yes they may look funky and you can match them up to your dress code but they dont give much of a protection to your ipod and you have to take your i pod out to use it.there basically expensive cloths and i think your money would be better spent on something that will actually protect your ipod from all the eliments.

though this product is very useful. it is also pricy.$30 for 6 socks is very expensive. i suggest that they should lower the price to $20 which is very reasonable.

i relay lyk these soks because they r sooo cute and small
they keep ur ipod safe from the outside (purse or backpack and they look awesome.
buutt they arent too usefull if u lyk changing songs a lot.

when i got it...yes they looked cute and stylish but it was accually a waste of money and time. they dont protect your ipod in anyway and they dont look as good as you would think....trust me on this!

While these are not boring or typical like the clear plastic cover I had originally, they don't protect as well, but serve as a great little 'iPod cozy' while carrying the iPod in my purse. It also keeps the screen/iPod body clean and scratch free.I don't have a problem switching songs by hitting the buttons through the material, but some of you might. I found them colorful and cute, but definately not what you'd want if you're looking for something hardcore to protect against all terrain bumps and scratches.

You would think these are really stupid, and they don't offer much protection, but consider how many cases...

are compatible with iTrip?

can be put on backwards to cover the iPod while plugged in or on the dock?

are machine washable?

fit both the iPod and iPod mini?

I started skeptical, but have grown to be quite a fan. As long as you don't drop the iPod, these will keep it safe and looking cool, and you can use them to hold other things besides the iPod.

well yes the iPod sox appears very and usefull and it is however it does not allow one to view the screen or the touchpad. While the idea is a relatively good one for carrying the ipod it is not usefull for actually using the ipod. However, when i purchased my iPod i bought a silicone case in which was produced by the company. This case not only protects the LCD screne but allows aloows one access to the touchpad. But i must admmit that the sox is very usefull for just simply carrying around you iPod and it does as some sense of cushion to your iPod

While the iPod socks look cool, they are extremely expensive. I find them useful because they do keep out dust (I mow about 7 acres every weekend). They are also effective for protecting the finish on your iPod when the iPod is in your pocket with keys, change, etc. However, it would be just as effective to buy infant socks and pay $1 a pair. They also come in different colors, many of which I will never put on my iPod. At almost $30 for six, you're better off with the infant socks.

I would want to tell people that think that these socks are nothing but a waste of money that they should reconsider. I have bought these the same time i bought my iPod from the only Apple dedicated reseller in Romania and they are soooo great! I can take my iPod out for a walk and, if i end up in a fast food restaurant and i want to take him out of my pocket, i don't have to worry about dirt and scratches. And if the socks get dirty, i can always put them in the washing machine :) Speaking of which, i shoud really wash my green sock tommorow :D

some guy said these things would be reasonably priced at $20... but i would think that even that is unreasonable, and that for a bunch of couloured cloth bags my granny actually would knit if i asked her, that is still a little on the expensive side...

but on the other hand... how could anything THAT green possibly be bad for your ipod? and hey, their machine washable....
actually, i keep lots of things in my iPods socks... like... uhh... money?

i really like these socks i think that they protect your iPod pretty well unless it drops onto something very hard like cement. they look amazing on both iPods and iPod minis. they fit both, they stretch alot, and you can pick the color you want everyday. for all that this can do i think that the price is reasonable for the socks protecting,coloring, just about everying the your iPod needs!

iPod Socks are adorable and come in several cute colors. However, they are pretty expensive and provide no protection for your iPod or iPod mini. They make it look cute, but while your iPod is inside the sock, you cannot use it or use the beltclip. If your are storing your iPod in a pocket or bag where it will not be banged around, iPod socks are fine. But there all looks and lack logic.
