Reviews for Apple iPod shuffle Dock

Son's shuffle (Christmas gift) stopped working. I checked the dock, which is the problem; no power. Don't know what happened as it's been plugged in and left alone; not moved. Got maybe 4 charges out of it. This is our first Apple product, and maybe the last?

same story as everybody else, it only lasted 2 weeks. It bent and then would not work, I am very disappointed to find out I have to pay 30 dollars, to me this is a rip off and I would have been better getting a 2gb ipod nano

I cut the dock in half. It has an electronic board inside. So there is more than meets the eye. Maybe, the dock design had to fit the small design of the shuffle. To keep everything small, durability was sacrificed

I was reading alot of reviews of this product and i agree with every single one. the port bends/breaks way to easy and Apple should just make a cable with that piece at the end. My 10lb dog stepped on the dock and bent it...and that aint alot of weight

Someone has got to change this design. Was it never tested? How long until the fix comes along? You can best believe that I will steer everyone I know away from purchasing a shuffle...not because of the main equipment, but due to the dock. Can't wait to go spend $30...AGAIN!

ok well when i first got an ipod shuffle for my birthday i was really excited!!! it has only been three month but already the dock has broken.

It was a chilly afternoon when my mother knocked on my bedroom door, interupting me from reading a good book. I thought she only wanted me to do soem kind of chore which i dreaded doing but what she said had nothing to do with me doing any kind of house work.OH no, it was bad news about my ipod shuffle dock for which i kept in the computer room. I was honestly shocked. I never thought that something of such high quality could break so easily!! So when i walked into the computer room to check it out i found that in truth, my dock thingy(dont now exact name for it, sorry) was bent. i tried fixing it but that didnt work and well, now i have to buy a new one!!i mean really i always thought that apple products were expensive for a reason. But really, how bad did this come out to be??? so now i have to buy a new one with MY money that i have been saving up just in case an emergency happened! so overall i think you should lower the price for the sake of all of us. thank you. :D

I had this dock for about a week before it bent slightly. Even though I was able to pull it back into shape, it stopped working. I spent about an hour on the website (NOT easy to find a replacement) before finding this item in the store. I like my shuffle, but this is ridiculous.

I've been using my shuffle for about 4 months and now the usb device is malfunctioning! I can't charge the darn thing!!! Now, it's going to cost my $30 to replace the port! C'mon Apple....give us a break!

Does any admin read this or something ? firstly I woud like to say that I own the iPOD shuffle second generation and its perfect. However the dock broke verrrrry fast so I needed to replace it I went in ALOT of stores in greece and I couldnt find the dock. I would like to say that 30dollars yes its alot but I dont mind to hand them over cuz the iPOD itself WTFrules. So is it possible to buy this somewhere in greece ?
(but again the dock breaks fast can apple make something better about it ?)
