    Most work

    Bought 30 Mac Mini's and VGA adapters for school lab. 2 display have purple screens only under student account and proper screens under admin account. Settings for both accounts the same. Have 2 other displays showing only purple color icons in dock only.

    26 others are okay.

    Swamp cables, reset cables, monitors, etc.

    It's only 3 inches long!

    I'm sure this item would work if it were longer. The cord is only 3 inches long. I wanted to use it to connect my laptop to my TV (to watch Hulu and whatnot), but it's not even close to long enough to use for such a thing. I'll be returning it pronto.

    Useless

    Lovely piece of mac engineerng. And I'm sure it works.

    IT DOES HOWEVER NOT FIT THE 13 INCH MAC AIR. Which is the entire reason I purchased it. Save yourself some hassle, and go into the store with your mac air, and make sure it fits before buying it. Skip buying it online, since they obviously can't be bothered to make sure they send you the correct items.

    this product works well but then over time and transport breaks down . i have to bend it every which way until the colors on my VGA monitor are normal.

    Really good product worth buying.

    I bought this product for my macbook to use for some projects and presentation. I have used this product many times and it has not failed me yet. It is well worth the $20. I would recommend this product to anyone. The other guy who reviewed this just didn't adjust their contrast.

    DON'T BE MISLED BY THE INACCURATE REVIEW - ADAPTER WORKS WITH ALL!!

    The other reviewer had a problem adjusting the resolution on his machine to match his plasma display. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ADAPTER! The adapter does NOT affect the display resolution! It has no processor on board of any kind, it is a simple wire that acts as a conduit between the machine and the display. ANY PROBLEMS THAT THE REVIEWER WAS HAVING WAS WITH THE DISPLAY SETTINGS, AND HAS *NOTHING* TO DO WITH THE ADAPTER. This is a great adapter and has worked extremely well for me for many years with many different machines and displays. Again, don't be misled by an uninformed review. The adapter does what it's supposed to do: transmits between the machine and the display (it can't adjust your display for you, or give you a tutorial on how to do it:).

    Works well but breaks down

    I've had this cable for about 2 years. It works fine with several LCDs and projectors I have connected it to, but becomes loose internally and doesn't make good contact, so the screen turns purple, etc. Not so rugged.

    Works for all the VGA-only devices we've tried

    Works for us with all the digital projectors we've come across. However, whenever possible, use Apple's Micro-DVI to DVI adapter instead. Most higher-end monitors have a DVI input in addition to (or instead of!) a VGA input, and using the DVI avoids converting to analog and then back, and gives less chance for sync issues.

    Doesnt work with all VGA Monitors

    Bought this to hook my new MACPRO to a VGA Plasma and I am having serious sync issues at all resolutions and frequencies. Extremely frustrating and still looking for a resolution to this.
