Way too high priced for the low build quality and even poor sound quality.

Okay, I will be honest here. I bought these In-Ear Headphones all excited because they were my first pair of Beats. After use for one month, they gave me a ton of problems. The biggest one was the entire inner ear bud getting destroyed and bam, they were gone and it was too late to get my money back. Quality was fine while it lasted but only for bass enriched songs.

    Problematic Headphones

    • Written by from Concord

I've had these headphones for five months, and until recently, they've been decent. The sound quality is exquisite, but be wary that the headphones DO block out large quantities of outside noise, and if you're, say, walking somewhere, you won't be able to hear someone, which clearly can be problematic. The rubber earbuds are different, but adaptable. The first issue I ran into is when I go jogging, the headphones won't stay in for long, I believe because of the rubber earbuds. They've been so difficult that I tend to not listen to music while I jog. The second problem I encountered was that the headphone jack was too large to fit past my iPhone's "LifeProof" case. The case is too big for regular headphones, and I thought that these would work, due to the straightness of the jack--wrong. My latest problem, which is irreparable, is that the wire to the headphone jack is wearing out, and becoming difficult to have clear sound. The sound quality is now very finnicky because of the wear on the wire, which means the sound coming in and out, depending on the degree of the wire, is consistent in only one ear. I have to twist the wire "just so" to get sound back in the other ear. This recent difficulty is NOT covered under the warranty, and is even specifically listed. I am upset that I spent this sort of money on headphones that are marketed as notably durable, and I feel that my money would have been better spent on Apple's $30 headphones, which probably would have endured the same amount, and at a fraction of the cost.

    urBeats? No...myBeats!!

Hands down the BEST in-ear earbuds I have ever worn and listened with in my life! I was extremely hesitant at first to spend $100 on headphones; however, in hindsight and with a bit of gentle prodding from my local Apple Specialist, I can't ever imagine not having them. The sound is so clean and clear. I don't have to turn them up super loud in order to be able to enjoy my music the way I want to. My only point of discontent was with the selection of rubber earbuds that came with it. None of them really fit or felt comfortable in my ear. I had to buy a third party set in order to find a size that worked right for me. Overall though, I couldn't be happier!
