These are fabulous...and also serve as a remote shutter release!

    • Written by from Coral Gables

I bought one of these for my iPhone, and it has been great for taking notes and replying to emails. I have also used it with my EeePC, which otherwise has a small keyboard. It works well for anything that communicates by Bluetooth. My wife loves hers for her new iPhone, and I'm about to order a third for my son, who has an iPhone and iPad. It works splendidly with either one.
The keyboard is beautifully designed and runs for months on a pair of standard AA batteries. The on/off switch is unobtrusive and easy to access. Turning it off requires holding the switch for a few seconds until a small green light goes off, although it also can put itself to sleep.
One of the great things I just discovered about the keyboard is that it can serve as a remote shutter release for the iPhone and iPad. When the Camera app is open, just press the F12 (volume up) key on the keyboard. It works from more than 20 feet away.

    Great Products

I used them on my PC, Mac, iPhone, and even my PlayStation 3. I had it almost a year and I love it! But if you use it on PC or Mac it might use alot of battery life besides that its very good.

Very thin and light. Easy to use and the range is awesome. Not bulky like the keyboard with the number pad. Works wonders with my mac :]

    Great compact Keyboard

    • Written by from Raytown

This keyboard is great. For a wireless product that runs off batteries, it has to be the most energy-efficient thing Ive ever owned. Its been a couple months and my battery still says 100%! Not having numeric keys is not that bad considering how well this one works.

    Better then I expected

Just bought my imac about 2 weeks ago, and since they were having problems online I was forced to go in-store to buy it. I wasn't happy that I couldn't have the full wired keyboard. I figured I would switch it later on. I ended up really liking this keyboard. Don't be fooled by how small it is, it is actually very easy to type on. Battery life with it is exceptional!

    The Keyboard is Fabulous!

    • Written by from Sarasota

This is a perfect little wireless keyboard and works seamlessly with the iPad! Some reviews have criticized if for being too small, but that is exactly what I want to use with my iPad. I have no problems typing on it and I just love the white/stainless combo! It's great!

Perfect for my needs. Great battery life, power management, simple pairing.

    • Written by from Agoura Hills

I have the original Apple wireless keyboard in my lab and it dies quickly if you forget to turn off the power. It also weighs more due to the battery. This one is perfect. It's lighter with batteries and has great power management features that make for long battery life. It's easy to pair and easy to take with you.

I bought it as soon as iOS4 came out for my iPhone and now I can leave my notebook at home for shorter trips where I don't need that computing power but need to write.

Highly recommended. Could only be better if foldable.

    Great Keyboard

    • Written by from Celebration

This keyboard is great for pretty much any use (except for spreadsheet use because of the lack of a number pad), especially for the iPad if you have the Apple iPad case, because you can just prop up the 'Pad with the integrated stand in the case and type away.

I had originally bought the iPad dock with the attached keyboard, but then learned that, to put it simply, it's a piece of junk. The iPad could not connect to it with the case on it (c'mon, Apple, if you designed both of them, they should be compatible!), so i sent the thing back and bought this keyboard.

I have a little 10.2" netbook bag that I use for my iPad, and this fits in perfectly alongside the iPad and the giant iPad wall charger (the optional, separate one). I just wish that Apple would add extra functionality to this keyboard for the iPad, such as keyboard shortcuts and the ability to exit the current app.

Cutting to the chase, the keyboard can be summed up in two words: buy now.

    Great for Easy Chair Typing

    • Written by from Idyllwild

I like to put my iPad on the footrest of my recliner and the keyboard on my lap when I'm blogging, answering email, etc. It works like a charm. I have the iPad in a Sena case, so it sits at exactly the right angle for viewing. The keyboard is small and light enough where I don't feel like I have a huge weight resting on my lap. It's also ideal for travel - easy to pack (I keep it in it's box to keep it safe) and easy to use on a hotel bed. I was going to buy the keyboard with the dock attached, but I'm glad I got this - it's the perfect setup for the way I work.

    You made my year!

    • Written by from Snoqualmie

I saw the new Apple wireless keyboard at Radio Shack during my Christmas shopping, AND I had to replace my original IPad after I broke the screen. (Ugh, but not too ugh.) I decided to replace it with the new Retina IPad and joy of joys, I love it too! It helped to soothe the pain of breaking my old screen, to say the least. I couldn't, in conscious, also treat myself to a new keyboard so I told my sons that I wanted the keyboard as my gift for Christmas since all of the others that I had tried were just not working for me. I didn't like the feel of the others, the weight of the keys, some of them rubber which was a definite no. Sort of like playing a piano, you have to have the right feel or you just don't play well. Well, long story short, they didn't get it for me, so guess what?! I went shopping the day after Christmas and bought it for myself. Wow! I love it! It feels just like it should, and now I can type away without so many mistakes and so much frustration! There just isn't a comparison to this great product, and it was a snap setting it up. Thank you Apple! You have made my year!

Excellent - works on iPad whereas wired one does not.

    • Written by from Washington

Bought this after discovering that my wired USB compact apple keyboard no longer works with the iPad and the Camera Connection Kit (CCK)

Fortunately, this Bluetooth version has the same solid feel, excellent key action and importanlty, works with the iPad without a hitch.

    Great Keyboard.

    • Written by from Honeoye Falls

I got this for my new desk for my birthday. Plugged my MacBook Pro into a 40" 1080p TV, paired this and an Apple Wireless Trackpad, and I love it. The keyboard is great. I was somewhat skeptical if I'd want the wireless keyboard and trackpad since I already have them built-in to my MacBook Pro, but it just lends a whole different experience to using the external monitor. Having the Trackpad off to the side of the keyboard is great because you don't have to avoid the trackpad with your palms. The Wireless Keyboard is theoretically identical to the one built-in to my 15" MacBook Pro. However—I don't know if it's a deeper action of the keys, being able to put it anywhere I want it without affecting the position of the screen, or the pleasant angle that it sits at, but—something just feels good about it. The angle, size, and mobility of it make it a breeze and a blast to use. It just feels incredible to type on it—I actually want to write my next essay, just to type on it.

    WELL-worth the pricey price-tag.

As far as setup, it just works. One intuitive trip through System Pref. to pair it and you're good-to-go.

Also has EXCELLENT battery life. I've been using it for a few days and it still reads "Battery Level: 100%".

I highly recommend this (especially in conjunction with the corresponding trackpad) to anyone who uses any kind of Mac at a workstation—Laptop or not.

I'm still getting used to it, though. The height off the desk is the biggest difference I find. But it paired with my Retina MBP straight away, and no troubles.

how did i get by without this? And why?

    • Written by from San Antonio

I love my wireless keyboard so much I had to write a review. It paired easily with my old Macbook (sort of a Lazurus project) and my newer 13" MacbookPro. A whole row of keys and the battery on the old Macbook got fried when someone accidentally drowned it a few years back. Thanks to my new wireless keyboard, "It's alive!" I had to turn the new MacbookPro off while i was pairing to the old Mac and vice versa but the keyboard now works fine with both. I noticed some folks mentioned problems with paring.. I know I had to be patient...it seemed like it couldn't find it initially but now we are locked and loaded with no problems whatsoever.

Also, the keyboard is light yet durable and angled which offers a more ergo-friendliy experience then even the Macbook itself. Works great with the Magic Mouse and no problems using with RocketFIsh adapter to 22" monitor. Thank you Apple for making such a stellar and affordable product. Worth every penny!

    The best!

This is the most responsive keyboard I have used for any of my tablets. The keys feel amazing when you click them! Plus it is so easy to type with the large spaces between the keys. Of course i have the white iPad so They are a perfect stylish match! If you are looking at a different keyboard because this one is out of budget then listen closly. Do not buy it! It may not seem like it but it willl 100% pay of to buy this durable ALUMINUM one instead! There are no products that work better with apple products than other apple products themselves.

I've had mine for a year now. Uses batteries very efficiently, and connects very easily. It can be used very easily with iPhone or iPad. It required some getting used to do to its slightly smaller size, but I now prefer this keyboard rather than other larger keyboards.
