    Just don't hold up

    Great sound, awesome fit, and love the wireless, but alas, they did not hold up. After about 3 weeks, and right in the middle of a run, they cut off and I was never able to get them to come back on. I exchanged them for another pair at Bestbuy and within the next week they stopped working. In the middle of crossfit session and they continued to redial my phone repeatedly before shutting down completely. Again, could not get them to come back on. Not sure they stand up to sweat as much as Jaybird claims. I managed to return them and get the $170 back (thanks to the extra insurance I paid). If Jaybird fixes this glitch, these will be well worth the money.

    I am about to return my second pair now!!!!! I have had 2 pairs in 2 weeks and neither made it past 2 workouts. They just stopped working!!!!

    3 pairs just stop working disappointed

    I just sent back my third pair of jay birds bluebuds x units. They all started out working and sounding terrific at first ...but after an hour or so of running/working out they just power off on there own for no apparent reason and will not come back on. Extremely frustrating. The jay birds service person I spoke with says perhaps I just sweat too much. :-/. If it were one pair I would chalk it up to chance but I literally have tried three pairs and each one the exact same thing happened. I'm going to go try some wired premium head phones now.

    Great when they work......poor reliability

    I recently bought a pair having used the original Jaybees for some years. The sound quality is fantastic and the comfort and fit exceptional, however.......they worked fine the first time out, but the subsequent 3 times after a full charge, they have shown full charge on the new battery icon on the phone yet after 20-30 mins they repeatedly try to dial my last called number and then shut down without warning and then won't reconnect until after another full charge then the same happens again. They will be returned. Reading other reviews it seems to be a common problem.

    3 pairs in 6 months

    I was given a pair of these earbuds as a gift in February. Once properly fitted and paired they work great. Unfortunately, I've had 3 pairs quit on me. I wear them running and they get very wet from sweat, I'm assuming this is the problem. All 3 pairs quit mid workout and would not power back on (after a full charge). I really like them, when they work, but unfortunately I've had it with them. Time to move on.

    NOT WORTH IT. THEY DON'T LAST...

    I bought those headphones about 4 months ago and used them with great pleasure for about 3 months, when all of a sudden the battery lasted for only for 25 minutes (with full charge) then 15 minutes....then 5 minutes....now they will not even turn on. Totally disappointed by this investment. Not fair...sorry! But while I used them they were awesome - delivering the best music experience cordless...perhaps an update is needed

    Dies suddenly.

    The first set died in four weeks and the second set in three months. I have the third pairs now and waiting for when will happen again. I think they are not completely sweat proof. Because they both died during running.
    Replacement is a big issue, if you live a country where there is no jaybird support and apple store.
    I replaced my third pair in Hong Kong apple store where i bought it. They first refused to replace it, then changed their mind.

    Destined for your junk drawer

    I bought these a month and a half ago. I had to replace them a week after i bought them because the first set refused to take a charge. I thought it was a fluke. Six weeks later my second set has done the same thing. I decided to google "jaybirds won't take a charge" and lo and behold there is a world of folks out there who have bought these headsets and are holding a hundred and fifty dollar pair of junk. The sound IS good but if they aren't working that isn't much of a recommendation. There appears to be a battery design flaw and no one wants to admit to that so they blame everything from the charger to improper usage to anything else that keeps them from admitting they are selling junk.

    'buds not re-charging

    Once I'd sorted the fit in the ears out all was going fine until, one day, the 'buds would not take a charge. Reading thru' the reviews, this appears to be a common type of failure in what should be a premium product. Not impressed. Until Jaybird address and rectify this fault I'd buy something else.

    Nice when were working

    Had 2 of these headphones and both stopped working with same issues, I bought the second ones because I thought I was lucky with the first ones, but not the second ones had the same problem that the first ones and like many other reviews they worked for about a month then just stopped working for any reason, when I plug them to charge the led light goes to green and never turn on, too expensive for the quality they're built.

    Sound great, fit secure even they look nice, but just last a month of use.

    Very Disappointed

    Bought these for my wife and I for outdoor activities. My set worked for 2 uses and then they started cutting out whenever the earbud was moved slightly and the control buttons malfunctioned causing all 3 buttons to only function as on/off buttons. My wife's battery only lasted about 3 hours from day one and this has not improved with recharging. Not quite the claimed 8 hours of run time. The buds wiil also not stay in place. Standard iPhone buds stay in place much better.

    Stop working occasionally

    I second and third all the reviews on how great these headphones are in terms of quality and sound, but also the reviews about the price and even worse on how these stop working. I've had the freedoms and the freedom sprints and never had a single issue with them, but I've had these for less than a week, and despite being fully charged and new they disconnect themselves from my iphone and mac randomly a lot and it takes a few minutes for me to turn them off and reconnect. Bummer. Guess I'm taking these back, going back to my freedoms, and waiting for the next version :/

    Stop working just 1 month after I bought it

    I wanted to buy some "quality" bluetooth headphones for my daily run ... such disappointed, I used them for 1 month and they just stopped working ... so my recommendation ... don't buy them .... ERROR ERROR I decided to keep running with something cheaper ... at least if they ruined I won't regret about the price I paid !

    Huge Let Down....

    I really wanted to like these headphones (I wanted wireless headphones for working out & walking around) but I had too many problems to justify keeping them. JayBird provides 3 different size ear tips & I tried them all. The large ones seemed to provide the best seal inside my ears but I could feel them slipping out with any type of significant movement. Once the earbuds begin to slip outside of your ear, you begin to lose the bass. I was somewhat willing to overlook this & push them back inside my ears every few minutes but then the battery life was no where near the advertised specs. After around 40 minutes of continuous use with Rdio's music app, I'd hear the battery low warning message which means that you only have 15 - 20 minutes left. I recharged the batteries & got the same results. Unacceptable! Sadly, I returned the BlueBuds to the store for a refund.

    Good design. Not sweatproof.

    Really wanted to love these headphones. Design is very good, with ability to loop cables over your ears if you need more stability when exercising. Also provides small "clips" so cable doesn't sit on your neck when working it, which would be annoying and is how the older version works unfortunately.

    Where these fall down, and in a very serious way, is they don't withstand sweat as advertised. While there is a lifetime warranty against malfunction due to sweat (buyer beware: at company's discretion), my headphones fail in less than 90 days every single time I've owned them when I've worked out regularly. It becomes such a pain to have to send them back (at your own expense, at least the first few times) and wait for your new ones to arrive.

    I'd look elsewhere. Can't stress this enough. The older version with a less attractive design is much more resistant to sweat.

    Not sweatproof...

    Wore these for running for two weeks, first failure after 7 runs - just stops playing, as though the control has been activated (NOT A BATTERY PROBLEM). Doesn't begin working properly again until dried out. Gave it 5 more runs, had the same issue runs 11 & 12. They remain in-ear as advertised, and battery life is good (pluses). Even tried using the supplied ties to keep the controller from touching me, but it still failed, though only marginally wet with sweat. If they were sweatproof, I would have kept them. Ended up returning them. Great idea, and if truly sweatproof, I would still have them. Probably deserves more stars for fit & sound, however, that doesn't count if they just shut off.

    Don't buy if you sweat

    Sound quality - great
    Build - great
    controls - adequate
    fit- pathetic - worst ever easily. The hydrophobic nature of the earbuds pushes them out of your ears. Running along while it's cold until you sweat no problem - sweating they won't stay in place for 10 strides.
    Value - poor

    So So Quality, Bad Customer Service

    the earbuds are okay. sound is good, but impossible to get them to fit properly, or stay in, because of shape of buds and rubber ear insert. what's more, when my charging cord went bad in the first two months, they would not replace it. simply refused and told me any android charging cord would work. this was my second problem purchase from this company. they have flashy advertising, but that's basically all you're paying for. you can get a much higher quality set of earphones for the price they are charging. plus, do you want to pay for non-existent customer service?
