an active iPad user, I hope to see more support from iOS guys! For example, the ability to change active apps with COMMAND+TAB, etc.

A must have for MacBook Pro users

    • Written by from GOLDEN

When it comes to writing in a text editor, programming, graphic design, or even just basic control of your computer, The Apple Wireless Keyboard is a must have. Especially if you are a MacBook Pro user. This wireless keyboard would definitely make a great tool for using your laptop, especially when you want to sit back and use your computer from the couch as it sits on the coffee. Table. This is definitely a must have Apple product.

    Great keyboard.

    • Written by from HOUSTON

I work in an office using windows, typing all day, using a plain keyboard.

This apple keyboard I use from home, is so quiet, and nice design.
I have been using them for 2 years now, worked perfectly with my PS3, is very sturdy and easy to clean.
Worried about the ergonomics, well.. if you have an iMac, you spend little time on the keyboard, and more on the track pad or mouse.

    Great product

This keyboard has been great. Good battery life. Has not missed a keystroke! Also I like the compact size, leaves room for my Magic Trackpad and I'm now glad it does not have a numeric pad because it fits in the keyboard tray better than my huge PC keyboard.

So its wireless and you can type on it but...

    • Written by from Reno

The wireless design and ultra-minimalist look are great. The problem in my opinion is that function and ergonomics were given a backseat or no consideration at all and the design and aesthetics of the keyboard was the only consideration. There is no way to adjust the tilt of the keyboard in the back, nothing to rest your wrists on, and the numerical keypad was removed for some odd reason I don't understand. So get this keyboard if you want sore wrists and want to find and pick at the linear numbers in a QWERTY way. There is the wired keyboard with the 10-key numerical keypad, yet it solves the 10 key problem by creating another problem. That keyboard also has no place to put your wrists either. With that said, if you have a high end retail store or salon/spa and only need to type in a name and address at a time, and being ultra-chic is the priority, this is the keyboard for you. Not a keyboard for a serious keyboardist.

    Best Keyboard I've ever owned

    • Written by from Centerville

Although I have the older version of this keyboard, the only difference is the # of AA batteries (3 vs. 2 in new one). I must say I've never had a single issue with the keyboard save the first time I paired it, and that only took a couple tries. But, since then I've been using this beautiful keyboard and all of it's many functions every day since I bought it. I have it hooked up to a MBP in clamshell, and truly it is exactly like the keyboard that was on my MBP in the first place, but I like the angle a little better. If you on the wall about this keyboard I say buy it, you won't ever regret it, especially if you use aftermarket rechargeable batteries as I do.

Keyboard Falls Short of the Mark

    • Written by from Chester

This keyboard is great to the touch but falls way short for utility. Apple needs to design a wireless keyboard that incorporates a 10 key (calculator capability great addition) and a trackpad. With all of the gesture capabilities built in to Lion it's a waste not to have a trackpad. The keyboard can be deeper than the current providing room for wrist rest with trackpad in the middle probably.

    Not happy

    • Written by from Mona Vale

Got this tiny keyboard with my new iMac 27" - so I have this huge screen and this tiny keyboard which is useless. Love the wireless connection and the ergonomics but that's about it. The size and shape and location of keys is almost identical to my old wired keyboard - except that the entire RHS of the keyboard is missing!! This gives lots of inefficiencies, not only the missing delete key (to delete forward), but also the numeric keypad, large functional arrow keys, and also the home, end, page up and page down keys. I really need these keys!!

Added to that they have placed the fn key to the far left of the keyboard where the control key is normally positioned (which has been moved right one space to accommodate the moved fn key) so I am forever pressing the fn key and wondering why my commands aren't working.

I for one am totally unimpressed with this keyboard. It's minimilistic gone mad and has created so many inefficiencies. So I now have the options of either just plugging in my old dirty keyboard, buying a new USB connected full keyboard or buying a trackpad plus 'magic' keypad....crazy.

    Rediculous

    • Written by from Tulsa

Received one of these keyboards with my 47 inch iMac yesterday. Jonathan Ive needs to get serious about designing a keyboard for people who actually use keyboards.

I'll be looking around the net for a substitute.

    Works Well

    • Written by from Mechanicsburg

I have the very first iteration of this keyboard, if you don't spill on it or abuse it, it will last. Mine is several years old and works like new, the only complaint is the older ones don't have a Launchpad button, so since I upgraded my server to Lion I need to buy a new one.

    Excellent Keyboard

    • Written by from Lewisville

I've had mine for a year now. Uses batteries very efficiently, and connects very easily. It can be used very easily with iPhone or iPad. It required some getting used to do to its slightly smaller size, but I now prefer this keyboard rather than other larger keyboards.

This is a great keyboard... for awhile. I've heard countless stories of them failing. Mine was brand new a year ago and now it doesn't work. This is one of the products that Apple has simply not mastered yet. Very Disappointed.

    I love this keyboard

    • Written by from Winston-salem

I do lots of typing, and I've found this keyboard to be very easy on my hands. I like the touch of the keys and it's great not having a keyboard take up a lot of space. As a left-hander, having the numbers on the right hand side was something I never used, so I don't miss it.

    Excellent Responsive Product

    • Written by from Catasauqua

Many have complained about the bluetooth connectivity, but having used the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse for a little over three months, I can't be more happy. I was expecting the size and design of the keyboard to be uncomfortable, but I have no complaints. I can touch-type for hours without tiring and don't miss my large, clunky, and "ergonomic" PC keyboard. The responsiveness of the keys is excellent and there is no lag between keyboard and computer. The keys have a wonderful feel to them, soft with a slight grippiness, and the tactile clicking sensation feels more controlled than a typical keyboard. The whole experience of typing has certain je ne sais quoi. I have 70% battery life three months later (from the original packaged batteries) and that is with at least five hours of daily use.

Great feel but lacking IPad integration

    • Written by from Andover

I bought this for IPad. It's got a great feel and would work great for extended typing. But it's lacking in the ability to do simple keyboard navigation. For example, there's no way to tab to the next field on a web page or the next field in any app for that matter. There's no way to jump to a different app (like Alt-tab on windows) and no way to jump to a differ. You're forced to use a mix of screen gestures and typing - not ideal for an expert user!

I'm not a Mac user (yet), so some of this may be "normal" for Mac - not sure.

I'd buy the magic trackpad to help (easier than working on a vertical Ipad screen), but that isn't supported.
