Awesome Mouse, Fits perfectly in your hand

    • Written by from CEDAR CITY

I love this mouse, it fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. It's very energy efficient and syncs perfectly with all Mac computers. The multi fingered gestures are awesome and it is extremely well made. I highly recommend this mouse to anyone who is thinking of buying a Mac.

    Amazing and perfect!

    • Written by from Durham

I just got this mouse today, and I can't believe how much I have used it. It works seamlessly with my MacBook Pro, and the connection is as instant as my built-in trackpad. I think that $70 is a bit too much for what it is, but it makes up for it in its elegance and ease of use. When I set it up, my computer recognized it immediately, and I was given a range of customization options, and being left-handed, I was EXTREMELY happy to see that it had options to use in a left-handed mode. Overall, extremely happy with it, and look forward to continuing use!

Very functional and easy to use. No problems yet

    • Written by from Aiken

I bought this mouse to use with my Macbook Air, as I am not a good trackpad kind of guy, and have enjoyed it since I got it out of the box. I had to go to it's control panel on my Macbook Air to change some settings (speed, swipes, etc), but it has functioned flawlessly since I got it.

    the mouse that roared!

    • Written by from Palo Alto

I was having a screaming session with my mouse...again!
It wasn't moving around freely and was a real drag (lol), but then I turned it over and noticed that the apple icon on the bottom was very dirty and had some gunk on it.
I took a very light grit sandpaper and went to town...I was able to smooth it down until the icon was shiny again and guess what?
My mouse now rolls around my desk like it was on roller skates and the cursor moves happily and easily again!!
I'm loving it once more!! Try it....

I have this mouse for 3 years and still works like new! Of course with some wear on the sides but still works perfectly with no signs that will die any time soon.

I must be using a SPECIAL Magic Mouse

    • Written by from OCEANSIDE

Honestly, I read all these bad reviews and thought to myself, "I must have gotten one of the good ones." Problems with connectivity, lack of responsiveness, battery power consumption, left/right click non-functionality: I have none of these problems. Well, maybe the battery consumption, but even that is only pretty much what I would expect. I use rechargeable lithiums and they last a good 45 days between charges (and I never turn my MM off). It loses connection on rare occasions, but turning it off and on fixes the problem. The touchtop is incredibly sensitive, so no problem with responsiveness. And you really just have to click far to the right or left, not closer to the middle of the unit, to get that l/r functionality. Make sure to go into Preferences to set it up as you like.

I love this little guy, and I make a living with my Mac. No tech is perfect, but between the elegance of the design to the functionality it brings, I am a solid fan of the MM. Maybe there was just a bad batch out there.

    Best mouse I've ever owned

    • Written by from Pullman

As God is my witness, I cannot figure out what the negative reviewers are talking about. The Apple Magic Mouse IS the best mouse I've ever owned -- and it's my first wireless mouse! It tracks perfectly. I can set it up so that if I click the right side of the mouse, it "right-clicks." It scrolls by just rolling my finger over the surface -- no noisy, annoying roller buttons. The technology contained in this little $69 mouse is outstanding. i would buy this mouse 100 times over rather than buy any other mouse I've ever owned once.

    Best Mouse Ever!

    • Written by from Raleigh

I needed a mouse for my MacBook for a while, but was unsure which one to choose from (whether to stick with an Apple product or go for some other brand). After rave reviews from my friend about the Magic Mouse, I finally decided to buy it. It is AMAZING!! This mouse can do so much more than the trackpad on the MacBook. The bluetooth connected seamlessly and it is much more fluid in movement. Great product!! I only wish it had some kind of case to protect it.

I do photoshop work using this mouse. For each photo, I click the mouse many times and very strenuously. It's almost been a year and the mouse has not let me down. It is also very useful to have side scrolling.

    Another quality product from Apple!

    • Written by from ARLINGTON HEIGHTS

..great product from Apple. And to those that are complaining about battery life, please take a close look @ the batteries that are used by Apple. They are the Energizer Lithium Batteries, which last much longer than the traditional Energizer batteries. A bit on the pricey side, but worth every penny with the battery life you get out of them.

Android Phone and the Apple Magic Mouse

    • Written by from Philadelphia

My Samsung Galaxy Note II (Smart Phone) easily connects to the Apple Magic Mouse via Bluetooth.
This enables the Multi-Touch/ Multi-Gesture smart mouse to seamlessly control the Note II.
A Clearly defined mouse pointer icon appears on any open window screen. Follow it to l easily and quickly open or close applications or multi-task on the phone, as well as maximizing / minimizing objects on each screen andscrolling quickly in any direction or page or groups of pages. This makes wide ranging scrolls across or through files, folders, lists, websites, photos, lightning fast.

The Magic mouse's MAGIC is controlled by sliding a finger or two on or over the top surface of the Magic mouse. You do not have to physically move the Magic mouse.
The Smart Gestures yield tons of controls for the Android Phone.
Am I the only benefactor of this truly Unique integration of this device and accessories?

The addition of a 9 inch wide Bluetooth keyboard completes a very capable and handy micro computer system.

    Very Good Mouse!

    • Written by from New York

I read all the reviews and was thinking of not buying this mouse but while in the Apple Store I decided to try it. You can return it within 14 days not questions asked. It is a good product. It feels good in your hand and is quick and responsive. Once you get used to it you'll love it. I have no bad things to say about this mouse.

Give it a try and you'll be happy with it.

Do not listen to the poor reviews, this mouse is fantastic.

    • Written by from Burford

I had reservations about buying the mouse due to the poor reviews, but I cannot understand where people are coming from. The battery is fine and does not run out fast, if you are not using it, turn it off! Secondly, the gesture commands are easy to get to grips with and I was using it fine instantly. With the right hand click and the multiple gestures available, it navigates on the mac extremely easily. Certainly worth a buy, although the only thing that I would have liked to have seen as an improvement is the zoom feature, you can zoom in on web pages using a gesture, but it only works on web pages, therefore it would be good if I could use the gesture to zoom in on Microsoft Word and Pages for example. Other wise, I think that the mouse is very good!

Mobe Magic charger is solution to battery and disconnection issue.

    • Written by from Lachine

I like the mouse but like everyone else, the battery connection and resulting dropped connection drives me crazy! I have however found a perfect solution and it is the Mobe Magic charger.

Yes it cost $40, but it is a small price to pay and you always have a fully charged mouse. The reason it works is the battery and bottom plate as integrated and rigid, so there is no movement despite a little rough treatment.

Note, even when the mouse is fully charged, it will only show 86% on the battery status. This is because rechargeable batteries have a lower voltage, usually 1.2v instead of 1.5v.

Anyway, I have no more problems since using it.
