    Check your arm size first!

    • Written by from Saint Petersburg

If you have arms larger than 14 inches in diameter, you may have difficulty finding a place to wear your nano. You may choose to wear yours on your wrist instead. The material breathes well when I exercise. It fastens securely to my arm and doesn't move around much. The only thing I would change would be adding a small piece of material on both sides of the iPod holder below the armband. This would keep the iPod protected from sweat and decrease your chances of scratching the lower sides.

    Not for Distance Running

    • Written by from Chicago

I've given this product THREE tries, and each time it was awful. If you are running shorter distance (5miles or less), the product is okay. Anything longer and you will be very disappointed. Constantly slips off your arm and comes un-velcroed. This armband is designed for short term use...cannot use for longer than six months if you work out regularly. Terrible product.

    Well for the most part...

    • Written by from Bemidji

It does its job very well. I don't have the problem with armsize, but I can see where people with bigger arms would. Its main problem comes with its velcro. Once that velcro gets wet with sweat or water, it has a tough time keeping tight on your arm without wanting to come loose.

    The Absolutely Wonderful Best-Thing-In-The-World armband

    • Written by

I found this armband as the best ipod accesory in the book. Its tough matierial breathes with your skin, and the ipod stays firmly in place. It allows you easy access to the clickwheel and comes in vibrant, exhilerating colors equal to the excitement of the ipod itself. The only slight fracture in the making is that it only comes in one size. For people with stick-skinny arms, they can simply add more velcro to the inside of the band, but for people with arms that are thicker than the armband allows, there is no way around it.

I strongly suggest buying this product. It has been useful for about every sport save swimming. It is the the best answer to long, boring, music-less hikes, walking the dog, car trips, on the airplane, or simply lying around. Thank you, Apple, for making this possible, although I strongly suggest lowering your prices.

depends on what you use it for.

    • Written by

In some reviews they say the arm band is terrible, but it all depends on the use, running, stairs or tredmills agree more with the arm band then more hard core sports like playing basket ball or and stuff like that, think of what you will use it for,THEN diside it it would be useful for you to buy it,and if you think it's to expensive, cheaper one's are available at target and Wal-mart.
I hope you thought my review was useful.

    Great 4 Runners!!!

    • Written by from Greenfield

My passion is running, and these armbands let me run and pump me up all @ the same time. I personally have the green one & love it. It doesnt slip at all @ is sooo comfortable. I recommend buying this product @ circuit city because you don't have to pay for shipping and handling, & they have all the colors unlike places like best buy or target. Pick one up & RUN!!!

    I've Seen Better

    • Written by from CREVE COEUR

This product is not ideal for working out, a belt clip would be much better and I'm sure Apple and its affiliates will make one soon. However, with this product, the top portion of the Nano is always exposed to the elements, and the excess headphone cord is constantly (dangling) in the way. Also, if you have above average sized arms it will be a very tight fit. It does look cool though.

    Love it

    • Written by from Virginia Beach

I am very excited and happy because the armband does exactly what I need it do. I can finally exercise without a beltclip rubing me at my waistband and falling off. It fits wells on me, doesn't slide down, it looks great, green is my favorite color, and is so light, I barely notice the ipod is on my arm.
The downside I have found is that the headphone cord dangles and hits you if you are running or exercising hard (the solution for me was to put the cord to the headphones behind my back instead of in front and it no longer bugs me-- the only other solution I could think of is to get a set of headphones with some kind of clip so you can clip it to your clothes) The other problem that I can see is if you have much larger upper arm muscles, then it most likely won't fit like it is supposed to.

    Looks cool -- Bad design...

    • Written by from Novi

I got my iPod nano armband two days ago. I used it for one full day before the clear plastic protecting the touchpad fell off as I put the iPod back in the case. It looks like the clear plastic is just glued onto the inside in such a way that the n... Read more >ano scrapes past it every time you put it in the case. There's also strain on the plastic piece everytime the band is being stretched (ie whenever it's on your arm), because the plastic is the only piece keeping the touch pad hole in the band circular. As there are no other options, I have no real advice--just wanted to let people know about this problem before they purchase the band.

    Not for Nike ipod adapter

    • Written by from Redmond

Does not fit with the Nike running kit adapter. Hard to use controls through the plastic. Has left bruises on my arm because the plastic pinches it when trying to cinch it tight enough. It will slip loose on your skin. Also hard to clean. Not a good design for runners using the Nike running kit.

Looks Cool, But Not Practical - Terrible for Work Outs

    • Written by from New York

If you're planning to use this product for cardio exercise, you should pass. The fabric is very thin and perspiration goes through to the ipod leaving it wet + the top of the ipod is exposed to the elements as well. The band is tight for large arms and even if it fits, will leave marks/scratches under your arm from the friction of exercise. The headphone jack is on the bottom in an awkward location so jack pushes against arm and excess cord is always in the way (over or under the arm). The belt is overpriced and not worth it. Apple needs to come out with a belt clip ASAP for this product...

    Has its flaws

    • Written by from Swarthmore

After using the armband for about a year, I think it has some flaws: (1) The Velcro gets tired and slips. Admittedly, I wash it (I do work out with it, after all), so that may have compromised the Velcro. (2) I bought a iPod radio receiver/headphone set; the base of that is as broad as the USB hook-up, and the armband only has room for the little plug. I cut a slit in the bottom, and so far it's holding, but it's being held by a mere slip of material. (3) It gets dingy with use and doesn't wash very well.

This product is amazing! It works really well too. I like to go running and I needed something to hold my iPod and I thought this would be the perfect thing to use and I was right. If your active like me you should think about getting this product.

Nice armband, color not as shown

The armband is fine, but the color looks nothing like the color on the picture. It's much more neon-colored.

    Pretty Cool.

    • Written by from ALBUQUERQUE

I love these Armbands! I have red and Blue. They do wear and tear easily though. So what? You can always get a new one from a grandparent or something. The holes help skin Breathe. No sweat in just that area. But good luck with it if you have big biceps or tiny arms.

It's nice but a bit pricey

    • Written by

    29$ is 2 and a half hours @ work.
I could barley afford the nano, and now I have to pay 29$ for a case that securely holds my nano on my arm. Totally worth it. Hehe.

    love the armband!

    • Written by from Omaha

The green, in person, is a little bit more neon--and the perforated effect reminds me of those neon band-aids and the whole neon trend of the early nineties. Overall, it's really cool. I love protecting my iPod nano, showing it off, and wearing my nano armband-aid. Very, very hot and trendy. I see like every scenester on MySpace with one of these in green, pink, or red.

    Not a bad arm band.

    • Written by from Minneapolis

It's very simple and easy to use. It doesn't offer any protection from water. I was a little surprised at how small it is, but it still fits my 14" arm. Not much room left for expansion, however.

    Oldie but goodie

    • Written by from Boston

I just ordered this to replace one I had just like it. Mine lasted me for 6 years! It was great. I used it for running 3-5 miles per day, and it worked perfectly. It's finally falling apart, but it had a good long life. I was so happy to find this one still available; hope it's as good as the original.
