    Beats Studio 2013'

    • Written by from Norman

I have been against the wall for years about Beats first it was new then a fad then I decided 2013 to try them specially since they broke away from Monster. I tried sony, skulls, etc.. and I have to say the beats build quality is top notch! others were cheap plastic too flexible I felt like if I slept with them on I'd break them. I've slept with my Studios on my ears and I don't have to worry about breaking them tossing and turning. The bass is lower from what I understand to me its perfect, I can hear the mids, and highs really well I believe these headphones are great for EDM, Hip Hop definitely, pop, r&b... I don't think heavy metal works well with these IMO too much highs... Usually people that bash these about price is people that really can't afford them. It's no different than the android users bashing iOS because they deep down can't afford the nicer tech. I am a DJ and to be honest the industry does like these don't be fooled. Whether it's mainstream or not to you I wouldn't pass these up! They are quality equipment to have and a great investment. Only complaint is you have to charge them... but the battery lasts 20+ hours and it takes literally 20-30 mins to charge. I love mine had them for 4 months. I suggest staying away from the glossy black if you don't mind fingerprints.. wished I waited I love the matte look on the black and grey....

Poor materials, average moody sound, astronomical price... Tell you what, you can get genuinely better headphones for $100.

The quality of these Beats is so good that I have been able to hear every little sound that I've never heard before with other headphones. i love the feel of these on my head.
