    Disappointing

    The build is not very good. The device is rather flimsy and made high-pitched squealing noises during operation from the first day. After a few weeks, it began printing broken type, and none of the maintenance functions were able to correct the problem. The Epson support line was not helpful and left me with no solution. I simply threw the machine out.

    NOT a wireless printer

    This printer does NOT print wirelessly for me. If you search reviews, you will find dozens of reviews that say the same. When you first bring it home and set it up, it seems great, then after it goes to sleep, it stops communicating with my macbook and I have to go down to the printer and physically turn it on and off. Twice I have been on the phone with Epson support and they simply reinstalled drivers and both times the printer goes back to needing to be powered off-on. Finally, Epson said it is my Time Machine's fault and that I should call Apple. I would not buy this printer again, and Apple certainly should not list it as an apple compatible product.

    Worked for a minute and then...

    It's on it's second black ink cartridge and now it prints less than acceptable word documents mostly only half of print job and pictures are horrible. Do not buy this printer.

    Does not work with MacBook Pro running Mavericks

    AirPrint does not work at all and if I try to print via USB, it will recognize it once in about 10 attempts. Works with my iPad, but I need it to work with my laptop as well.

    I gave up on Epson All in one printers

    Work fine for a while, then when the operating system gets updated the utility software stops working. Pictures have weird lines through them.

    Worst idea ever!!!

    I bought this printer and it worked fine for a while but then I ran out of ink and found out that it will not print at all if any of the cartridges is empty. In my case, the Cyan cartridge was empty and I do not use this color. I just wanted to print black and white but the printer will not work unless ALL cartridges are good. This seems to be a problem with all Epson printers.

    Bad product....worse customer service!

    This product was received and installed worked for less than 5 days. Piece of junk.
    Junk!!!! Please do not buy! Customer Service very poor. Had to pay for exchange printer before
    They would send new printer. No compensation for my inconvenience or lost time.
    WILL NEVER BUY EPSON PRODUCT IN FUTURE.....

    Don't Waste Your Money

    I have had this printer for about 6 months, works great with my Mac. Prints out great, but when mobile printer it is distorted and wrong sizes. After 6 months of fairly regular use (nothing out of ordinary just mostly word documents) the black and color ink cartridges print HORRIBLE quality (unreadable), I could do better free handing. I replaced the cartridges multiple times cleaned the printer head did everything it said online as well. I will never buy another Epson printer, SAVE YOUR MONEY I have read other reviews just like what happened to me.

    Worst Printer EVER!!

    This printer has never worked properly! It does not recognize USB connections to my Mac. The Wi-Fi wizard has to be constantly reset.
    The black ink cartridge is full but no black ink comes out, I have replaced it three times. What a piece of junk!!

    Print quality didn't last

    After a year or so of very occasional use, it no longer prints with acceptable quality. I tried all the maintenance steps, like cleaning the heads and alignment checks, which seem to work fine, yet it can't print a legible boarding pass. It also the most flimsy and cheap feel of any printer I've owned.

    I won't buy another Epson. I got this one when I bought my iMac. Apple should drop them.

    When it prints...

    When it prints it's a nice printer. The printer prints for a while and then you have to set up the wifi again. Scanning was always an issue and even when the printer was connected with USB the Mac Mini could not find the printer. Printer goes back to Best Buy tomorrow. I hate that I already spent $80 on XL printer cartridges.

    OSX software is AWFUL

    I wanted to be able to scan from the printer using the printer buttons so spent hours trying to get their flawed software to work. Even their installation disk does not install their "Epson Scan" product but no matter as it didn't work anyway.

    And their "Event Manager" software does not respond (spinning ball of death). There is no support from Epson online for OSX other than the basic installation instructions (that do not work).

    I ended up deleting all of the Epson software and just have to be happy scanning from my Mac using Image Capture and the basic OSX driver for the printer. That part does work well.

    I'd love to hear if there is a printer out there for Mac OSX that will scan from the printer buttons over a network.
