Fell off and lost in two days! Won't sync w/ ipad/phone

    • Written by from Seattle

Got this as a present and set it up in 10-15 minutes. Downloaded fitbit app on ipad and iPod but after 4-5 hours of trying, I hadn't been able to sync it to either of them. Horrible clasp! It fell off in my sleep multiple times. Fell off today and it is gone. Lost forever. I owned it for two days. You'd think a clasp made for exercise/activities wouldn't come undone when someone is sleeping let alone average daily activities. I'm sure happy they got their 100$ of my moms hard earned money though. What a horrible experience.

Excellent Tracker / Worst Wristband Ever

    • Written by from LOUISA

If you decide to take a chance on this tracker, be prepared to replace it OFTEN! The wristband is horrible. It is next to impossible to get the two pronged clasp to insert into the band and even when you think it is locked in, the clasp will open unexpectedly every time you take your eyes off of it.

The whole point of going for a wristband solution is so you don't have to think about which piece of clothing you last left your fitness tracker in but with this one, you'll be constantly worrying about how many days before it goes missing and you have to decide to spend another $100+ to replace it.

The community forums have tons of people that have complained about this since the Flex came out and I only wish I had found all the complaints before I wasted my money on this device.

Wait until Fitbit actually decides to put out a band that isn't going to constantly fall off every time you walk out the door which could take decades given the lack of feedback you see from the company itself regarding the large number of complaints about this terrible wristband.

    Not accurate at all

    • Written by from Clarence creek

It tracks steps while sleeping, i woke up one morning having taken 10 steps in the middle of the night. I contacted the company and they said that if you become restless in the middle of the night it can register as steps, shows how inaccurate they know their product is

Fit bit flex not worth the money.

    • Written by from jackson

I bought the fit bit and I was thrilled with it it at first then I tried to input my food and could not find basic food on the list but what really turned me against the fit bit is I took it off and left it on my shelf and I decided for fun I would check my calories burned I was shocked that I burnt 1272 while I was not even wearing it so my opinion is it's a rip off.

    Inaccurate and flimsy wrist band.

    • Written by from Sydney

I loved the app design, however the data is inaccurate. On a typical morning (getting out of bed, making breakfast and getting ready for work) it would say I had already burnt upwards of 1200 calories. I burn half this amount in an intense workout! Also, after only 4 months of use I woke up to find the wrist strap had snapped in my sleep. The larger strap it came with was far too big for my wrist to use.
