    Very useful...

Just got this product a few days ago, and it just works fine. I've tried half of the plugs recently and they all charge my iPod properly. I don't see any flaws in this product, except that in my opinion, they really should have put a lower price on it. I just see it as kind of a rip off, since you will only be using it when traveling, and it only contains some plastic plugs and a wire. That's all.

    Works better than expected

I got this kit because I am in Sweden for the summer and was bringing both my Macbook and iPod with me. It works perfectly, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that both the thick and thin pin plugs work in the outlets (I brought them both just in case), so I can leave one on the iPod charger and the other on my power adapter. The only complaint I have is that I didn't know they carry them at the store near my home, so I paid a hefty shipping fee to get it in time, but I suppose I can only blame that on myself. Also, the thick pin plug seems to make a distressing sort of "crunching" sound when I pull it out of the outlet, because the pins are not smooth (the metal part sticks out beyond the plastic), so I put that on the iPod charger since I won't be using it as much. Otherwise, a perfect product for not too bad of a price! :-)

    Excellent accessory for Mac enthusiast

I picked this up for my iPhone for a trip to France/Ireland and it really worked out great. After killing my iPhone battery on the plane to France, I used the French plug adapter in the airport and was good as new. I now also have a MBP and this kit will also work with the MagSafe adapters as well and this is super bonus for me. Only thing I'd like to see is possibly, some sort of carrying case for this thing. Had to carry around a whole bunch plugs in my bag last time so something small, simple would great.

    Absolutely Worth It

The USB power adapter is a great product. But 35 bucks? This includes 6 AC plugs and prongs along with a USB cable that works with every iPod and iPhone in existence. It has definitely helped me out a lot, especially when I went to Europe. When the electrical sockets were different.

I have to travel to China every summer to my Dad's house and I was in need of a charger and outlet converter since the voltage and power cord plug there is different at some places. I also plan on not bringing a computer everywhere I go.

Look anyone who is willing to spend that much money to go ti these countries or have their company do it is willing to spend $40 so they can use their cell Phone. Look it's a great deal and if you're leaving the country with your iPhone you pretty much NEED it so... good product

    Not very practical

    • Written by from Toronto

The adapter plugs are limited to this unit only, ie cannot be used with any other appliance such as a camera battery charger, shaver etc. I bought the simple Apple USB power adapter (still 35$ expensive) along with a good quality universal travel adapter for 25$ (Heys) and my travel needs were met.

Downside: I was limited to charging one unit at a time but everything worked out fine.

I bought this Travel Adapter Kit while on vacation in Malaysia because the Travel Adapter I bought for my MacBook Pro kept shocking me. This kit is worth every penny it comes with every adapter you need and a bonus iPod World charger.

Great for iPods, iPhones and Apple laptops

I traveled to the Netherlands recently and bought the World Travel Adapter Kit. Even though it says the thick round adapter is for Korea, it works just fine in Europe, so you can use both the thick and thin adapters--at least in the Netherlands. All the sockets I tried accepted both adapters without problems. This kit is great--but now I need a good excuse to visit all the other countries I have adapters for.

Tip: Also take along a couple of universal plug adapters (available at Radio Shack, etc.). I took my iMac along with me and was able to use the adapter just fine, without having to buy a European iMac cable from the local Apple store.

    Handy but a bit pricy.

    • Written by from Genève 3

I bought this and it came out very handy, especially when I needed to travel between South America, the US, UK and the Middle East within a month.
It's a nice thing to have if it really bothers you (it does bother me!) to have a non-matching adaptor plugged into your AC charger.
If it doesn't really bother you, then you could get non-Apple ones for half the price since, as pretty as they are, I find it a bit of a rip off to charge you 40 bucks for just a bunch of plastic adaptors (yet very nice).
