Reviews for Apple iPod shuffle Dock

I am not sure why there are so many complaints on this product. Mistreatment mostly would be my guess. My wife and I have each had one of these for 3+ years and never a single problem. If you pack it in a bag or case where the pin is vulnerable to damage, you are likely going to have a problem with it. If you use a little care and common sense it will last you the lifetime of your shuffle.

...it's in perfect condition even after 1 1/2 years. Works just fine, no problems at all. I keep my dock near my computer on my desk - out of the way of any mishaps. I'd buy this product again. Now, where can I get some good speakers or a player for my little ipod shuffle?!

I've had my iPod Shuffle for over 3 yrs now, no problem with charging, download or the dock breaking. The only issue is with me:(...I've seemed to misplaced mine. I agree, if you take care of the dock, it will work just fine! My 9 yr old has had the shuffle the same amount of time as I have and hers also works fine!! TAKE CARE OF YOUR THINGS AND THEY WILL LAST LONGER!!!!

I absolutely love my shuffle, and nothing has happened to the dock. I have had it for almost a year now, and it is still working perfectly.

Once again apple comes out with another amazing product. If you don't take care of your things then how do you expect it to stay intact? Put your dock in area it's not likely to get stepped/damaged. It's common sense people. overall very good product and i recommend it to anyone who wants a dock.

How can some say there is a design flaw? That is the way it needs to be, as any other design would need to increase the size of the iPod shuffle itself. I have a shuffle, as does my wife and daughter. Out of three docks, none have "broke" in two years.

I purchased an ipod shuffle and I think its sufficient for what my needs are. Its conveniently small, its not bothersome to carry around, and its just an all around good product.

Not too long ago I did step on the dock and crushed the stem. That was my fault, and it had nothing to do with the quality of the product.

This is the first review that I have ever written, but I felt compelled to defend this product. This dock addresses one of the issues with the original shuffle in that it didn't have a dock and you constantly had to access a USB port. It is much easier to place the shuffle in the dock, update it, and go. Also, I find no issue with the construction of the dock. It sounds like the people in the other reviews were careless with their equipment. Come on people... its not Apples fault you don't know how to take care of your stuff!
