    Mouse Works Great

    • Written by from Dallas

It would appear that all the "professional" mouse users really don't know what they are doing. I have used this mouse for years with no problems what so ever. I'm buying another just for fun.

I was sceptical about buying this mouse. I read a lot of good and a lot of bad reviews. Then i decided to buy it and now I love it. (only had for 20 mins) so far so good will see how it performs later on.
    Thank you apple!

    Pleased

    • Written by from Indianapolis

I am very pleased with this mouse. Very slim and feels good in your hand. I work on my MacBook Pro and having all the gestures available at your finger tips combined with expose makes only having 1 screen amazing. Bring up multiple desktops with documents on each, and just flip through all of them. I have only been using mine for 2 weeks now but battery still says 100%.

    Works Beautifully!

    • Written by from Mount Juliet

This is hands down the best mouse I have ever used. The multi-finger gestures are an amazing time saver. My favorite thing is I have not found a flat surface it doesn't handle perfectly. I have used it on a distressed wood table, polished wood table, leather couch, comforter.... Just amazing!

I love my Magic Mouse. It took me a little while to get used to the low-profile design but I adapted to it fairly quickly. It's beautiful and goes along with my Apple Keyboard very nicely. Best mouse I've ever had. I love how it's a multi-touch surface too. Apple made an amazing mouse.

    BEST MOUSE EVER!

    • Written by from Lake Stevens

I was pretty skeptical at first because of all the negative reviews I had read, but I bought one anyway, and I am VERY glad I did! I do not understand what people are talking about when they say that the mouse is "jittery" maybe it is the date of their hardware? I have a late 2012 MacBook Pro and this mouse works flawlessly!

    I love this thing!

    • Written by from Cincinnati

After trying every kind of mouse and trackpad available, I keep going back to the Magic Mouse. I can't explain it, but for some reason the combination of the total freedom of a movable mouse, combined with the incredibly sensitive surface that accepts whatever gesture I like, using however many fingers, is absolutely the easiest user interface I've ever encountered.
I have one I use at home, another I take on the road, and since they are wireless, they just get tossed wherever they are needed.

Another bonus is the fact that they are fairly sparing of batteries, even when left turned on all the time

I just keep two rechargeable AA batteries in a charger plugged in nearby, and when the mouse batteries get low, I swap them for the ones in the charger. No sweat, and of course I have some regular alkaline AA batteries around if needed.

    Mighty Mouse

    • Written by from New York

Bought this mouse after a lot of deliberation and I must say that despite all the negative comments about battery life and poor wifi connectivity, this beautifully crafted instrument does the job for me. I mostly use the mouse for day to day work, which includes a lot of work on excel and I have personally never faced any of the problems mentioned in the reviews.

    Very good mouse

    • Written by from Cantonment

I have had this mouse for around a year now and am very pleased with it from all aspects:

Super accurate in both the mouse pointer and the touch pad on top.
Very convenient to use a touch pad instead of a click wheel.
I've had no pain in the wrist while using it, just hold your hand over it properly as
    demonstrated in the product video.
The battery life is awesome, only had to change it once all year.
Being wireless keeps the desk looking clean!

    Magic Mouse

    • Written by from Roanoke rapids

Recently purchased this product for my macbook pro to use when Im at work for the ergonomic comfort it offers vs the built in track pad. Looks great and operates seemlessly, the slim profile makes it easy to travel with. If you use a desk top computer I would recomend looking for a larger mouse that your hand can naturally curve around though.

The best mouse ever. Hands down

    • Written by from Monroe

I read the reviews for this purchase, honestly to many. I read some reviews, people were complaining of "hand cramps" "mouse's edges were to sharp" things of this nature. Well I bought the mouse due to the overall love for the mouse, and I am glad I did. This mouse is fantastic. It's makes everything so streamline, smooth, easy to operate. The whole time I used the mouse initially I was kicking myself in the rear wondering why I didn't buy the thing from the start. It was made for mac just like the wireless keyboard I bought with the mouse. I've had a mac for two years and I've been using the "walmart special" mouse and keyboard with it. Just don't people really just don't , buy the mouse and keyboard you'll love yourself in the long run. These people complaining of hand cramps and all that other non sense. Well people thats just the general public, worthless. I highly recommend the mouse and keyboard if you don't have it.

    Excellent

    • Written by from Kolkata

Apple Magic Mouse is very nice mouse. I bought for my 15" MBP. I used several wireless mice, including Microsoft Arc Mouse and the gaming mouse.

Apple Magic Mouse is a piece of art and will stay with time. From the battery compartment to the chassis all matches with 15" MBP and crafted with care. I use the mouse for ~15 hours per day. Duracell gives me 15 days lifetime service. I can not say its very low battery life.

Weight is heavier primarily due to Duracell batteries. The casing and packaging is excellent.

I expect from Apple to design the battery themselves packaged within the mouse and rechargeable via Mac instead of usual method of using AA batteries.

It fits my expectation of a mouse

    • Written by from Portland

When I purchased my iMac, I opted to get the trackpad instead of the mouse based on the reviews I read here. I am a first time Mac user.

Maybe I am not the power user I once was, or I just don’t realize what I am missing with 3rd party software – since I didn’t download any for this mouse to work. Maybe I just use the Track Pad for those gestures people seem to miss?

Tracking is really precise; however, I have found out why some people may have trouble – the laser eye is at the forward end of the mouse. If you try to make precision movements by manipulating the bottom portion of the mouse but the top portion is not moving much – then it feels as if your mouse is not tracking. Easy solution is to make sure you are manipulating the mouse, don’t just pivot the bottom.

I don’t know what mouse pad that other person was using, no snags with my mouse.

I grab my mouse and place both fingers on it, like a traditional mouse. I don’t have the problem as some do with inadvertent scrolling. In fact, I can keep my middle finger on the mouse, and still use my index finger to scroll.

There is no one size fits all, sorry – but this mouse is not uncomfortable for me.

Its a mouse, it works like a mouse, only better

It's interesting when there is a learning curve on products that you have used for years, people seem to hate change. The mouse has 30 plus years, changing very little from a two or three button design, I feel the latest addition was in the 90's with the addition of the scroll wheel. Queue 2009 - the apple magic mouse with multi touch.

    Best. Mouse. Ever.

Perfect design, perfect function, great as Bluetooth. I was worried about the swipe functions but now absolutely love them/use them all day at work. This is the best mouse, and if you use the Bluetooth keyboard as well then you are rocking it.

    Great Mouse...

    • Written by from Lake Worth

This mouse is worth every penny, the gestures work very well and are very precise and its battery life is good.

The only thing that I could complain about is the lack of gestures like many other users have said. That being relevant, an app called MagicPrefs can let you customize gestures and even add more gestures to do basically whatever command you would like...I really don't know why Apple did not include these customization options with their own drivers.

I suggest anyone having issues with the lack of customization in gestures or custom 'clicks' should go and download MagicPrefs...you will be surprised at what you can do and how AWESOME really the Apple Magic Mouse is.

    Pleasantly surprised

    • Written by from Wilsonville

After years of bad luck with every apple computer accessory under the sun. They've finally got it right. Totally surprised but this mouse always stays connected via blue tooth, has long battery life and simply works. Sure its not the most ergonomic mouse on the planet and it takes some getting used to but once you get past that its awesome. Thank you apple... Now its time to revamp your wireless keyboard because that one is still on my fail list.
