Big hand - no way to run.

    • Written by from Minsk

My hand is not so small and thus this mouse (that flat as xxxx) is not for me at all.
P.S. And drivers.. - turtle speed without extra "Magic Mouse" software initially?! Are you kidding us?

    Batteries don't last

    • Written by from Newburgh

I've had this mouse and computer for 4 months. Today I again needed to replace the battery. I've gone through 3 sets of batteries in 4 months. I don't use this for work as I'm retired. I give up. Back to corded mouse for me.

    Best Apple Mouse Yet

    • Written by from Plymouth

I love this mouse! I have been looking for a mouse that is big enough and comfortable for me since most wireless mice are small and I have pretty big hands. I am also a graphic designer and this mouse works perfectly for me I have had no problems making anything with it.

Do not buy the apple mouse

    • Written by from Vancouver

My parents bought me an apple computer with a wireless mouse.
    The computer is outstanding.
The mouse is useless. It goes threw batteries like crazy.
It is also very badly designed it is very uncomfortable for my hand when I use it.

    incredible!

    • Written by from petitcodiac

I was fortunate enough to have an awesome man at Jump+ demonstrate the majority of the gestures this mouse is capable of. it is so easy to use, and I can honestly say it is the best mouse I've used. I also love that it is not too chunky of a mouse, and the battery seems to keep for quite some time ( if you remember to turn it off, of course!) Very impressed, would recommend.

    Watch out for the ergonomics

    • Written by from Lilburn

At first I really liked this mouse, but eventually I found I needed to hold/move the mouse with a great deal of space under my hand unsupported. The tingling in my fingers told me to switch to something a bit more ergonomic.

Feels as good as it looks!

    • Written by from New Canaan

I LOVE this mouse! It feels so good, and it moves around so freely. I got the mouse with my 2013 retina mbp, and I have never regretted that buy. (Actually I got it for free, due to the black friday deal.) Also, the touch controls are amazing, and flawless. This is one of the better Apple purchases I've made, and I reccomend this mouse to people who are looking for a good, effecient mouse.

    They finally nailed it!

    • Written by from San Francisco

I have used every Apple mouse over the past 15 years, and plenty of 3rd party mice from Logitech, Microsoft, and others. I'm happy to say that with the new Magic Mouse they have finally struck the balance between comfort, usability, and beauty. I don't use a mouse pad, and the Magic Mouse tracks quickly and precisely sitting on my desk directly. The low-profile form makes it very comfortable to use, as I am able to keep my hand in a natural position with the base of my hand resting on the desk.

The scrolling is incredibly smooth, left and right clicks work great, and the gestures for forward and back pages make it a real pleasure to use. It takes a little getting used to coming from a different mouse, but it soon became extremely natural, whether I'm surfing web pages or even precision editing with Photoshop.

The clean and modern "buttonless" design is elegant and unassuming, even changing the batteries is frictionless.

    Excellent despite many dubious reviews

    • Written by from Bentonville

I spent the better part of an afternoon browsing reviews on this mouse, and saw many complaining of the mouse being unusable or uncomfortable. I finally went to Best Buy and picked one up, and I have to say, I absolutely love it. In fact, I'm typing this on the wireless keyboard I was researching as well. I'm very impressed with both devices and I highly encourage those on the fence about it to go and try one at Best Buy or an Apple store, you won't be disappointed!

P.S. the right click works perfectly for me! I was worried about Apple for a minute reading these reviews, but they clearly have hit it out of the park again, very intuitive device!

Think I'm going to return it

    • Written by from San Antonio

Bought this "magic mouse" yesterday. I don't see our feel the magic. I'm 5'6" and my hands are of average size but I find this mouse still too small for my hands. I also like the option of a clicker scroll, either this doesn't have click as an option or I haven't located it yet. To compensate for the absence of the clicker I've adjusted the sensitivity to minimal as any unavoidable contact with the surface of the mouse causes the cursor to move. In support of this mouse it does have a lot of other swipe between pages and stroll functionality but I find that useless if the cursor doesn't stay where you need it. I'm going to give it another day or two but my initial evaluation is that it's not for me.

    Amazing!

I love this mouse. I just got it two days ago but I can already tell that this will be my favorite mouse of all time. I just wish it had more gestures for productivity. This mouse is really comfortable to use. I am really glad that I purchased this mouse. Definitely pick this mouse up when you get the chance.

    WORST Mouse EVER

    • Written by from cary

First the only positive I see is that its very sleek looking, But looks are pointless if the product is unusable.
The mouse is the most uncomfortable piece of tech Ive ever used. It is painful on my large hands and it so slow it make playing games or doing any kind of quick work impossible. I got it with my new iMac and I threw it in a box and got a logitech that is much quicker and more precise. I love apple but this mouse is a dud

    Excellent product!

I am not sure what the negative reviews are about but this is an excellent product and works great with my MBA. I use it on a hard desk surface and have not any issues with friction and I also adjusted tracking in the preferences to my liking.

    functions but immense wrist pain

    • Written by from Washington

I've had this mouse for over a year now. It still functions as it should, but I have developed wrist problems from using it. Specifically, after several hours of use, my wrist becomes sore and starts making horrible cracking sounds. If you have wrist problems, this probably is not the mouse for you.

Very good mouse for Macbook pro!

    • Written by from Monterey Park

I LOVE this mouse! I feel like it works great with my new Macbook pro with Retina Display. I read some of the other reviews on how the mouse would disconnect with the bluetooth on the computer, but I haven't had that problem occur it. I'm not sure if it will happen later on or not, but I have had the mouse for like 3 weeks and I feel its great. Its so easy and multipurpose. One thing i like is that you don't need a mouse pad! I don't know about you guys, but when i use a mouse pad it takes up like half the space on my desk. But this magic mouse doesn't need one! So convenient. Just a great mouse to use and play with.

    This mouse is Sexy!

    • Written by from Louisville

Don't know any other way to put it. It is curved in all the right places... I looked at it and thought uh oh.. no scroll wheel... but then I tried playing with it. Scroll wheel NOT needed... you can simply swipe the top of it like an iPhone and iPad.

Personally this is the best mouse I have ever experienced... and I suspect apple will eventually top it... they are good at that. But until then no one makes a better mouse!

    Useless - Way Too Slow

    • Written by from New York

Even at the most sensitive and highest power settings the Magic Mouse is far too slow to be used. I had to revert to my Logitech because the Magic Mouse's tracking speeds were so slow. No matter what adjustment I made, It never was a usable mouse. IF there was just an adjustment that could make the tracking speed reasonable but there isn't

Mine Now sits in a box, ( nice box, the packaging is good ) I used it for about a week, and could not stand it anymore, Horrible Product.

    Mouse won't behave

    • Written by from Scotts Valley

This mouse came with my new iMac that I bought 2 weeks ago. I'd tried wireless mice years ago and hated them because everything kept zipping around, so I went back to a wired mouse. Thinking I should get with the 21st Century and maybe technology has improved, I let my beloved wired mouse go with my old computer. Big mistake. I'm a writer/editor and I do lots of highlight-cut-paste. I'd try to highlight something and the mouse jerked to another part of the page. Or a different page. Or went whizzing up and down pages. I'd try to read an article on-line and the page kept jiggling up and down or it would open another page. I called AppleCare twice. First time the tech had me uncheck all the Mouse items in Systems Preferences and set the mouse to Slow. Still misbehaved.

On the 2nd call the tech said my Magic Mouse seems to be a "scroll mouse" that's going to scroll no matter what I want to do. Since I want to use it like a wired mouse, why not get one? "Does Apple still sell wired mice?" I almost wept with relief. "Yes," he assured me, "In any Apple store."

    So bye-bye wireless mouse.

    Good but dissapointing

    • Written by from Troy

I have used another brand of wireless mouse forever, and I miss the comfort and style and ease of use.
I have been using the new Magic Mouse for about six weeks now, which means I have gotten use to the difference. That was big at first but once I got use to the tracking difference and everything, I don't notice the difference that much, except for one big problem.
I may be the only one in the world that has this problem, but when I left click something and drag it to drop it in a folder, the dang thing unclicks and I drop it in the wrong folder way too often. In other words, you have to hold the left mouse button down very firmly and make a conscientious effort not to let go until you are ready, then let go. With the other brand it did not require "thinking" to click and make extra effort to hold the button down.
