I could not get it to fit following Apple's instructions. With the plastic scratch guards in place, the screws would not line up properly to engage the threads in the holes on the back of the monitor (and yes, I double checked that I was using the correct bits of plastic for my 23-in monitor). I removed the plastic scratch guards and replaced them with strips of folded paper and cellophane tape, and everything fit.
I am very happy with the monitor now that I can adjust the height. My neck and shoulders relaxed instantly.
I agree completely with the earlier reviewer who said that a $900 monitor ought to come with VESA mounting ability. I add that a $900 monitor should also have a HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT!227 of 427 people found this useful
