I love my new Imac Quad and all about it.

BUT, they the wireless keyboard should have a back light!!!

It took me a while to warm up to this keyboard. Like many other reviewers, I at first missed the numeric keypad. Contrary to what many have said, there is a forward delete, but it's not obvious: you have to press the fn key with the delete key. Once I got used to it, I found it very natural. The keys are responsive. I also have the Magic Mouse and I turn both it and the keyboard off when I'm not using the computer. My battery life has been fine.

As far as the numpad, I don't miss it at all. I have an iPhone, and there's a great wireless app for it called (appropriately) NumPad. It not only works flawlessly to replace the missing keypad, but it can also re-create the layout for Sibelius (the music notation program). The app would also work with an iPod Touch.

I used to be skeptical of any wireless input device, but the keyboard works well. And setup was really easy.

I give high regard to Apple's design team and love the design of this keyboard. I have very large hands but find it simple to use this keyboard on a daily basis. I use it in conjunction with my MacBook Pro... I find that when I get used to a particular desktop keyboard then go out on the road, I find I'm less efficient when I have to start typing on my laptop. The nice thing about this is the keyboard is nearly identical to the keyboard of the MBP so I'm golden.

I originally bought my first ultra-light wireless keyboard a year ago and loved the way it was easy to pack up and take with me on business trips. I used this keyboard every day and have a fairly heavy hand but also get up to about 100wpm when I'm real busy and pound away at this thing. I have to give it credit for taking the punishment but after a year of every day use, it finally gave in. My wife doesn't care for the keyboard so when we got her new iMac 27", I took her keyboard and am on my second one. This seems a bit different besides being a 2-battery which the old one was a 3-battery, it seems a little heavier too. I hope I get more than a year out of this one but we'll see.

It's annoying to read all over that this keyboard "misses numeric keypad". Guess what: that's the reason I bought it in the first place. Regular writing in an armchair is very uncomfortable if it has numeric keypad. Still, you can clearly see before buying that this keyboard doesn't have numeric keys so what's the point whining about it?
I did have connectivity issues but, somehow surprisingly, I resolved them by removing the bluetooth driver that came with my usb dongle and replacing it with default Windows XP driver. It works like a charm now, despite the fact that at the same time I use another bluetooth dongle for the network.
The obvious disadvantage is the price. In Poland, where I bought it, it costs significantly more than 69 bucks (US is so cheap and yet you still whine about the price)
To sum up, I'm not an Apple fanboy, I bought this for PC and I spend on it 10 times the price of my previous keyboard, but I would do this again cause Apple's competition is to shy to dump the numeric keypad and adopt minimalistic design.

I love this keyboard, totally made watching movies on my LCD television more enjoyable. I used the keyboard as a wireless remote, I mean who wouldn't want to watch a movie already saved on your laptop, but on your 40" flat screen and be able to control it from the comfort of your couch!

The keyboard in my opinion has class leading build quality and fit & finish. It has a reassuring weight and solidity to it. Functionality and ease of set up is what we've come to expect from Apple....easy peasy.

Now, for the reason why I couldn't give it the 5th star. I had originally purchased the wireless keyboard 9 months ago and fell in love with it (except the 3 battery requirement...whaaaat?!?! why 3?!?!) everything worked great, until about a week ago. One day last week a section of the keyboard stopped working, a group of the keys on the right hand side just went dead. I went straight to my neighbourhood Apple Store and made an appointment with the Genius Bar. Thankfully it was still covered under warranty, and there was no hesitation to replace it by the Genius Rep. I was so excited to realize that the new model only required 2 batteries, hear that, just 2...AMAZING!!! lol now I don't have to break a 4 pack of batteries anymore and have a loner left...Thanks Apple!

The only thing missing from it. Backlightng to type in a darker environment. Otherwise, the mother of keyboards.

This is a great keyboard that is very reliable, small, and sturdy. As a manager of a medium sized network (125 staff) I am constantly having requests to replace these wireless keyboards with the wired keyboard containing the number pad.

Just about every professional industry standard graphics/audio/video editing system takes advantage of the number pad, so this is really a keyboard for people who only use their computer for typing and browsing the web.

For what it does, it works great! I just wish there was a different version with a number pad.

would give this 5 stars if it had the additional keys with it. Why cut the right side off? I don't understand what they were thinking. Please give me back my numbers, Home, End, and most importantly, my Pg Up and Pg Down keys!!

Just got this keyboard and so far

I am very much missing the number pad that is usual on the right side of keyboards and the "caps lock" button works but often does not illuminate. Mac quickly sent me a replacement and the replacement has the same problem.

The board/buttons are easy to use and I am enjoying the wireless feature. It's great for putting it out of reach of my one year old.
