I was so excited to get this keyboard and the wireless mouse! Unfortunately, after trying it out for a few days, my wrists were hurting. I am a home computer user, nothing too extensive - email, bills, and shopping. I had some repetitive injury to my wrists/tendons in the past (who doesn't have that these days?)

The area where the batteries are inserted tilts the keyboard up a little too high. My wrists were no longer in neutral, but they were in extension. Add typing while planting my wrists for stabilization, along with my tendonitis, and I was a sad camper knowing this keyboard wouldn't work for me.

I really wanted this keyboard.
I ended up getting the regular wired keyboard instead.

Basically, if you have some existing wrist/tendon/carpal tunnel pain, take this for a test drive first.

After just over a year, the shift key stopped to work for the top and bottom rows of letters. It only worked on the middles row (A-L, etc.)

Then the keyboard would change the screen brightness on its own. When I turned it off, there was no problem with the brightness being adjusted.

The form is quite nice, especially the smaller footprint. I bought it to save a USB port. I put my laptop on a platform, 10" above my desk and use the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to have the monitor at the right hight while working at the desk.

I will not buy a new one unless Apple offers apple care.

First, I could not turn on the keyboard because the on/off button was stuck. Then, I exchanged it for a new one that worked, though it disconnected occasionally. Then, I dropped the keyboard and since then the on/off button does not work again AND they won't exchange it because I dropped it.

Worked fine for about a year but burns through batteries and constantly disconnects when batteries are low without warning. Final insult was when batteries leaked and there is no way to remove them and clean it up. Had to discard keyboard. Went back to using the original extended wireless keyboard which is discontinued. Too bad, it is a much better product and has a numerical keypad. Looking at other reviews, it seems to be a common problem. Apple can and should do a better job with this product!

I really like the size and feel of this keyboard, but the trouble is it's either disconnecting because the batteries are dead, or for an unknown reason. I really don't want to BUY another keyboard, but I might end up doing that since the one Apple gave me with my computer is completely unreliable.

This keyboard goes through sooooo many batteries. It's a real shame to think about all the batteries I've thrown into a landfill. And, more recently, I went to change my batteries and found they had exploded/corroded inside. I'm getting a wired keyboard next.

Bought a new iMac three weeks ago. I have already gotten rid of the magic mouse that came with it (traded it for brand new Epson printer that came with a friend's new Macbook Pro). I just gave the keyboard to the same friend. The keyboard is way to small for my hands, and the lack of a number pad and backlight is also no good for me. I am often on the computer in dim lighting, so the backlit keyboard is important to me. I replaced the keyboard with a Logitech K800 wireless and I can say it is the best keyboard I have ever owned. I also replaced the magic mouse with a magic pad, and I added a Logitech M570 mouse because I prefer trackballs win I play poker online. Now my setup is perfect. I was slow to make the full transition to a Mac, but now with this setup and the addition of Parallels software, I am officially done with PC's (at least at home).

great slim keyboard, but really wish it had the numeric keypad as well... I guess if you want that, you have to buy the non-wireless version (boo.)
