    Tempramental

Seem to be having major issues getting this to work. It is very tempramental - doesn't work in certain sockets and then works in others. Don't like it at all.

    Intermittent at best

Got one with my 3gs. Seems to randomly decide whether or not it's going to charge the phone.

The same USB cables work fine when plugged into the PC.

Perhaps there is some sequence you must follow?

Company I work for switched to i phones for a company phone. Phones are great but more than half of the chargers we got you have to mess with for ten to twenty mins before you can get them to charge. Charges right away with a computer.

Need 2 more feet to the cable cord at least!!!

It says it is 4 feet long. Feels like 2 feet. Sometimes I just wanna lay in bed plugged in using the usb power adapter and it is waaaaaay too short. Other iPhone people have said the same thing. I'm on here looking for a longer one. Mine already looks ready to break. And OMG 30 dollars for this? Maybe I'm thinking too Walmart or something. Seems too expensive but what do I know. I'm so in love with iPhone 3GS I try to overlook the shortcomings

Looks great but doesn't work that way

Just received two brand new I-Phones 3GS for my wife and me. Have not found out how the chargers work yet. Sometimes they charge, sometimes they don't. You have to unplug and re-plug them several times from the power outlet before they start working, and they do that on all power outlets in the house.

    It is what it is!

Yeah 30$ might be steep, but your getting the power adapter and, and the USB cable. The cable alone is 20$ so your really only paying 10$ I cant complain I've had my iPhone for a year and a half now, and I am just now having to replace anything on it. Apple is a very reliable company, and you most definitely get your money's worth, but if you cant afford it just call the apple support line and they will replace it just like any warranty claim. You will have to return the broken device.

READ THE FINE PRINT - Don't buy an extra cable!

Understand that you need not buy another USB cable - there is one included with the adapter. It just cost me an extra $19 to learn THAT lesson.

Expensive, but you get what you pay for...

I recently lost mine and was about to buy a new one, but it turns out it went through the washer and dryer. I let it sit for a few days, then plugged it in, and it was fine. You should use extreme caution if you are going buy one from a 3rd party. I am sure BestBuy, Amazon, etc are OK, but there are a lot of listings online that claim original apple charger and they are chinese knock-offs that look exactly the same. The bad news with them is that they are built poorly and smell / stop working after a short period of time. If you need a new charger, I suggest you just use your computers USB port, or pay the $30 for one you know is apple brand.

    ! Best i-pod wall charger !

    Apple does it again!
This charger is compact, durable and most importantly wont fry your i-pod or i-phone.
It comes with a small usb cord (about 3 ft long) and the adaptor is so small you don't need any folding prongs.
Beware of other brands of chargers.
They are famous for only working part of the time and/or frying your i-pod/i-phone.
