    Do NOT buy this case to protect your phone.

    I bought this iPhone case, despite its hefty pricetag, because it was stunning and because I understood it be something that would protect my phone. It did not. I dropped my phone on the ground from the smallest of heights (my own bag) and the glass front of my phone shattered into a zillion pieces. The phone is destroyed. This case did nothing, nothing, nothing to protect it. Do understand that the lip of the case barely wraps around the phone -- it's not raised enough to protect the face of the phone from anything, clearly. So, now I'm out the price of this case AND the phone it didn't protect. Trust me, you don't need this trouble for something pretty. I would give it zero stars if I could.

    Best case for a white iPhone

    I searched and searched for a nice case that wasn't clearly targeted towards women that matched the white iphone5. There's only one, and its this case. I get a lot of comments on it from everyone that sees it. I've owned smartphones for 6 years now and I've never found a case that I was willing to keep on my phone until this one.

    Spring in my step!

    I just picked up this case for spring. Super stylish and feels really great in your hand. I'm pretty clumsy and have dropped my phone about 3x so far, no cracks and that case is still perfect!

    Grabbing one for mom this Mothers Day too!

    Very Sophisticated Looking

    I've had this "off white" case for one week and I love how it looks and feels in my hand. The gold color has changed to a bronze, though, and if I ever dropped it I'm almost positive that it wouldn't do very well at protecting the phone. I've gotten a lot of comments on how beautiful it is, though. So if you're looking for style, get it. If you're looking for protection, look elsewhere.

    I bought the white with gold trim case about 3 months ago and am very happy with my purchase! As i ordered it from the Apple website, I wasn't entirely sure what I was going to get, especially at $50, but it is a great case, and has turned out to be a LOT more durable than expected. The white leather has stayed perfectly white, and the trim has not discolored at all, though it is more bronze than gold, but it looks great. I have continued to shop around for iPhone 5 cases, just to see what's out there, and have yet to find one that I like more. If you are the kind of person that drops your phone often, this may not be the case for you, but I personally take care of my things and this is perfect for me.

    Paint started flaking off!

    Beware of this product the shiny paint started to flake off after 1 month of use I'm now stuck with a $50 dollar product that's defective.

    Not Worth the $50

    I bought this case, it looked sharp. But barely a month old, the case has discoloured on one side. It is overpriced. I am going to try and return it, but I am not sure Apple will take it back. That will upset me, so I am not sure what I will do.

    I thought it would be more of a cream colour with the gold metal trim, its more of a bronze trim with pure white "leather" very cheaply made, waste of money.

    Perfect case for me

    I really didn't want to get a case for my iPhone 5 because I didn't want to lose the classy, pretty design of the phone itself. I decided to try this case though, and I'm so happy I did. The gold on the edges is definitely darker than I thought, more bronze, which I personally like. And the reviews that say it's flimsy are partly right- there are clearly sturdier iPhone cases. But, I need a little protection and something that looks nice, so this case is perfect for me. If you plan on dropping yours from a 5th story window, this is probably not for you.

    I'd recommend people find something else. The bottom and top of the iPhone do not get covered at all, the case just wraps around the back and the sides (which is what most cases seem to be doing lately, no idea why). I personally prefer a case that wraps around the entire phone, so you cant get any nicks around any edge.

    Not a bad case, not great either. For 50$, do us both a favor and find something better.

    I've tried many cases and this is the one for my white phone. It's got a very clean, elegant and polish look. It might not give the best protection should you drop your phone though.

    It's nice and looks great, but I'm scared this isn't going to protect the phone at all. It hardly weighs anything and doesn't feel as sturdy/thick as the case I had on my 4, which was also made by ADOPTED.

    The edge on the front is not raised, so if you have your phone upside down on a table, the screen is touching the table.

    I'm also 99% positive this thing will be dirty and dingy looking in no time.

    I looked for days for the perfect case and this is it. It does not change the feel of the phone but the bumpy leather texture helps for a good grip. It fits perfectly. The white with gold trim looks sooo classy on my new white iphone 5. If you are thinking that it is a little pricey just remember that you may spend less but you may need to buy another soon. So what are you saving. Also the Apple store is one of the few that let's you receive a full refund for 14 days. Most others offer exchanges only. So why not give it a try. I know that you will love it as much as I do.

    My friend has this case and I WANT it! Sharp looks, sleek fit and and sooo beautiful. It feels good in your hand too. Soon I will have it too!
