I like this keyboard, except for the fact that it drops characters, or mis-reads characters when I type the "delete" key quickly. In mid-delete the cursor will jump to a new location, then continue deleting. This is kind of maddening and requires correcting the unintended deletes.

So if you plan to use this keyboard, don't type quickly!

I've used this keyboard for 2 years now with my iPad 2 and it's been perfect! There is NEVER a need to turn it on and off once you have it paired and turned on. Don't bother to ever turn it off. I had to change out the 2 AA batteries after 8 MONTHS of use. Sooo easy compared to having to plug into a USB every other day. I also like the idea of not having the keyboard hooked up with the case because that just makes the iPad bulkier all the time. This Apple keyboard is also very thin and easily slips into my purse on those rare occasions when I need to take it with me. I found a small padded slipcase for it for that purpose.

Oh....if you want to use the on-screen keyboard there's a small button at the top right corner of the keyboard that will let you switch back and forth between the on-screen keyboard and the Apple keyboard. It just couldn't be easier. I love this Keyboard and consider it just as good as any other Apple product...perfect!

The keyboard couldn't feel better. And it's white so its easy to see the keys at night if you really need to see the keys. I have one question though....

I now have an iPad Mini....does anybody know if I can pair it with the same keyboard and then use it with both the iPad 2 and the Mini WITHOUT having to unpair with one to use the other? If not, I'll just buy another Apple keyboard. But I need to know. Thanks to anyone who can answer me.

People complaining about batteries dying don't know how to use it your suppose to turn it off when you are not using it by holding the power button down until it says connection lost or key board off I have a 21.5 inch I Mac I know.

It provides such a convenience when I'm in class and want to take notes on my iPad. You might argue that you can just type on the screen but I find the wireless keyboard is much easier and not as tiring when there are a lot of notes to take down. It is so addicting though. A must have.

Just trashed my original with a cup of coffee, tried to use an older keyboard but after an hour was hopeless...logged out of work and drove to nearest Apple Store, where I bought two: one to replace the original, a second to keep in a safe place. Doomsday preppers take heed!

I got this a month ago, it works perfectly, with my iPad 3. If only this came in different colors, I would give it a higher rate (if possible!)

A few weeks ago when I had purchased my new Mac mini, I included the wired keyboard with numeric keypad.

Immediately after using it, I realized how much better this keyboard is than my old one, so I placed an order for this wireless keyboard for use with my iPhone.

Now, I simply mount my iPhone on a portable tripod and with this keyboard, I have a mini-computer!

Typing in Pages or Numbers on my iPhone with this keyboard is just incredible!

The keys click the moment they are pressed with such a satisfying sound that is music to my ears that encourages me to type faster.

Apple has done such a perfect job with the quality of the aluminum base, this keyboard makes the others (made out of cheap plastic) look cheap in comparison.

In other words, there is no competition!

I love the look and feel of this keyboard. I do wish that backlighting was included as well as a version with a number pad, but I knew what I was buying and will judge this based on the features it does have. I love the typing feel and minimal depth of the keys. It makes for a very comfortable and efficient typing experience when long hours are needed. Battery life has been great and there is a free widget available from Apple downloads called Mighty Monitor, that will help people keep track of battery life on all the Apple bluetooth devices. Some have complained that you cannot turn the keyboard off. Yes you can. Simply hold the power button down for approximately 5 seconds and the green light will turn off. This is the same on the Magic Trackpad. Taking the time to do this will greatly improve battery life. Having this keyboard is a godsend as it can be paired with both an iPad and an iPhone as well. The function keys can also be used in unique ways with these devices, and in the case of the iPad, it turns it into a laptop experience. A must have for iPad users who spend a lot of time on the device for productivity. The minimalist design of this keyboard and its elegant looks compliment any Mac or iOS device setup beautifully. Whenever I have to use another keyboard, I find it so clunky that I really appreciate the thought that Apple puts into the products they make that much more.
