Reviews for Apple iPod nano Dock (2nd generation)

In reality all I wanted was an additional USB cable attachement so I wouldn't have to take my USB cord everywhere... one at home, one at office type of thing. But of course the cable by itself is near impossible to find. So I buy a docking station for home, but it has no USB Cable! The product literature never tells you that it will have to use the original cable to connect it. And while it never says it does come with a new USB connection cable, it certainly reads as if it does. That being said, what is the point of the product? If I have the cable, why do I need the dock station? For the line out? Why? If I am plugged in buy USB cable, I can use the computer speakers. A complete waste of a product. Now I have to fight with Apple to get the situation corrected! Buy at your own risk!!!

This product is awesome! Makes my nano look great on my desk next to my macbook and also doesn't scratch my nano (it's already scratched up like crazy.
The only problem I have with it is that I can't use the apple remote to change songs etc. as it does with the iPod (video or whatever) dock does. If they add that, then it would be the best. Nice and small and compact too!

I just got my I-pod and was looking for a small place to put it and the works great. It is small and really easy to use. I told all of my friends about it and now we all have it in our dorms.

This product is very good and i enjoy using it.It is also hassle free and very convenient.I hope you continue to sell this product because you will make a lot of money .The only thing i wish is that you make it less money.Some people are poor and it took them forever to get an ipod and now it will cost them more money to get a docking station and that is not fair.So please make this product less money by $4.00 my friend would appreciate that since she is very ,very poor but she got an ipod even though it took 3 yrs to save up for it.If this product stays the same amount of money it will take her 2 yrs to save up for it. DONT ALWAYS THINK ABOUT THE RICH START CONSIDERING THE POOR. thank you

For some reason, my ipod nano doesn't fit in this dock. The slot is just a tad off from where it has to be to line up with the slot on my nano. Even the little plastic adapter gadget that came with it doesn't help.
I just bought both nano & dock last week. What to do?

This product is worth the money.
1. It makes your iPod nano look astonishing in your desktop
2. The audio aux output works great when plugging a set of speakers
3. Saves your iPod's back from scratching from your desktop surface

I do recommend the this item for purchase due to the fact that:
1. It allows easier access when connecting the iPod
2. Gives a sense of organization
3. Saves some space
4. Definetly worth the money

People who have a 1st Gen iPod Nano, purhase this item then complain. Have they no common sense? Why would you purchase something not compatible with your iPod?

If you have the money and a 2ND GENERATION IPOD NANO, buy it.

This is a great product. I bought it for my product red ipod and it works great. I like the way the dock makes the ipod stand on a slant. You can play songs from the dock onto a stereo, and charge at the same time. The only thing I don't like is that if your computer is on and the computer plug is plugged into the dock also, the do not disconnect sign comes on and you cannot play music, so you have to eject the ipod from your computer. The dock looks good with any color ipod. Apple should get a black dock for black nanos though.
