The only thing I find extremely annoying is that I have to use a mouse pad with mine because my desk is glass and the laser doesn't register the glass as a usable surface.

When I got my first iMac (2010 27" model), it came with the Magic Mouse and while I only used it for a month or so, I absolutely ADORED it. The only reason that I stopped using it is when the Magic Trackpad was released, which I purchased on day one! It did not take more than 30 mins for me to fall in love with the Trackpad to the point where I ditched the Magic Mouse and I was sad to do so. I used it a LOT that month for hours each day, and every single day.

I have 20 years of computer experience under my belt and it was my favorite mouse and would have remained my favorite pointing device if Apple hadn't outdone itself again with the Trackpad. (no surprise there) I also liked the fact that I did not need a mousepad and it handled the slight uneven nature of the table that I used it on effortlessly without disruption.

As is true for almost every last technology device from Apple, its design was perfect for me as well! I'm tall and I have big hands and had absolutely no problems using the Magic Mouse without any discomfort and it brought me joy every day that I had it, even if I was merely admiring it for its beauty, which I did do on a semi regular basis. ;-)

If you're reading this because you're thinking of getting a mouse, you need not look further. It even worked great in Windows 7 (both via BootCamp and virtualized)

i just got this mouse few days ago and i really like it, i like the way is made and.
most people might not like it because it doesn't have a left & right buttons.
the way i look at it is that if it has the same functionality but looks different and especially that neat i like it.

I just got the new mouse yesterday, and I'm so happy that finally mac got rid off that annoying ball. I had to buy 3 mighty m.'s in a year for my laptop.
So far the new mouse is amazing. Works perfectly, and looks beautiful.

Waiting for an update to able to do the 3rd click.

Of course, being an Apple product, this mouse is admirably designed. It's sleek, and smooth, and functional. I love that it's bluetooth enabled — no plugging stupid wireless receivers into one of the USB ports on my MacBook Air.

Overall very smooth. Took a little while to get used to using a mouse again, slightly different multitouch gestures which you can figure out without even referencing anything. Only thing is I wish it was cheaper. $70 is steep for a mouse, but I want my workspace to look sleep and this went with everything else. Also had heard from tons of friends how they loved it.

I've been using a mouse since they were first introduced and this is by far the most useful, fast and effective input device I've had the pleasure of using on a daily basis.

I use all of the shortcuts with the touch surface for maximum productivity on my 27" iMac, like switching between desktops, scrolling etc.

I wasn't sure if I'd like it at first (I was a dedicated user of the original Microsoft Intellipoint user) but once I saw how much time it saved me and how much more productive I could be, it was love everlasting. Been using it for over a year and anything less makes me frown.

Finally a wireless mouse that works great. I have had previous apple mice that I had to force apart to clean the scroll wheel then glue back together. This one I have had for two months now and it has caused me no problems. I like its design and it's special features. It took you some time but it looks as if you got it right this time.

After using the mouse provided with my iMac 7+ years ago, I finally caved in and bought a new mouse. I'm glad I waited! The magic mouse is amazing! It's slim, and definitely made for smaller hands. I find it hard to use the wireless mouse I have for my MacBook since that one is so clunky.

I was iffy at first from reading the reviews, but after going into the store, I instantly fell in love. Having no scroll wheel is wonderful and being able to flip through pages you looked at last with a swipe of your finger is an added bonus.

And rechargeable batteries are included. I do not regret this purchase at all. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. I even plan on buying another one for my MacBook.

This mouse is really easy to use and gives me so many features that i wish i had before. I was worried about the lack of scroll ball but it was still great. I can only complain about the "natural scrolling" but that can be disabled. I love how the shape is comfortable and feels like Im using a iphone as a mouse. never had connection problems in 2 years.

    My Magic Mouse

I bought the Magic Mouse this past saturday and absolutely love it. It only took a few minutes to hook it up and it definitely has a good feel in the hand. I'm a design major in college and use Adobe programs a lot and have heard this mouse wasn't very good for it. Well I'll tell you what I used it for four different projects over the weekend and it worked just fine. As long as you turn the scroll speed down and the momentum setting for the mouse off you'll have no problem with the Adobe programs. I would recommend this product to any Mac user looking to replace there USB mouse with the roller ball that tends to break. Its definitely a good investment.

Bought this magic mouse to replace my bluetooth mighty mouse. The new mouse is amazingly more superior to the older mouses, and the removal of trackball for finger motion is amazing. The lack of a trackball also avoids the problems with previous mouses with clogging of dirt.

Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice, sleek peripheral, especially if trying to keep an all Apple look.

I just washed this in my washing machine on accident and it still works.... it really is magic....

And my battery life seems to be lasting pretty long, I'm not sure why people think it's a battery hog. I use mine regularly and haven't had to change the batteries on it. It's been over a year now.
