Works as advertised and so I give it five stars. A necessary item, but rather pricey. And small; being as such, and me being a dunderhead, I've already misplaced it.

i bought this adapter at radio shack for $39.99, and found it for ten dollars less on here, but it works well. charges my ipod fast

This new USB power plug works marvelous. It's super small and convenient. However it's only good for the countries it's made for. The "Apple" adapter's I have for my travels is useless with theses. I suppose I will have to take my old firewire plug I got with my 3rd gen iPod.

One of kind first time I have wanted to show of a power brick(power dice maybe better wording) in the world with scary power bricks sometimes approaching the size of the device (cough xbox 360) its good to see some companies care about the little things.

Has the same output (1 Amp) as my larger charger I bought. Comes with the $20 cable too! If you admire Apple's style, you'll love this too.

I am very pleased with this product it is very compact and is perfect if you travel a lot. Everyone keeps complaining about how expensive it is, but you get an extra usb cord plus it is pretty small

I have both the adapter with foldable prongs and this one. Although the other adapter is easier to place in my bag without fear of damage thanks to the folding prongs, it covers outlets on crowded power strips. This adapter addresses that issue nicely, being the size of a standard two-prong plug.
I use this in places like entertainment systems where it is perpetually plugged in and fits on my power strip without covering outlets and interfering with other plugs.

The best thing I can say about it is that it is nice and compact. However the cable provided with it is much too short. Also, would it kill Apple to mention the power specs and requirements of the adapter somewhere on the product page!? I'd go a step further and say it's extremely irresponsible not to. If you look closely at the tiny print on the face of the unit, you'll see that the adapter will work with an input voltage of 100-240 volts. This means you do NOT have to buy a voltage converter to use the charger in foreign countries although you may need an adapter to fit the type of electrical socket used.

i really like this adapter mostly because of its size and ability to charge almost any usb device but, i really wish the prongs would up like the older ones =D

why wouldn't u buy dis. cmon people 25.00 dollars top. i tell u one thing it beats buying a 50.00 dollars wall adapter. and it's easy to carry and hold. buisness trip just take it in ur pocket or something. going on the train just take it with you and plug it in on the train.dont be so cheap.

I received one of these in with my iPhone 3g package. It is very small and compact. It fits well on a power bar in between other plugs i.e. its not big and bulky and therefore doesn't take the space of 2 or 3 outlets on the bar due to its size. Having said that for what it is it is stupidly over priced. I would not own one of these had it not been included with the iPhone.

for those of you who say this is an overpriced product you may be right i'd say this is about 20 dollars but it is an must have if you travel alot. especially if you don't have a computer present just a laptop, very very small.. great that it comes with a cable to

Great product and love the size. It's great to have this instead of having to carry around a computer to wherever you are going just to charge your iPod. But $30? It only costs $5-$10 to make the thing and other companies sell it for $10. Good product overall, but way overpriced.

I know it cost like $2-4 dollars to make but that's life. It's an Apple product, you didn't buy the device because it was inexpensive, you bought it because it was awesome. I think it is so cool they got it to be so small, even at the expense of the folding plug. If you don't want to pay $30 for it then go buy an aftermarket one that will last half as long, and stop complaining.

I purchased this charge at my local apple store and I am very impressed with it. It charges fast (faster than the other one apple sells) and easy to pack up for trips, getaways, etc. I would recommend this charger for anybody who uses their on a daily basis or need a quick charge.
