    Do not buy, support is Automated replies

    The software on the iPhones is flakey, after installing the lock, the fob worked immediately. Contacted support, the automated reply gave the answer - hint, this problem is common.

    Reloaded iPhone software as requested. Immediately started to operate as planned, however the iPhone insisted the lock software needed updating. Allowed the update which was listed as successful but the lock has not operated electronically since, fob or iPhone

    So far lodged two support requests, yet to have a reply

    Terrible Lock

    We purchased two locks, one for our front door and the other for our back door. These locks had constant problems, one of them being that it would randomly lock without us touching the deadbolt when we would close the door. Needless to say my pregnant wife and I ended up locked outside on more then one occasion without our iPhone on us to open the lock back up again. We had other issues with repeatability of it unlocking when we did have our iPhone with us. I must have calibrated each lock 50-60 times with mixed results. Since we had two separate locks with similar inconsistencies on both I am of the opinion that Kevo's deadbolt technology is simply terrible....

    Not Very Reliable. A Don't Buy

    I've had this lock on my door for several months now. Syncing the iPhone with the lock was a pain. It took several tries before it worked. Most of time I have to have the iPhone in my hand, not in my pocket, for the lock to work. So, why not just use a key. I was planning to install this lock on another door, but that is out of the question.

    Poor quality

    Bought two for my new house. One received defected, the other one only last a week. Poor quality, very disappointed.
