    Not AirPlay compatible

    The switch itself works as advertised but if you have AirPlay devises you might want to find something else. These devices cause AirPlay to cut out and Belkin has not been able to correct it. Below was the response I got from them.

    Disappointing and Buggy!

    Got this as a birthday gift and was really excited to try it out. Unfortunately this product should really still be in the beta testing phase. It feels like Belkin released it to the public just to get ahead of any potential competition. Setting up the device is a bit of a headache and 50% of the time it still doesn't recognize the device when my iPhone and router are only 10 feet away; and if it does recognize it, it will say it's on when it's off and vice versa. Very buggy!

    Also, this thing acts almost as if it were possessed. I completed a software and firmware update, hard reset the device, cleared all rules and talked to Belkin's help desk and it STILL turns on/off randomly every morning around 9am and during the day and middle of the night. The last time it did that, it was a rapid on/off for over 5 minutes. I uploaded a video onto YouTube of it. Because his device is automatically turning on/off it is costing more electricity to operate which is fundamentally the opposite of one of the reasons to purchase it in the first place – to monitor and be efficient with energy consumption.

    Overall, it's very disappointing because Belkin was a reputable company and this technology has so much potential. I don't recommend this product, and will actually be returning this one.
