    Not for everyone

    • Written by from Logan

I had a difficult time fitting for my ears. After 3-4 hours of finding the best fit I loved them for about a week. The more I moved the harder it was to keep them in my ears. I think I might have a unique ear canal or something. I bought these because they look great and are great in theory. I returned them today ultimately because they were falling out as I was eating my lunch trying to watch a movie on my mobile device. I wish they worked out for me.

    Needs Significant Improvement

    • Written by from Tega cay

Sound quality is very good. However, comfort is poor and the case is useless. The rubber ear pads that fit over the speaker are not thick enough to fit snugly into the ear and protect against the hard shell that houses the speaker. Hence, they slip out, and if you jam it into your ear to get a good fit, they hurt. The case is a joke. You can't open it without long finger nails. There's nothing to grab onto to open it. Did this company not test its product before they released it to market with a $170 price tag????!!!!!!

If they fix the ear buds and their case and send me the retrofitted stuff, I'd give it high marks.

Great Headphone - If only they would stay in place.

    • Written by from North Vancouver

The headphones are a significant improvement on their previous Freedom model, with great crisp clear sound, strong base, improved battery life, and no bluetooth dropouts, but they don't stay in place. The securefit doesn't stay in place while running, either with the cable down or using the crossfit method. The reason that I can see is that the sports ear cushions move around on the headphone as I run. The ring of the cushion is to thin unlike the Freedom model. The Freedom model stays in place but this version doesn't!!! In every other way they are great. This needs fixing for these to be an excellent rival to wired headphones.

Great sound but a little buggy

    • Written by from San Marcos

Probably the best bluetooth in ear headphones on the market. Looks like they thought of everything. Ear canal fit, great design, sweat proof! The sound quality is amazing. One thing they messed up is the switches on the cord. They are so sensitive that they often interrupt the music if they just barely touch your skin. Also, the bluetooth connection is only 90% reliable. Still, a great trade off not to have those pesky wires and superior sound.

    Two pairs stopped working

    • Written by from Mission

First pair stopped working because of sweat damage. Just recently the second pair died for no reason. Hard to get a good fit for premium sound . Support is excellent though.

    Some shortcomings

    • Written by from VANCOUVER

Pros: The sound quality was good. I found that the earbuds stayed in place well when running. The voice prompts are a nice touch.

Cons: I had to return the JayBird BlueBuds X Premium Bluetooth Headphones because:
    1. The control does not support the iPhone Music App functions for fast forward (press center button twice and hold) and rewind (press center button three times and hold) like the Apple EarPods do. This was confirmed by JayBird support. I find these functions critical if listening to audio books, interviews, etc.
    2. The earbuds do not block outside noise very well, but I don’t know if any earbuds can do this well.
