The iPod Socks are very cute and colorful. You can change them up very easily if you get bored with the same color. But I would not use them alone. I have a case that fits around my iPod Touch, and the Socks give some extra protection when I have my iPod in my bag or pocket. They're definitely pricey, but they're durable and they'll last a long time. Plus, you can use them with almost any iPod and the iPhone.

Surprisingly worthwile!

These socks, though pricey, are worth the deal. I kept two, gave two to my girlfriend, and one each to two other friends. That way, four people have a great way to protect iPod, cell phone, you name it.

I own a 2G iPod touch, and the sock protects it from any harm the inside of my pocket or its contents could inflict it. It fits tightly in it, but the sock stays in my pocket when I want to take the iPod out. It also offers good protection for my LG Chocolate.

My friends all own 4G iPod nanos, and they have no trouble with them. They can wrap the earphones around the sock and the nano does not escape.

The only suggestion I may make to nano owners is to consider a silicone cover, because it tends to slip out when the sock is tipped. The sock does not fully protect the nano from shocks, so the soft silicone shell might be a plus. I would suggest silicone shells with or without the sock anyway.

The colours are good fun, and the Apple label is tastefully placed. I only wish there had been more in the pack, because all my friends want a sock now!

I got the ipod socks for christmas. I love them. the only downside is that sometimes my nano slips out.

Perfect for Basic Protection

These are great if you just want to protect your iPod from scratches when it's in your pocket or something. If you're looking for something to keep your iPod intact when it gets to the dog, these don't work. But if you, as I said before, just want to keep it scratch-free or even OK when you drop it, these are fine. they're especially great for the 1st, 2nd, and 4th generation iPod nano because they're proportioned the same way.

This is an okay product for an iPod. I own the iPod touch 2G and I like it, but I find cases much more classy and protectful for an iPod.

This slip on case is the greatest case i have ever bought. It snuggly fits my iPod touch, and i use it when ever i have my iPod out. I have it in pink, but it comes in five other colors. I got my case at Best Buy, and it isn't cheap. I got mine for $30, which is a lot for a little case. If you have a litle cash on you, and you have an iPod, GET THE CASE!!!

i was bout to go over to my buddys house with my new ipod classic and i didnt have a case. so i ran into walmart and look at the price and saw that they were $30:00. i was like OMG so i bought them. and when i got in the car and told my mom and she was like OMG!she was really mad,,,,but the do look cool and do protect ur ipod, but i dont recomend these to the nano people cause it slips ont VERY! easy.



ps. i would give it a 4.5 but i cant

This product is great. Breaks my iPod's fall, but very pricy. I guess it is worth it. It has saved my iPod. I recommend this one, even if it is pricy.

This is the case I chose for my first iPOD (touch+custom engraving) and haven't regretted it since. It protects the iPod from scratches, looks sweet, YOU CAN SILL VIEW YOUR CUSTOM ENGRAVING WITHOUT TAKING OFF A BULKY CASE :), and you can easily take the ipod our to change songs. And it's machine washable.

On the downside, it doesn't protect from impacts, so don't step on it. Also, it's expensive, but I split the socks/cost with a friend, so it's all good.

Common myths: Ipod slips out a lot.
Truth: Don't hold the thing upside down then. It grips my touch firmly and securely.

Don't offer any protection.
Truth: If you drop any ipod, no matter the case, things could get messy. These socks protect the ipod from all scratches, but will not stand up to being stepped on.

Please note that I am not an apple fanboy, but a serious reviewer. I just don't like seeing all the hate on these socks because some idiot dropped his ipod and smashed it.

I think these iPod socks are great!

They deffinetly keep your ipod safe from scratches. I've dropped mine tons of times and there's not one scratch, and the sock even breaks its fall! Lol.

The only down side is how exspensive they are. 30 bucks is a little much. Just think of the 30 dollars as an investment

Hopefully they'll come up with new colors/designs for the socks...

im using the little socks all the time!! they are so easy to put on and take off. they protect most scratches. but i use them the most for when i take my i pod places. i usually just put my i pod in a sock and put it in my bag. my i pod is safe in my bag now that i have the sock on it. it doesnt get those little scratches that you get when you put your i pod in your bag. i use them all the time for when im in different moods. They rock.

These socks are awesome! It fits on any ipod except for the shuffle of course. Many people have been saying these socks do not allow you to use the buttons however that is completely untrue. While i listen to my music i can skip a song or go back but pushing through the sock! The only thing which it does not allow you to do is change the volume.
It is definitely expensive for 6 pieces of fabric but works very well.

I think this little sock is amazing. six different socks to look as stylish as you. It is handy and useful. Personaly i am going to buy it and use it everyday with a different color. I only wish there were 2 holes to be able to see the pad and tghe screen but that is the great thing about it. It can fit all different sizes....

I love these...colorful and practical for ANYTHING! I can use these to cover up my cell phone or camera. I wouldn't buy these if i wanted protection, though. Use a iPod skin and then use these if you want protection from scratches. I used to think that they were just a waste of money, but they have definitely grown on me...

Just bought my iPod touch & guess what..had scratches on the first day itself on the back...then saw these cute little things....bought them...& voila...going great since then...looks good too...change the colours evryday...You will love it...I know I do !!!

Good- room to improve

I love my apple ipod socks! They are so fun and colorful, I can change them to match my mood everyday, I even made little bows to put on them to dress them up. The only thing is that I have to take my ipod out every time I need to change the song. It also won't protect my ipod well enough so I bought an agent 18 case to put on under the socks. It worked great, and that is what I advise you do if you want the ipod socks.
