    Expand your iPhone Camera Capability

I do not usually buy a lot of accessories for my devices, but I'm very glad I took a chance with this lens system. As wonderful as the iPhone is at taking photos, it often lacked when it came to the kind of photos I need to take in my architecture practice. In the past, I used my 35mm SLR camera with a wide angle lens to take interiors of homes and buildings. It used film, so I easily transitioned into using the iPhone for my office needs. I really missed my wide angle lens, so when I purchased this Olloclip, it allowed me to once again get very decent interior photos. As for the other lens options, the macro amazed me with how close one could get to the subject and retain excellent detail. Sometimes, the camera gets so close, the lens actually shades the subject, but it works amazingly in well-lit conditions. The only thing that cost one star on this review is the fish-eye lens. I don't have much need for the fish-eye option, so it's not critical, but the edge of the fish eye image loses its focus. The loss of focus is only near the edge, so 90 percent or so of the image is just as crisp as the focus using the other lens options, so for me, it's not a serious criticism. I also appreciate the lens caps and little drawstring bag that protects the lenses from scratching. The lens is a very good snug fit, so it will only work with a naked iPhone. I had to take my film screen protector off the phone to use the lens. I highly recommend this lens.
