    Needs Improvment

    The product it self is great however I am having issues with the app and syncing it with my computer . It syncs but the data is not correct and it effects my whole nike account and with my stats and records this is all very frustrating and really hope they come out with a fix or I may need to order another fitness tracker.

    Poor Sync

    I have to reload the software ever few months as the unit won't transfer data to my IPad or my IPhone. Wish it would monitor your sleep and it doesn't track cycling or any elliptical equipment.

    Starts off great but battery life eventually starts to die daily...

    This is the third time my FuelBand starts to drain the battery after less than a day. At first, it starts off lasting almost over a week. I do Martial Arts and go to the gym regularly. Eventually the battery starts to lose its power faster from over a week, to 5 days, down to 3 days to now it will not even last a day.

    This my only complaint about the FuelBand. I had the original edition and had to return it because of the battery. The SE came out and I upgrade and again I had to exchange it because of the battery. The current one is now at home. I am too frustrated to deal with Nike.

    Nike needs a better way to exchange the device. I have to send the damaged one in and they have to test it first before sending me the replacement. So I am out at least two to three weeks.

    Not reliable

    I had two of these. Both ended with button broke. Other thing to notice is that the battery is not replaceable. There are better choices in the market with excellent synchrony with Apple products.

    FuelBand SE - Hoping for more

    I received my FuelBand SE for Christmas. The first one I received was a large and was uncomfortable so I exchanged it for an XL and it fit much better. Although still a bit uncomfortable. The big issue was lack of consistent connectivity with my iPhone. I had several exchanges with Nike technical support and they did a good job of trying to solve the issues (the reason it gets 2 stars). Each time my fuel band was recharged, it would not reconnect to my phone. The most reliable solution was to uninstall the Nike app from my phone, re-install it and then it would re-connect. Seems a bit inconvenient. In addition to the issue each time it was recharged, it would just randomly lose it's connection to the phone. Sometimes rebooting the phone would solve the problem. Way too many issues for not much benefit. I finally returned mine.

    Cant sync properly at all

    The bracelet has done wonders to motivate me, but its currently a half baked product. Sync simply doesn't work unless you force restart the app. And if it DOES sync without a restart, it doesn't know what day it is the second time you refresh. Gave me the same score on a second day and a bunch of badges i didn't earn. As soon as you restart the app and resync, all disappear and a correct score displays. They rushed it for xmas, and its obv they didnt care if a good product shipped.

    broken clasp already, awful sync, flaky app

    Actually, I like a lot about the product, but there are just too many problems to recommend it (and much harder to forgive because it’s a 2nd generation product). The clasp started popping open on day 3 while running hard, just from jostling. Setup, configuration and sync are all generally awful. The app is (still at 2.0.2) unstable and has to be force quit and relaunched to re-pair. Maybe that will be fixed in an update, but meanwhile it makes a terrible impression.

    All this was a big hassle even for me, and moms won’t stand a chance — even tech-savvy moms!

    Lots of potential, but tons of rough edges. Beware.

    Credit where due: when I griped about the product on Twitter, Nike support noticed and contacted me. So there’s that.

    The new FuelBand has connectivity issues with my iPod.

    The new FuelBand now gives me less points than the original even when I do intense workouts, because of this I am unable to compete with my friends who have the older band. Since it provides less points I am unable to track my progress and continue from were I left off and it is now less rewarding every time I wear it.

    I have also noticed some lag when it displays the LED information.

    The only thing going for the new one is that it's more water resistant which does not even make a difference unless you want to get a few more points in the shower (LOL).

    Overall I was very disappointed in this product. I feel like I am using a prototype.

    To leave on a more positive note, I like the double tap time feature and the look of the new bands.
