    Fantastic Mouse

    • Written by from Columbia

Superb Tracking, Outstanding build quality, gesture recognition is spot on. Bluetooth distance is plenty. Cant say anything negative about this product. When compared to other products of similar and not as good a build quality as the same price point, this is a good deal.

    Brilliant

    • Written by from West Wickham

I am of the age where I am considered a senior citizen but everything you guys produce just makes me know that whatever you come up with there is no age limit. This mouse is fantastic, I just wish I was thirty years younger then I won't miss out on what you gonna do in future. I love my Apple mighty mouse, and that coming from a reserved Brit is no mean statement.

I have Two of these (mice) both work Great one for my iMac one for my mac book pro they both work GREAT I checked out some of the other reviews I have to disagree with the negative ones I bought the rechargeable batt. but I really don't change them that often
also they are not that slow and I use mine at least 6 hours a day I only had one of them drop out and I had to wait for it to reconnect to the mac once not bad... But I like Apple products

    Wicked Mouse

    • Written by from Hampstead

This is simply the best mouse I've ever used. Multi-Touch is wicked (would be nice if it did all the gestures that the MacBook Air trackpad does, but still its wicked). The price is a little high for a mouse but it is on par with other bluetooth mice that pale in comparison.

    I like it!

    • Written by from Lakewood

It took a few days to get used to. But once I kept using it, I loved it even more. It fits nice in my hand, it plays well with photoshop and lightroom and I can edit photos all day with no problems. As for batteries, I use Eneloop from Sanyo, those are the best. I have had it for 3 months and no problems yet. It does cost $70.00 so I hope it holds up.

Magic Mouse - yes, it is all that!

    • Written by from Berne

This is the first Apple computer I have ever purchased - we purchased over 50 PC's over the years for our business. I purchased the MacBook Pro with Magic Mouse. It is amazing. It does take a little to get used to as it works differently than other mouses. However, the ability to scroll, swipe, etc. is so amazing. Once you get used to it, it is very efficient and allows you to get your work done quicker. I love the mouse!

    Best mouse in 20+ years

    • Written by from Pietermaritzburg

I have been using mice for over 20 years. This is hands-down the best ever. Combine it with
    - dwellclick
    - jitouch
    - bettertouchtool
and you can double-click with a simple flick of the index finger, activate mission control and clear the view to show the desktop, etc, and TAP to click.
And the mobee charger takes it to the next level - even in respect of pointer sensitivity.
AND - one more thing - THANK YOU Apple for tweaking the mouse acceleration in Lion, at least when using this mouse. You have found the sweet spot, please do not change it in Mountain Lion.
There was a rumor a while back that Apple was discontinuing this mouse in favour of the Magic Trackpad. I read on Macrumors that there was a run on this mouse at all of the Apple Stores as a result. I tell you, I am seriously contemplating stocking up on this baby in case something happens ...

My first review after using 2.5 days

    • Written by from Halifax

I have been using this mouse for 2.5 days, 8 hours heavy use per day. Now it shows me 97% which is good.
It is little small in terms of height but length and width are good even for little bigger hands. I feel something is missing under my palm and there is not place to rest your thumb.

Not sure if it is only my problem or any one else's but some times it tries to switch between full screen applications when I want a simple switch between web pages in Safari.

I know with two finger swipe, it switches between full screen apps ad once my palm is on top of the mouse, it treats as a 1-fnger then when I try to swipe with my index finger, it takes the whole as a 2-finger swipe.
The 1-finger scrolling is good but in some cases, you have to click on a window then scroll. Keep in mind that the window is already active and is in front.
For example, after I finish writing this, I want to click on the stars above to rate it but it didn work. I had to click somewhere else then back to the starts

I am going to user for another week or two then I will have a better idea.
I highly recommend this mouse to all Apple fans.

    Magic Mouse Review

    • Written by from montreal

I have had the mouse for a couple days now and its safe to say that I have thouroughly enjoyed it and will continue to do so. It feels great in my hand (note I have medium size hands) even during long periods of time and it looks great as well. If you have the $69.99 and do not have a higher level mouse, the magic mouse is a great buy.

    LOVE it but tracking slow..

    • Written by from League City

I love the magic mouse! You get used to using it within minutes of using it and it works on virtually any surface! My only complaint is that the highest tracking speed is still rather slow. Otherwise it is wonderful!

    Excellent Function and Design

    • Written by from San Antonio

As a user of Lion, I would say that the magic mouse or trackpad is a must-have input device for the Apple desktop user. If you're using older input peripherals like a normal or mighty mouse, or perhaps something else, you're either in for a frustrating experience, or you are seriously hampering the capabilities of Lion and all other future Apple OS updates. Touch/Gestural control is the future. If you're pis'd about the loss of arrows in your scrollbars when you upgraded to Lion, get this magic mouse, and get over it. The difference is like night and day.
