    Crisp!

    Written by AR from Ogden

I have never had a set of In-Ear headphones that have stayed in so my expectation was low. After I realized that these ones actually do fit I was even more surprised at how clean the sound is! The seal is so tight in your ear however that it does sound a little odd when using them for speaking on the phone. (sorta hard to gage how loud you are speaking). I would recommend these if you have the money to do so. Great for listening to music, Odd for speaking on the phone.

    Major let down

Written by SW from scotts valley

These headphones have terrible sound. I just bought them today and honestly, I would rather use the regular headphones that come with the iPods. There is bass, thought little, and the speakers do a good job of muffling exterior noise, but there is no treble or juicy bass. I also have the Bose in-ear headphones, but bought these for the remote. The Bose in-ear headphones are FAR superior...delicious bass and treble for $20 more. All the hype about these headphones is overrated...not worth $80...not a chance.

    Underwhelmed

    Written by PC from Longueuil

Sound is pretty good, and they are comfortable. The silicon ear buds stay flexible and are good at blocking out exterior sound.

But I must say, the build quality of the cabling is pretty bad. The sheaths over the connectors all came unglued and disintegrated after 6 months. It wasn't long after that I lost sound in the right ear-bud. $90 for earbuds that last 8 months? I don't think so.

They are not build for constant use like daily commute or any intense workout. The best is the noise cancellation. I wish they were built to take a good beating.

    Worst Apple Product I've Had

    Written by TW from Keller

    Nov 14, 2009

I bought this set of earphones at the beginning of the year. Within 30 days one of the rubber earbud covers came off. Luckily I found it after a few minutes of searching. However, one or the other covers comes off periodically. Since they are made of rubber they have a tendency to catch onto different things and come off. Now I lost another one have been looking for it since this morning. I am giving up. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.

Lasted 8 months only.... but i'm still going to go buy another pair

    Written by AR from Markham

    Nov 14, 2009

i use them everyday and they stay in my pocket. overall they had a good life span compared to any other headphone. The only problem is the filters get clogged badly in 2 months for me. The problem with mine is the rubber isn't very good and i had duct tape on mine. But i will still go get another pair

(cause of death: right headphone with no audio even with out the mesh cap)

    great headphones

I researched earphones within a similar price range for days before settling on these for my iPhone. I've had them for about 5 months now, and am very happy with them: the sound quality is great, the silicone seal works well to block out background noise, and they are durable (especially if you keep them in the included triangular case). The remote on the earphones is quite convenient if you carry your device in your pocket. The sound quality is leaps above the normal white ones you get, and the price isn't terribly bad. I recommend them.

Good sound but pathetic remote reliability

    Written by SW from Hamilton

    Nov 13, 2009

I bought these ear buds back in the July mainly for the remote control and microphone. I have to admit that the sound and comfort are very good but within a month the remote stopped working and then a couple weeks later the mic stopped. I haven't returned these since I don't know what the warrenty is on the product. Apple - the remote and mic are great when they work, please make them last as they should for this kind of price.

    Not worth the money

    Written by AK from Lafayette

    Nov 12, 2009

First of all the headphones do not generate much bass at all until the volume is turned way up. Secondly, the headphones have to be sitting in your ear at some "perfect" position for you to get even sounds from left and the right headphones. Otherwise one would sound louder. This task actually takes more adjusting than one would think.

The worst part of the headphones is that you can hear the rubbing noise of your headphone wire on anything very loudly over your music. If you are walking or running, you will hear all of the noise that is created by your wires being in contact with anything, even on itself. The noise gets amplified up the wires and to your snug rubbery sealed ear canal then thuds and grinds loudly in your head.

I actually returned this and, I can't believe I am saying this, I actually enjoy the headphones that came with my iPhone 3G.

I just got it today for free! I had the orginal old boring earphones, and the ear piece was coming to come off,so they replaced it for free, and i got the newest earplugs! This is totally awesome! Expect it's not in box,it's just in plastic rapping, and in a cardboard box,but includes all of the same things! It is an awesome product, and I'm looking alot of stuff on the 2 speakers on each pud

    Good headphones

    Written by PA from Ithaca

These headphones have very good sound quality and decent noise canceling. I just really wish apple would make the volume buttons compatible with the iphone 3G. It should be a simple patch, and it baffles me that they haven't done it yet. Overall, very good, just need to correct the compatibility difficulty.

    Very Disappointing

    Written by SS from Somerset

    Nov 11, 2009

Within 1 week of receiving these In-Ear headphones the right earpiece began to cut in and out. Apple replaced them with a new set which worked about a month and the remote stopped working. Apple replaced this set again and within a few weeks the right ear piece began to cut in and out until it finally stopped working altogether. I have several i-pods and the i-phone 3Gs and have always loved apple products but I believe there is either a design flaw or some problem with the manufacturer in China and I cannot recomend this product.

Excellent In-Ear headphones for the price. Way better than Stock Earphones, superb sound isolation. I can really notice the 2 drivers since bass is very noticeable. Very good for the price.

    Much better headphones available

    Written by PG from Calgary

    Nov 9, 2009

I'm a huge apple fan, but this product is not apple-worthy.

    The headphones have
    - low bass response
    - a stiff annoying cord
    - and most annoyingly, don't stay in my ears regardless of the insert size or pressure

All at a price that is twice or more better quality headphones.

    Look elsewhere for now ...

    Overpriced & Underdeveloped

    Written by JP from Bradford

    Nov 9, 2009

The Good: better than the stock buds, nice mic, nice volume and pause control.
The Bad: Silicone buds fall off, no replacements available, friction noises are telegraphed through the wires, pricey, weak bass, boring white. How about some colors?

With common sense, these are amazing.

Written by PT from San Jose

These earphones are simply amazing. I've had these since January this year, and the $80 is completely worth it. The sound is very clear, sporting two drivers (two speakers) per earphone, which you usually find in earphones that are well over $100. If you know how to put these in your ear properly, they will sound amazing. If you casually let them sit like normal earphones, they will not sound better. Even if you put it in halfway properly, you will be able to hear the difference. All the way in, and heaven will be in your ears. They also block out a large amount of sound, given that you put them in properly.

    Pretty Good

Written by DF from Los Gatos

These are great headphones with great sound quality and noise-cancellation, but they often become dirty, so the sound is muffled. This requires removing the outer screen of the earbud and running it under water or soaking it in a cup of water. I have to do this at least once a week. Other than that they are great.
