I love this little product! It is so small and so handy. I have a Mac mini and an iPod touch 2nd generation. Before I got this product, I had to charge my ipod almost everyday. That meant turning on my mac, even when i'm NOT using it. I hate to waste energy. Now, since I got this charger, i don't have to turn on my mac. I hate the price tag though, but it is a wonderful charger! I recommend it to everyone! I'm going to buy another one for my son. He has the latest nano.

Very small, works with iphone 3g very well, works with new ipods. Finally its the best power adapter.

My cousin let me use this adapter with my ipod nano 2nd generation it worked really well and she has had it for awhile and she said it works really good
I give this product a thumbs up !!!!!!!
PS. I hope it works for ipod touches though !!!!

I've used this so much because it came with my I-phone 3G. It is great and easy to tuck away but that makes it really easy to lose if its not always in an outlet. The price is a little high but if you constantly use your I-pod and don't have a I-home it is so much easier to use instead of using your computer to charge it.

An overall great product. I love that it comes with a cable as it seems like so many devices don't these days. Having the extra USB cable is not only handy for charging it but has saved me a few other times as well when I've misplaced the one I generally use to sync my iPod Touch with my computer.
Size is a major plus on this, it can easily be tucked away for travel.
The only down side to me is probably the price. $29 just seems a bit high for a power adapter considering you can get another brand cheaper but I like to stick with Apple products so it's worth it.50 of 58 people found this useful

I would actually give this product a 4 1/2 but that wasn't an option. I have charged the iPod Nano 3rd Generation, iPod Nano 4th Generation, and the iPod Touch 2nd Generation on this device (actually the older one) It works flawlessly, I have never had huge issues. My one complaint is that after you disconnect your iPod (especially on the chromatic) it says it's almost fully charged, then if you put a song on and look back a couple minutes later, your battery is almost empty, not so much fun. Mind you, it doesn't do this all the time. I love that you can sit on your couch or whatever, listen to your iPod, while charging it.

The best thing about this charger is its size. Nice & small which translates into something that's great to travel with. The cable is short, but long enough to do its job, which makes it a very friendly traveler too.

blew out 2 IPODS with charger

All i know is that as soon as I charged my ipod classic with the wall charger it will no longer take a charge and boot up. I sent back my ipod and got a replacement and it did the same thing with the replacement after using charger. Conclusion. Will not use this charger again.

this is great so you wont have to hook up your ipod to the computer everytime it needs charging....i want to know why they dont give you these with the ipods anymore.when i got my ipod classic a few years ago this came included but not anymore... anyways it is still a great product:)

for those of you who do not understand
converting 120V AC to USB power levels (approx 3-5V DC) is not an easy feat.
Doing this in an 1" x 1" x 1" cube that generates NO HEAT is by far the single most impressive piece of technology apple sells.
Digital switched power converters are expensive because they are complicated.

As one positive reviewer said - "ALL plug in phone chargers are a rip off." Sort of a weak defense, but all apple customers really ought to own apple stock to justify the steep premium you pay for these products.
Once you get over that (cmon - $30 really?)its a necessary product that you will find very useful and nice to have. Excellent form factor.
