    This is not very good

    • Written by from KAMUELA

Easy to put on - but it ends there. This armband does not work at all if you use the Nike+ receiver with your iPod while you run. It works only marginally well without the receiver. I am a fairly frequent runner and have had my iPod fall out of the armband twice, once without the Nike+ receiver. The small plastic circle that was supposed to be covering the dial - MIA. Hard to get the iPod into and out of while running and really - this is not for use while running.

Velcro not aggresive enought to keep it on !!!

    • Written by from san diego

i like the design. but the velcro is not as agresive as the first week when i got it. tends to rip itself loose , when I place it too high the velcro pops loose. I have to keep re- tie it over and over. do not recomend it.

Looks cool, but doesn't fit well

    • Written by from Mountain View

My primary purpose in buying the armband was for working out. In my case, that means walking on a treadmill. In the past, I owned a different MP3 player with an elastic armband. The armband for that player was much better than this one. This one doesn't stretch much, so I end up tightening it so much that it hurts, and then the velcro gives way. If function is more important to you than looks, then don't buy this armband.

    iPod nano armband

    • Written by from Ann Arbor

Not very functional for weight lifting. Armband is too small and does not fit around "slightly" larger arms, cutting off circulation or the Velcro comes undone.

    not worth the money

    • Written by

At the gym I was appalled by a bad odor only to discover it was me, my ipod cover. Immediately, I went to bathroom to handwash to help mask the odor and the plastic cover fell off. Would have been helpful to have a do not wash sign in the directions and maybe a here's how to mask rancid odor that wil occur. My second problem, I am a women without Hulk Hogan arms and I cannot get the velcro to stay put. I am in-between velcros to begin with and it seems everytime I am running on the treadmill I lose my ipod. I have tried going shorter and pulling tighter. It doesn't work. $30 was a waste of money... I had hoped a better product would have be put out by Apple.

    Allowed damage to my nano

    • Written by

The armband was fine for holding the nano in place, but it does now stink. The other problem is that it let sweat into my nano, the nano burnt out and now Apple say it isn't under warranty as the warranty doesn't cover water damage. I've only had it for 4 months. I am not impressed. Surely it should be designed to prevent that kind of damage.

    Not worth the money.

    • Written by from East Windsor

I was very disappointed with this product. It doesn't offer any protection for the screen of my iPod, and since the iPod only slides into the top of this arm band I found that when I moved my arm around, even just running, that my iPod would start to fall out. I didn't feel that it was secure at all. I thought that a product actually made by apple would be better than this. I definitely feel it isn't worth the $29 pricetag. If you're going to get an armband invest the extra $0.95 and get any of the others that are available.

    dont buy this product

    • Written by from Austin

I do not know what reviews apple is using to get this rating, but this blows. The arm band is very small and the velcro does not hold. my ipod falls off every time i try to use it at the gym. dont waste your money

    Needs better adjustment

    • Written by from Beverly Hills

Love the color (red), love the looks, and it is durable. However, it is not comfortable for my arms (I'm skinny) and won't work on my wrist. My arm diameter falls in between the dots of velcro, so I can't get a comfortable fit--either too tight or too loose. It's hard to attach in the middle of a dot. When running or lifting weights, this can really cause some arm pains. This could be fixed by not using velcro dots, but a long piece. I can't wear it around my wrist as the band overlaps and so won't fasten. My partner is bigger and has a similar problem--the comfortable spot is in between the dots.

    Looks cool -- Bad design...

    • Written by from Novi

I got my iPod nano armband two days ago. I used it for one full day before the clear plastic protecting the touchpad fell off as I put the iPod back in the case. It looks like the clear plastic is just glued onto the inside in such a way that the n... Read more >ano scrapes past it every time you put it in the case. There's also strain on the plastic piece everytime the band is being stretched (ie whenever it's on your arm), because the plastic is the only piece keeping the touch pad hole in the band circular. As there are no other options, I have no real advice--just wanted to let people know about this problem before they purchase the band.
