Reviews for iPod shuffle External Battery Pack

I bought my iPod shuffle when they first came out (Jan 2005) and the internal battery no longer holds a charge. Got the external battery pack so I can continue using my shuffle. Works with NiMH AAA's. Only problem is you have to unplug and replug the shuffle before turning on the shuffle and it resets to the start of the playlist instead of picking up where you left off. This is because a working internal battery is needed to remember its previous state. Not perfect but at least I can still use my shuffle forever.

I went away on vacation and it amzing to have because then I could listen to it anytime. I am so glad I bought it.

When you forget to charge you iPod shuffle. Just pop in 2 AAA's, and your ready to go.

I purchased this new in box elsewhere just last week to expand the battery life of my iPod shuffle 1st-gen, also coming from said "elsewhere". After having some problems at first with the iPod going nuts when I plugged it in (orange/green blinking, firmware corruption not caused by the accessory was the cause) it was very nice! the added neck lanyard makes this a very stylish item. Even going around my college campus, people are asking me where I got this little gem.

If you have one of these almost-vintage music sticks, I suggest you definitely get one of these while Apple still has them in stock.

the battery bosts the battery life alot so it makes long trips easy

I listen to music as I go to sleep and tend to fall asleep before I turn off my ipod killing the internal battery in the process. At home that's no big deal, but when out fighting forest fires, I usually don't have any power source handy. Now with my battery pack, all I have to do is bring along some extra AAAs. the lanyard is kind of useless since the extra weight of the battery pack makes it bulky around the neck.

This upcoming summer I have an educational trip for china planned thanks to People to People, and this is the perfect thing to take with me for bus rides and stuff. My friend has this product and highly recommends it! During my trip to china I won't have access to a computer, and the electricy plugs are different there so I'd need to buy a converter or bring a laptop (which I don't have) to be able to charge! But not now, thanks to this awesome little invention I'll only have to take some batteries with me and I'll be able to take my Ipod with me. Thanks Apple!

This Battery pack for ur shuffle iz mad!!!! when ur in the car with a younger brother dat wont stop anoying u and u run outta battery. u can rely on the battery pack.
its really really good. i can just put my headphones in and totally ignor him.
