    Great

    • Written by from Las Vegas

I just got my first MacBook Pro and as much as I love the track pad on my laptop, I'm lost without a mouse. So I purchased a Magic Mouse. This thing is great, all the different gestures you can do, it works 10 ft away if I want it to, I really enjoy this product. The only issue I have with it is the battery cover on the bottom seems cheap. It's loose all the time, and I can tell it might need replacing fairly soon just because it doesn't seem to fit tight enough. But that's the only issue I have. Another great product from Apple. But it's time to give us a price break on your products though, you've made enough, we will always buy your products, just hook us up with some private discount codes or something. I think it's the least you can do.

    My Opinion

This mouse is nice, but when I move the mouse sometimes get stuck get I get used to it. This product takes some time to getting used to, if you're having any problem go to system preferences> mouse> change anything there!

    Positively magical

    • Written by from Peoria

Premium Apple build quality and design...this mouse looks and feels good. It is a bit small around the top which makes it awkward if you have larger hands. Click is responsive and accurate. Touch controls along the mouse surface respond remarkably well and the mouse is extremely accurate at determining the placement of your hand. Touch scrolling provides almost as much accuracy as a scroll wheel. Mouse is a competent and attractive companion if you're looking for a recreation/entertainment setup. Office use or heavy gaming may prefer a mouse with more traditional buttons.

    it's a little touchy...

    • Written by from El Segundo

The mouse works okay...I really wanted a simple mouse that is wireless...
I turned off all the gestures because all I really do is go up and down safari browser pages...

When you are in Google earth and other applications, it starts zooming. I've concluded that my other finger is moving a bit on the mouse activating some of the gestures when I don't want them (so this is a bit frustrating).

As others said, the battery life is not that good...but I have a bunch of Enteloop AA (white) rechargeable batteries on hand which I probably change about 1 time per month.

Nice design of a mouse...I have 3-4 of them for my other computers and have not had any failures yet (unlike other reviewers)...and my kids have dropped it on the ground a few times already too.

    Perfect but....

    • Written by from Parkland

This is one of the best mouses you can get for a mac. It does almost everything the trackpad can do but in the form of a mouse. One problem I have is that the paint on the sides is starting to wear off, which I am a bit disappointed because it's not cheap. It's definitely quicker then using a trackpad. If you know how to use it well than it gets the job done.

**For all the people wondering or thinking the mouse doesn't right click. You click the ride side of the mouse with one finger on the mouse only.**

A very nice and fancy mouse for my new iMac! Though I really don't recommend it for any gamers at all.

    Eats batteries

This is a very good product except for the fact that it eats batteries at least 5 times as much as my microsoft mouse.

Absolutely awesome mouse, instead of working with Photoshop

    • Written by from Veliko Tarnovo

Really love it the design, the multi-touch features. It's great for everything, but Photoshop. If you're like me working with precise scrolling then this one is not for you.

    works great in 10.5.8 leopard

    • Written by from Toronto

I downloaded software and connected without problems. Momentum scrolling is possible by using terminal application. just search for it. Works really good on my old powerbook g4, I like the momentum scrolling. Would have given it a 5 but software doesnt include the option for momentum scrolling.

    Connection problems

    • Written by from Новосибирск

It loses connection constantly. Several times a day I have to realization that mouse isn't connected to my MacBook Pro. It isn't really a problem to connect it, but it's really annoying. Because each time you have to find Bluetooth mark on the top on the screen, and then in two clicks connect the mouse with MacBook.

    Love/Hate

    • Written by from Memphis

I love the feel of this item and love how it works, but i hate that it requires batterie. My children use the computer a lot and it means I have a stash of batteries just for the mouse and keyboard to alleviate tantrums. Aside from the battery issue I actually love using this item and would recommend it to friends.

    Apple Magic

This mouse is great. Of course in typical fashion this device works great with the mac through bluetooth. My only complaint would be that the mouse is sometimes hard to grip. Worth the price!!

    Love it

    • Written by from ottawa

So basically this mouse is the best mouse i've ever had. I gave it 4/5 stars cause it's kinda hard to get that excited about a mouse. That being said I've had mine for well over a year now and it's still at 100% battery life. THAT is amazing. It's also a little pricy but i got it as a gift so it was great.

After a year it decided to stop work

    • Written by from New Orleans

I bought this mouse and it worked perfectly for me then a little over a year after (370 days later) it stopped working. I could only click but it would not move on my screen. I called apple and they couldn't fix the problem. I'd be cautious with this mouse. Works well but im bummed that it stopped working so suddenly, not even the logitech that i have for over 5 years failed me...

I've used mine for years and love it!

    • Written by from Maple Grove

I was just browsing some of the other reviews. I am surprised at some of the low rated reviews. I have had mine for years and never have Bluetooth connection problems. I will say that the battery drain is frustrating, but I finally switched to rechargeable, which I should have done a long time ago. They are lasting longer, and are not so wasteful. The mouse can be a little touchy and I it takes some getting used to. The curser can jump away on you if you bump it wrong, but such a minor thing. It is sleek and comfortable, and best of all - no annoying cord! I love the multi touch gestures and any time I have to use a standard mouse, I find myself frustrated that the whole world hasn't discovered this mouse yet!

    good but some flaws

    • Written by from STEINHEIM

I love my magic mouse and use it every day, I actually probably have one of the first once so not to sure if they changed the design a bit. One issue I have is with the on and off button as if you are on rough surface or if there is something in the way the muse can be turned off while moving it, especially as the black rubbers ar worn out a bit also it will dirty your table a lot with the black residue from the black rubbers underneath it
