Apple iPod Socks- Love them!

I just bought these- I tried them on my iPod Classic 160gb, and they fit it perfectly. They also fit all other iPod models. They even fit on my iPod with its hard case on! I definitely recommend these because they don't scratch the iPod and they are great for cold weather or just to look stylish! I love the colors and the knit fabric is very soft. I love them!

C'mon, now. Is anything really going to protect your iPod if you drop it? Some people sure have unreasonable expectations.

I've been using the "Pod socks" for several years now. I love them because they protect my iPod from scratches (it usually lives in my purse), while allowing me to set it easily into my iPod-docking alarm clock. I wouldn't be able to do that if I kept it in any kind of hard shell or sleeve.

I also love that these "socks" work for a variety of other things. I keep my digital camera in one (it protects the screen). You can keep your earbuds and USB cord in one, too - keeps them from betting tangled in a purse.

It all depends how you use your iPod. I'm very easy on mine - don't expose it to a lot of rough-and-tumble activity. If you do, this isn't the protection for you.

these socks really work well. they dont offer much protection from being dropped or smashed. .. but they do prevent scratches and wear and tear. the soft wool of the socks prevent the ipod from getting scratched. most other cases i have tried actually scratch the ipod more than if i didnt have a case. so i tried the socks and they work great. i have had my ipod nano for about 6 months and it looks brand new!!! no weras or scratches. even the apple logo on the back is in perfect condition. if ur lookin for proctection from drops then dont get this. but if u want protection from scratches and wear then this is great for you.

Versatile but impractical

The socks shouldn't be purchased as a carrying case for the nano or other electronic devices, since they are open ended and the device can all too easily fall out of them. They can be used to store the device while not in use but, without a snap closure, the socks don't function as a reliable case. Since I purchased these ten days ago to go with my new nano, I always felt that the nano was about to fall out.... until it did. Better put those $30 to a wrap-around case with some sort of snap, or a case that can fit snugly.

I've tried everything for my iPods and iPhone 3G. All other cases introduce scratches and bulk one way or another.

These fit everything- even a Bluetooth Mighty Mouse. They clean the devices whenever you remove them. They protect them from things you could have in your pocket or bag. I am not prone to dropping things, and I prefer to use my iPod/iPhone in their naked beauty.

I love how they look.

I've bought knockoffs before and they have been junk. The Apple ones at least are super soft, non-scratch inducing, and have a good snug elasticity to them.

I bought these socks when I bought my 80GB iPod classic because at the time it was either that or a $100 leather case. I wasnt really expecting much from them but the turned out to be awesome! They don't trap dirt and dust like gel cases and they do actually offer protection. I keep my cell phone in one also and they offer great protection. I highly recommend these, forget the gel and the leather, these are the best form of protection. I recommend them to everyone for any electronic device you have that is relatively thin and you don't want getting scratched. That's another thing, despite the design in the socks they do not scratch! The back of my iPod is as clear as the day I bought it thanks to these socks. And they make great screen cleaners. Plus you get six how can you go wrong?

We purchased two sets and with teenagers, our family uses the iPod Socks for all sorts of things; iPods, iTouch, digital cameras, Blackberries, cell phones. Many uses!!

Amazing that I found this... I never found a case better for my
old U2 iPod than an old MotoX sock that I had. It never scratched the case
or display. I do not like the cases with clear plastic over the display... dust and
dirt get trapped there and scratch it. That iPod has long died, and I cannot wait
to order a iPod sock for my new one that I bought today. Excellent design Apple.

These are cool because:

Lots of different colors, choose 1 every day!

Protects your device from scratches (iPhones are durable these days, forget about breaking them)

Soft and good-looking

Good for bags, purses, etc.

Great for winter time because you can put 2 and it actually suprisingly keeps your iphone/ipod warm enough to not freeze up like my nano!!

I'll admit that when I first saw the iPod socks I thought that they were pointless and would be a complete waste of money. Although they were, admittedly, cute....Then I got a set of them for Christmas. To counteract the "money wasting" factor I decided that instead of keeping them all for myself I would regift a few. The pointlessness, however, needed no assistance. They were great! The socks were durable and could be used for more than just the iPod and prevented all sorts of scratches and dents. So, in the end the iPod socks were NOT a waste of money and definetely not pointless. And I was VERY pleasantly surprised.

these where better than I thought. They fit my Ipod just right. Not to mention all of the different colors their are. Who ever wrote a bad review about this is crazy!!! : ) And who ever isn't buying this is really missing out!!! So if I were you (which I'm not) I would totally buy this!!!!! : )

Light Protection, But Fun

The iPod Socks are very cute and colorful. You can change them up very easily if you get bored with the same color. But I would not use them alone. I have a case that fits around my iPod Touch, and the Socks give some extra protection when I have my iPod in my bag or pocket. They're definitely pricey, but they're durable and they'll last a long time. Plus, you can use them with almost any iPod and the iPhone.

these socks may be colorful but other than that there is nothing good about them! my ipod slipped out into a puddle and completly broke! and they get holes in them after a while i would never spend this much money of a sock again. apple made a mistake making these because they dont have enough protection.

I got a iPod Classic last September and I've already have iPod nano 1st generation for 2 years. I don't like protective covers because the back side of iPod Classic is like a mirror. I usually use that to fix my makeup. I don't think we need to cover it so I needed socks instead of protective covers.

I'm really satisfied with socks. They are elastic so they fit iPod nano with a little space and of course iPod classic. They don't get easily dirty so I've never washed them yet. I feel happy I can change the sock according to my mind or my clothes every day.
