    So far so bad

    I bought this last night and it synced real easily. Then I went to run and my iPhone 4 will read it every now and then. All the sudden it pauses my workout. I hate it! I'm going to give it another shot tomorrow and see what happens.

    Almost Useless

    Even with constant calibration after every run, the Nike+ is incapable of providing an accurate distance. I've confirmed the distance I run with several websites, and a calibrated sensor I use on my bike. The distances between the website and the bike sensor are the same. The Nike + sensor was a waste of money. I strongly recommend NOT buying one.

    Unreliable

    It is a cool idea but I do not recommend. After trying all the many different tips and tricks I could find in the manual and on the Internet I still could not get the sensor to connect to my iPhone. I purchased the sensor as I thought it would be fun and motivating but after the frustration of trying to get it to work I decided I would prefer to just go for a run - minus the headache.

    Garbage! Won't work with iPhone 4S

    This will not work with an iPhone 4S. I took it to the mac geniuses and 3 of them couldn't get it to work. We tried everything in the book including several sensors. Many people are having the same problem online. I wouldn't suggest buying it. You can get the Nike+ app for free. Better app and gives you more info. So glad I spent $100 on Nike shoes when this garbage sensor does nothing.

    New sensor doesn't link up

    I've used this product for a few years now but have noticed a decline in the quality of the sensor in recently (I've gone through 4 sensors). I just bought a brand new sensor to go in my Nike running shoes and have only managed to get the sensor to activate 3 or 4 times since (have done at least 20 runs during that time). It keeps saying 'walk around to activate sensor' and never actually links. I've tried to find troubleshooting for this problem on the Apple and Nike + running site without much luck. I'm wondering if it's the battery that ran out while at the store..very frustrating at this was a total waste of money!

    only got it to work once. I was told my ipod had to be stationary. even on the treadmill and my ipod stationary it is not accurate. disappointed.

    ipod touch and nike+

    I have yet to get my runs to upload to the website and no ability to sync. Contacted the help desk but they just indicated that problems had been reported and they were working on it. Probably will go back to Garmin and excel spreadsheet. Tried to use the Nike + Running but I can run the same route and it will be off a mile from the day before. Same response from support desk.... problems have been reported. One star only to get it to post.

    No star

    First day of running paused itself in the middle of workout. Take three tries to restart.
    Second day of running, paused itself again no restart.
    Third day and final chance to make it work before return it to Apple Store, work itself out of my shoes and gotten ran over by a car half way in to my run.

    DON'T BUY!!! Sucker to buy Nike+Ipod

    The sensor link is horrible. There is no way to know that the sensor actually works. Nano and 3GS ask to walk around and I walk around. If It asked me to jump up and down and pat my belly and top of my head, I would probably do that too to see if the sensor activates. I was a sucker to buy this garbage. Nike makes a special hole to place the sensor and makes you pay for it. If it weren't for the fact that Nike shoe, I would never had thought of buying the ipod sensor. Save your money.

    iPod sensor

    I am on my 3rd and the last two I was unable to use because as soon as I went to use it, I got the message that the battery was low! So $60 later, I have a record 2 workouts because that was all I was able to use! I really want to believe in this product and will probably buy another one. I bought 2 at Footlocker and 1 at the Nike store. I know that the sensor is "on" when you buy it. Perhaps the sensor should come in the "off" position so as to preserve the 1000 hours. I am thinking that they sit for so long and then when customers buy them the sensor is off!!

    I love this concept and it really motivated me to keep up my walking program. Help me Apple or...

    Can I get my money back!

    Not worth it

    As someone else pointed out, I'm rarely motivated to write reviews.. but when things are this bad, you feel the need to warn other people. This product is great in concept, but the sensor is inaccurate (even when you calibrate it) and the battery life is pathetic.

    I have had THREE in the last year and they have each only lasted a month or two. I thought it was me.. but apparently it's just a poorly made product. For $20 (plus $10 for the holster), you would expect this to last at least 18 months.. not 2.

    NIke - if you're reading this, you should be embarrassed at the poor quality of this product. Step it up and stop wasting our money.

    sensor continues failure with iOS4

    Worked fine for months., But with IOS4 upgrade stopped syncing/ working reliably. So I bought new one figuring the battery died. Nope. Nike 's app is just brain dead with iOS4 upgrades. Check the NIke website or apple Discussions on recent Nike+ product. There's so much bad mouth that Nike's locked out the discussions.

    Sensor is not recognized

    I had the same problem what I have seen others post...used few times, had it for over a year and suddenly the sensor does not work. It was frustrating and it took me a while to figure out why it is not working. Battery is dead. Why battery can not be replaced? This is not practical. Another scheme to have you spend few more bucks every year.

    NOT WORTH IT!

    I am never motivated to write reviews, but this product is so bad I have to warn others. I bought several sensors, and went back and forth to the apple store multiple times with my two small children. Finally I met with a "genius" at the apple store, believing it could not be multiple sensors - it had to be something I was doing wrong. Well, same old deal - product still does not work. I guess I will be making my final drive back to hopefully get a refund.

    Didnt work at all

    It worked for one run but then stopped. The calories burned didnt add up on the iphone and distance didnt add up as well. I went through 5 of these returning to apple each time. I thought it was the stock they had so I went to another place and didnt work, returned again and next one didnt work. Then I went to apple store to check the iphone, it was all ok. I used another ipod mini that it would work with, that didnt work. People on the Nike+ forums were adiment it worked but after going back and forth the only benefit of the device was that each time I went there to replace I got exercized along the way. If it doesnt work after a few times then just dont worry with it, download any of the free apps that will do similar.

    Awful product

    It never recorded a precise run. It always marked 5 miles by the time I was barely over 4 miles in a perfectly defined trail. The last time it marked 1.7 miles in the 5 mile trail! The nike application is ages away from mediocre.

    Bought in June, used 7, seven times! in a 3 month period, and then ran out of battery.

    I know it has a warranty but, Who these days keeps a ticket of a 20 dls purchase?

    Totally disappointed.
