I love this mouse. I owned the first generation wireless mighty mouse as well and was very disappointed with it. This one is a huge improvement and looks great on my desk!

I have tried many types of mice wired, wireless, optical and not...and this one definitely takes the CHEESE. Works great with my MacBook Pro and can be configured to just about any way possible. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone....works especially great when using Pages, Keynote, and Numbers.

    A game-changer!

With the caveat that I've only had my Magic mouse for about 4 days, although I've used it for several hours each day, I've become addicted.

I did like the previous, scroll-ball mice, both wired and wireless, but the mechanical ball eventually collected enough crud - despite cleaning efforts - that it worked unreliably and the beastie was reluctantly retired. But with no moving parts, this "Magic" rodent should have a much longer life. And I was surprised at how fast I got used to using feather-gentle finger-swiping gestures for scrolling.

I think Apple has a Game Changer on its hands.

Magic Mouse Lives Up To It's Name

Truly remarkable, when combined with the bettertouch tool, this mouse can do it all with a click or a swipe, I've got expose, spaces dashboard all on the mouse using one or two finger swipes or clicks.
Its worth every penny, just for getting rid of the roller ball.

This mouse is EXCELLENT! Apple has done it again! The design of this mouse is remarkable and sleek and stylish. The laser tracking is a very unique feature that is easy to adapt to! Way to go Apple! Looking forward to more amazing products.

    Magic Mouse Review

I have had the mouse for a couple days now and its safe to say that I have thouroughly enjoyed it and will continue to do so. It feels great in my hand (note I have medium size hands) even during long periods of time and it looks great as well. If you have the $69.99 and do not have a higher level mouse, the magic mouse is a great buy.

    Great Mouse, Just Feels Right.

I went and picked this up to replace an old Mighty Mouse with a broken scroller, and I've been blown away by how amazing it is. I love the momentum based multi-touch scrolling. The mouse is way better than any other wired or bluetooth mouse on the market. Would recommend to anyone.

I love this mouse! The is beautiful and works. I have had no problems with bluetooth connection nor, as the author of "Just a few sandwiches short of a picnic," do you need any third party app to get your scrolling or right clicking to function. (Granted the side buttons, the ones you squeeze, are gone) You do, however, have to update your Mac Wireless Mouse software to the most current version, which is easily accomplished by using the Mac Updater.

    Best Mouse Ever

Honestly, this is the best mouse I've ever used. I use Pro Tools and Logic on a daily basis, and it makes my workflow so much better. The scrolling works great. Also, the right click is crucial for me and it's nice to be able to do that without having to push control. Highly recommended!

At first I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. But after a couple days I ended up loving it. I think its the greats accessory to a computer that has been made. Just incase you guys buy it and it doesn't work, you have to have snow leopard to use all its functions. I learned that the hard way. Other than that SWEETNESS!!!

    Best mouse for hand problems

I absolutely love this mouse. With all of the touch sensitive gestures requiring so little actual movement of the mouse on the desk, my hand problems bother me much less. I am very happy with this product. I now find myself toting it around with my gear instead of using the portable type I used to keep with me. Great product so far (about 2 weeks of use at present).

This is the first Apple brand mouse that I can truly love. It has everything that previous Apple mice lacked. It looks, and acts like a real Apple product. Previous mice all seemed to be just so-so in terms of cool and functionality. This is the first one that ROCKS!

By itself it is amazing. If you buy one or have one now, seriously consider getting MagicPrefs, a free control panel that enables your Magic Mouse to sit up, roll over, jump though hoops. (vladalexa.com) So far they can't get it to fetch the newspaper off the porch, but with frequent updates, i'm guessing that is coming soon.

My only (very small) complaint is that it doesn't like being dropped on hard tile floors. Carpets and wood floors are OK, If it hits the floor just right the aluminum shell bends and traps the top the next time you click.

Since the mouse is glued together with LOTS OF GLUE, there is not a good way to take it apart. Yes, you can get it apart, that is fairly easy. The only problem is the stuff that breaks when you do. So putting it back together is problem. But, only if you expect it to actually work when you are done.

So, when I click on send, I'm headed for the Apple Store to get a replacement. I can't live without the gestures, the cool looks and all the rest. I've broken mice before, but never replaced one with the same model before. Its that good.

    Fantastic, but slightly awkward.

The mouse overall was very simple to setup and connect to my computer (the iMac). I love the look of the mouse, and all of its features; but the feel leaves a bit to be desired. In my personal opinion, the way that my fingers rest on it feels a bit awkward. It feels weird for my fingers to be spaced out the way they are. Maybe it's just because i have large hands. Overall, it is a fantastic product and i highly recommend it!

Out of the box, onto the desk, quick download of the Wireless Mouse Software Update and I'm up and running. Terrific responsiveness, the touch interface works really well.

I feel like I'm using something from the future.

Ive had it for about a week now and love it.
the scrolling is a lot more precise, though it does take getting used to.
but once you get a feel for it, you love it.
having only a right and left button with the scroll is really all you need.
the only downside is the bluetooth connection.
if it crashes, you'll need to hook up another mouse to get into the settings to get it going again, but that would only happen during a power outage and if you shut it off.

I was afraid to purchase a mouse from Apple since the reviews for the previous version - Mighty Mouse - were terrible. This mouse is so user-friendly and the settings are easily adjustable - tracking was slow until I learned how to adjust the mouse settings in system preferences on my MacBook Pro. Now the mouse is super easy and really fast. It's perfect.
