They work for iPod too!
Written by MM from Bentonville
Jul 6, 2007
Buy these headphones even if you don't have an iPhone. They are very comfortable, and the sound quality is great. Plus they have a feature where you can greatly reduce the volume that make them great for listening to music while conversing with people!

Ear buds Very useful
Written by SH from Glen Cove
Feb 27, 2008
I used them for the nano, ipod, and iphone. They work well. I like the ones for the iphone. They have a mic that I can listen and talk to without taking them out of my ear. After a year, they start to wear down. But they do last a while

Awesome?!
Written by RR from San Jose
Mar 16, 2008
These are great! Had them for 4 months.
If you want something cheap and simple that works on all ipods & on the iphone, use this.
-Sound = 8.5/10 The sound is alright, but could be better.
-Mic = 10/10 People all the time tell me they can hear me very clearly. Better than most who call them. haha
-Controls = 9/10 Took me a while to figure it out, but it can pause & play music. End calls, and change the song. I wish though I could lower and higher the volume.

Best earphone/mic set for the money!
Written by JH from los altos
Mar 12, 2008
I have compared the stock headset with some of the aftermarket ones. This is by far the best fitting, best sounding and cheapest out there. Yes it may not have fancy metal earbuds or super alloys for cones. Yes it may come in fancy colors or custom fittings. But for $29 bucks you get your money's worth. The hidden play/pause/phone button in the mic housing is a pleasant surprise. I'd much prefer an A2DP BT stereo set but, until then, this set will do it for me.

Went through the washing machine....
Written by JD from Hilton Head
Feb 26, 2008
Hm...My bad.
I accidentally sent these through a full wash cycle, and then a high temp drying cycle....and as soon as they came out, they still worked great. Sound quality was the same, mic works fine. I'm not sure why others are saying these are easily broken, but I'm having a really hard time breaking them myself...28 of 38 people found this useful

I love these head phones. The sound is great on them and the microphone works perfectly. I have had better sound from headphones before but those were in ear no on ear so I really have no complaint.

Great headset just ask my cat
Written by SV from redlands

I think this headset is great. The sound is good and people can hear you talking very clear. the only problem I had was that my cat likes them just as much as me and he put a tooth through the right speaker, so now I need new ones.

An added feature that I never knew
Written by EL from Surprise
Nov 9, 2007
Well I knew about controlling calls and putting them on hold and so on....and I also knew about the ability to control ipod functions like skipping, starting and stopping a song, but one feature that I didn't see in the instructions manual or anywhere for that matter is if you press the control button 3 times while in ipod mode it restarts the music back to the beginning the your playlist or song list whichever you may be at that time. Quite cool, what would make this the best would be the ability to repeat only the prior song, but I'll take whatever I can get. EL

It's alot more durable than you think!
Written by CQ from Carson

Hey everyone,
I've been a proud owner of the Iphone since 2007. These headphones came with my Iphone and i was amazed when i found out what it was capable of. The small microphone is very unnoticeable and sturdy. It emits decent sound through the person on the other line. On top of that, i unintentionally left these earphones in one of my jean pockets while i was washing and drying my laundry; soon later i was in shock to find out these earphones still in fact work in all ways possible till this day.
Not bad at all.16 of 19 people found this useful

Okay, so I am reading other reviews about this item... and I totally don't understand why anyone is saying how they don't like them. Geesh! Send yours to me! I love them, sleep with them on with no ear pain at all. And now... they are MISSING! So that is why I am here to purchase some new ones. They work great.

Survived Washing Machine and High Heat Dryer
Written by NP from Culver City
Mar 7, 2009
These aren't the most amazing earphones, but for $29.00, and give the fact
that they can apparently survive a one hour laundry wash cycle, spin cycle, and also a
one hour High Heat Dryer cycle - AND STILL WORK PERFECTLY! - let's say I am not
complaining.16 of 22 people found this useful

too much love to express in a review...
Written by NH from West Haven
Jan 1, 2008
this headset is great. i blew out my original pair because i played music too loud, and with too much bass. i adjusted the EQ, an got a new pair, and have not had a problem since, until.....
i washed my set with my clothes by accident, and thought i had to buy another pair. i remembered reading a review on here about someone doing just that and salvaged the headset by drying them out. didn't really believe it but IT WORKED!! how many headsets can do that?!19 of 28 people found this useful

iPhone Stereo Headset
Depends on the listener, and their ears.
Written by MS from chicago
Sep 24, 2007
I was having issues with the headphone design that Apple claimed are new, and of a better technology. But I found my own solution. If I fit them in my ears correctly(R-to the right ear, L-to the left) the sound quality is poor, and even at the highest volume setting, hearing was an issue, because they way they are to be placed in your ear, the sound is directed to the inner Wall of your ear.I had the idea of switching the buds to the opposite ears and having the silver screen part directed more INTO the ear rather than up against that inner wall part. I found the sound even better, clearer, more defined than most other expensive earphones! I love them now! Give it a try, would love to know what people think. Is it just me?

These are tough as nails
Written by SS from Quincy
Nov 19, 2008
I don't use other earbuds, so I can't say how much better or worse these are in audio quality. But I can attest to their toughness. I just left these earbuds in a shirt pocket by accident. They ran through a washer and dryer. I found them after I hung up the shirt in my closet, and THEY STILL WORK :) I can't believe it. It's awsome.
