I have gone through 2 Nike Fuel Bands and 1 Nike Fuel Band SE in 15 months. The first one's button stopped working after 8 months, but this was covered under warranty so Nike shipped me a new one. This one lasted 5 months until one of the linkages broke and the Fuel Band could not hold together. This was also covered under warranty and this time Nike shipped me a Fuel Band SE. This one lasted 3 months until the clasp randomly came undone today while out walking my dog and it fell off. This has been a common problem with all 3 Fuel Bands so far: the clasp would randomly come undone during normal wear (like just walking around the house), but thankfully each time I noticed this and re-clasped it before it fell off. This final time though it came unclasped and I didn't notice until it was gone.

You would think a product designed to be worn during physical activity (since that is what it measures) would have a very robust clasp so that at no point could it accidentally come undone. However, all 3 have had this same problem and it finally caught up to me. Nike replaced the first two under warranty, but I know there's no way they'll replace one that was lost, even though it was due to their clasp malfunctioning. I have no desire to replace my Fuel Band at my own cost and continue to deal with a product that breaks and falls apart every few months.

    Lasted only two months

    • Written by from Edmonton

I bought it last May 2014 and I thought it was great from the start. The app is great as it gives me the information I needed. It motivated me to take a regular walk and I wear it every time except when going to sleep. After a month, the link became loose and I tried to find where I can purchase a replacement link but unfortunately I can't find anywhere, even at Nike online. I continue using it while still looking a place to buy replacement link, but through time, the other end of the bracelet where the link connects came off. I tried to fix it last night and found out that the spring for the lock was dislocated. Now I'm worried if I can still claim the warranty for it. It's too expensive to get broken easily.

    Not very good

While this might work well for walking and running it does not work well for Biking, eliptical etc. My husband actually go thousands of points for golfing....with a cart. It is not able to differentiate different activities at all. For simple motivation....it is okay.

Had high hopes for this product, but couldn't be more disappointed. After trying all day just to get the fuelband se set up, I gave up and returned it. I went with the fit bit force instead and haven't regretted it. It syncs to either apple or android devices and was much easier to set up.

    Product Should be Recalled

    • Written by from White Plains

I had the original armband. It was fun to use. The new SE takes the fun out of using it and makes it extremely frustrating to use primarily because there are so many problems. Sometimes pairing doesn't work, sometimes I can't sync. I lost all my trophies, didn't get trophies on winning streaks. I don't know what Nike was thinking but this product is poor-get a FitBit and you'll be much happier.

    Sleep tracking really?

    • Written by from Paris

Nike advertises that the new Fuel Band SE tracks sleep. That's a big joke! It is no more than a sleep timer. No analysis of the sleep quality with light and deep sleep at all. Besides that the app is full of bugs with sync problems, you loose Nike Fuel, goals and badges...

    Terrible, Beware not significant changes.

    • Written by from Winter Springs

The day it came out, I headed to the Apple store and purchased one. One of the features that I was sold was the ability to track sleep like the fitbit one which I lost a week earlier ( after one day of playing with the device I realized that it was only a gimmick) It was the same Fuelband as the original, the app stunk and the people at fitbit send me a replacement free of charge. Now I am going to get the fitbit force and use their far superior app and support system, so beware just because a product is Nike not always is the best. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!

    Fuelband SE

    • Written by from Port Washington

I had the original Fuelband and until the button broke (9 months in) it worked great. While Nike was nice enough to give me the new one at no cost (Kudos to them), the new one has been nothing but trouble. It hasn't seemed to hold its charge for more than a day (the original did so for more than a week), syncing is repeatedly not functional and the website availability this week has been spotty. Stay with your original until they get the new one working, which I suspect will take some time. And now they're in a hurry to get blinged versiouns on the shelves. Get a working product out. This is very un-Nike like
